A fantastic site, lovely owners. Toilet and shower blocks were always clean and tidy, useful laundry room. The play area and games room were a big hit with the children. The site was kept spotless at all times. Spacious pitches, very peaceful site. Highly Recommended

Greenhill Leisure Park is a young site being in its fourth year I believe. The owners have gone out of their way to create a high quality camping venue with much money being invested and no corners cut.

Reception was manned by two staff on arrival and has a small store inside for essentials. You enter the site through electronic gates and immediately see the well manicured, extremely generous pitches.(We could easily fit car, caravan and awning side by side with room to spare), electric hook up is very close and long leads are not required, water and waste are close and well drained and chemical disposable and washing up facilities are adequate. Washing is £3 and drying and ironing facilities are also available.

For the children there is a games room open until 10pm (cctv covered from reception) a small assault type play area and a mini football pitch and basketball hoop. A petting area is also fascinating for the younger children. Three fishing lakes are also on site but nothing was caught while we were there.

Toilet and shower facilities were first class being nearly new and finished to a high standard.(showers are free and hand wash is at every sink)

This is a site that we shall be visiting again this year, I only hope that the massive expenditure by the owners doesn't result in rising prices. We paid £13 a night with EHU and found this a fair price.

Black Heads Inn in Bletchingdon serves large portions of quality food at reasonable prices and can be reached easily on foot for those wanting to work up an appetite.

Can't fault the site itself. The pitches are the widest I think we have ever had. We were pitched near the smaller toilet block, which looks to be fairly new, and has two showers in the ladies and one in the gents. Spotless. There is another larger block near the site entrance with more showers. Little things like putting scouring pads on each sink so that you can clean up after yourself - it all helps to make a difference. The shop was good (fresh eggs!), there was a large games room with pool tables and table tennis. Lots of animals around. All good.

The Oxford Canal/River Cherwell runs through the bottom of the site, however the tow path is on the other side of the river and there is nowhere to cross so no access to it from the site.

The pubs in the nearby villages are both good but neither are ideal to walk to as the road is busy and fast, and there is no footpath. Definitely not safe to walk it after dark.

Just come home from a weekend at Greehill Farm. What a lovely well organised place. Weather was definitely against us, woke up this morning to 5-6 inches of snow. Owners were not worried, did everything they could to help and allowed us to stay until it was safe to leave. Fishing lakes were great, shop well stocked, animals around farm were brill and all facilities were new and spotlessly clean. A credit to the family. Keep up the hard work and see you in 10 weeks time.

Thank you for a lovely weekend. Couldn't fault a thing, thank you.

We had a good stay at Greenhill Leisure Park during Easter 2008.

The owners were very helpful prior to arrival. They answered emails within a day and provided us with an extra pitch next door only a few days before our arrival.

Facilities were good and as advertised. We were traipsing in mud into the toilets, but you could hardly tell as they were cleaned regularly. The showers were hot and without a meter or push button. I took full advantage due to the cold weather. I would be concerned about the number of facilities in the peak season. As virtually the only campers we never had to queue!

Unfortunately we were unable to try everything. We would have loved to try some of the walks, but it was very windy! We ventured into the games room which looked good, but was a bit chilly. We could hear trains on the nearby line, but they were not very often and I never heard them when in bed.

I'd definitely be going back if there was more to see in the area.

I went to this site on one of the worst weekends of 2007 for rain. It hammered it down from Friday through to Sunday with a small break for about 3 hours on Saturday afternoon. With this said, the rally field held up remarkably well and did not turn into a swamp at all. Yes the surfaces were wet and your feet got wet, but hey it had been raining for the last two months. The drainage was incredible and the site held up so well.

We arrived to a very chirpy couple in reception who showed us to our pitch and also the facilities on site. They even came to help when a sparrow decided to use my car boot as a nest for a few hours !

The site is very well equipped with a lovely facilities block, laundry room, shop in reception, a large games room, play area and field and a dog walk area. The games room was a saviour considering the weather and we spent a fair time in there playing pool and on the various pinball and quiz machines.

The main site is well set out with plenty of space between each unit and a seperate toilet block in on the main field. We were on the rally field which was very flat and had some EHU points.

The site is located about 10 minutes drive from Oxford which makes for a nice day out. Plus also the other attractions that the area has to offer.

The local village pub has a cash machine and sells nice food and drink, but there is also another great pub (if you turn right out of the site) that is located by the canalside and they offer great food, reasonably priced and good beer.

Overall a good site and one that I would return to when next in the area and fairly reasonable pitch fees too.

We only spent 3 nights here, unfortunately! The site was very clean, level and really peaceful. Toilet block was spotless. Given great recommendations regarding local pubs, which were spot on!

We stayed here the weekend of the floods in Oxfordshire. The ground was quite squelchy as you might expect but what a lovely campsite. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were very friendly and helpful.

The toilets and showers were very clean considering the conditions that weekend. There was a good enclosed dog walking area at the far end of the site.

The games room was stocked with pool and table tennis tables as well as pinball machines, which were great value our pound lasted for ages and the whole family was able to take turns. In the games room was a fridge and freezer which was free to use, although we had no need to use it at the time.

This is a very nice campsite where we will be returning in the future hopefully in better weather!

Greenhill Park was our introduction to the world of family camping. Although we went with 'experienced' friends, we didn't know quite what to expect, and my wife and I set off to Greenhill Park with two children (12 and 2), the dog, and some trepidation. However, what a great introduction!

The owners are very nice, the park is beautiful, and the amenities were superb.

On arrival I realised that I'd forgotten the bungs for the air-mattresses. Although the shop didn't sell spare bungs, the owners loaned us their double-air-mattress for the weekend.

There is a grass play park for the kids. Large dog field for the dogs. The games room is great, with pool tables, pinball, arcade games, table tennis and more.

All around the farm are a variety of animals (pigs, goats, horses, etc), all of which seem friendly and approachable. The kids loved them.

Showers and toilets were excellent. The sinks all had luxury hand-wash next to them. Showers are basically large wet-rooms with a power-shower in each. My wife was pleased to find a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board in the wash-up room. Two sinks with free washing-up liquid as well.

The local pub (the Blacks Head) is a short-ish walk away. It is dog and kid-friendly. The food is varied and very nice, with huge portions. The staff and locals are very friendly.

The first hot weekend of the summer saw the camp-site fully booked, but it wasn't over-crowded.

My wife is now totally won over with camping and is already looking to book more weekends away!

My impression of Greenhill Park? I likened it to a luxury hotel with a cold bedroom!

I have to say this was the BEST site our family has ever used. The service before we even arrived was superb as Paul the owner was very helpful in providing flood free routes to the site. The site has large pitches and a designated play area and football pitch. The games room is clean and well lit.
The showers were hot and clean, and considering the weather of late the toilet blocks were also clean and tidy. There was no litter on site and although dogs are very welcome there was no signs of mess or inconsiderate owners. The shop stocks the basics plus enough extras to make sure the kids spent their pocket money in short time.
The site is less than a 10 minute drive from oxford park and ride but to be honest we were happy to stay on site and wander around the farm looking at the animals.
This is a fabulous site in a beautiful part of the country. We can't wait to go back. If I have one criticism it is the site only accepts cash or cheque but the rates are so good it is a minor grumble.

This was another wet weekend meet here at this camp site, with all the rain we had I was half expecting the camping fields to be waterlogged but they wasnt that bad, the field we had for the oxford meet was pretty well drained even though there were small patchs where water lay but apart from that all went well. How ever with all the wet and damp weather we had that weekend I did have a slight problem with the eletric as it kept on tripping and Paul ( site owner ) was kind enough to keep resetting the main trip switch, I think paul got a little concerned that it kept on tripping so by the end of the weekend I was using pauls extention lead so I could use a different point and this was fine. I have nothing bad to say about this site at all

Hope you got the box sorted out Paul and thank you for your time in this matter not all site owners would of done what you did. I will go back to this site hopefully in drier conditions next time.

Keep up the good work Paul and Pauline.

P.S if you was wondering whos freezer pack it was left in the fridge it was mine sorry I should of phone you to say so.

Just got back from a wet weekend at Greenhill Leisure Park and have to say it was worth it. We were debating whether to go or not with the recent rainfall but after posting for advice on the message board we were reassured that it wouldn't be that bad. So off we went and we were not let down by the site at all. The facilities were excellent the best I have seen and the owners very helpful which was a good thing seeing as we forgot our hammer! The pitches were very large and my husband couldn't get over how good the soil was and how well kept the grass was. There are a few animals here and there around the campsite which is good to pass time on if you've got children. We tried to walk to the river at the bottom of the field but the cows wouldn't let us pass. So we decided to go to the pub The Rock of Gibraltar (take a left out of the campsite and its 2 mins drive) which is on a canal. Lots of barges moored to eat and drink at the pub which has benches outside so you can watch them go by. Our only downfall was when we were out at Oxford for the morning the wind picked up back at the site and mangled our gazebo but you live and learn. So I would definitely recommend this site and give it 10 out of 10.

Stayed for 2 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose Greenhill as it was close to home and this was our first time camping with a new tent and our 10 month old baby and we weren't sure how it would work out.
Everything was great. We had our pick of pitches as it wasn't too busy. All the facilites were clean, although they could do either do with another toilet in the block with 2, or have the wash basins outside the toliet cubicle so that people don't spend so long in there. Washing up area was always clean and tidy.
The owners were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this site.

Returned after visiting this campsite last year. As promised, the facilities have been much improved (which is going some as the only complaint I had last year was that the toilet blocks were too far away).

Firstly, a great welcome, the family that run this are amongst the friendliest I have ever met. They always have time for a chat and are very willing to listen to any suggestions.

Improvements I have noticed are:
- Additional toilet block in the middle of the field (very clean and great showers)
- electric pitches on the rally field (very unusual!)
- well stocked junior fishing lake (large one to come I believe)
- extended dog walking area

All in all, very reasonably priced, excellent facilities and on top of Oxford and Bicester.
