We have just come back from this superb site. We arrived quite late but the owners were very helpful in getting our large caravan in a tight spot.
We were pitched right next to the childrens play area, but it didnt seem over noisy, although we did notice quite a few children were left to their own devices for long periods of time.
The site was spotless and we couldnt ask for more in a site - except for one thing, better dog walks! There are two designated 'dog walks' but it was literally a small path which really wasnt enough to let the dogs burn off excess energy.
The pools were a great hit with me and the children, they were very clean and tidy, and the children loved the jacuzzi!
Access to this site is easy and the pitches are a good size too. Its a fairly small site but it felt roomy, nice and level, and safe for the children to go exploring.
I would definitely recommend this site, and if it wasnt for the lack of dog exercising fields, we would definitely go again :^)

I write this from a mum of a 15 month old. As per usual in britain it rained pretty much of the 5 nights we spent here, but can honestly say we didnt really notice it! The staff were superb, always smiling and friendly. We were in the tenters area which is a separate area and consits of only a few pitches which are huge. This is the nearest you are gonna get to a french campsite in England. We were opposite the toilets and behind the childrens play area which was a perfect location as our toddler kept wanting to go and play. Kitted out in an all weather waterproof he could crawl around quite happy. The covered washing up area with free freezer (chill the beers whilst washing up) and microwave was brilliant - made it so much easier for teatime. The toilets are so lovely, warm, cosy. Basically I was happy to take my footwear off, not cringe if my toothbrush fell on the floor and felt it was as clean as my own at home (if not better). We had the key to the family bathroom, which was great for settling the baby at night with a bath, in fact one night I sneaked in with a glass on wine and enjoyed a bath myself. We went to the public swim two mornings, trying each pool, which was very quiet. There is a waterproof playpen by the pool, so when our son had had enough or we wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi we put him in there, alternatively they have some low seats which you can strap them in to - useful when they are dressed and you are not. The nearest pub has an outdoor covered area so we ate out there allowing our toddler to play whilst we ate and not worry us, or more to the point others! with his noise level. The enclosed dog walking areas are great for running out the dog in morning or before bed and in the village is a great walk which the part I did was on buggy friendly paths but away from all traffic (through to the lakes themselves) Witney is lovely, did some nice clothes shopping and have a variety of children friendly places esp. Huffkins the old fashioned but modern tea and cake place. Nothing could fault this site and considering we went with a dog, baby, no electricity (in our tent), 5 days of rain and still didnt come back early (we live only an hour away) I think says it all. Dont hesitate book now.

We visited at end of half term holiday, so site busy when we arrived on the Saturday, but didn't feel overcrowded. Spacious pitch (we had standard pitch but I believe there are 'super' pitches which seem to give a bit more room and your own water tap, but to be honest, we were very happy with our pitch). Excellent toilet/shower facilities, very clean. The pool facility is really nice - we went in the bigger of the two pools, which also has sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and children's pool. There are a couple of public sessions or you can hire by the hour at a reasonable cost - we used the pool on the Monday when the site was quieter (majority of people went home on the Sunday but our children had an inset day so we were able to have an extra day - it was lovely because we virtually had the site to ourselves!) so we didn't bother to hire it out but at busy times, this is an excellent service. There is a small putting course and giant chess and draughts, next to a lovely huge playing field. There is also a nice play area near the tent field. The shop is well stocked, and reasonably priced, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier - they are a credit to the site!
We drove to Oxford on the Sunday - if you're in a motorhome beware though - we tried two of the park & rides and both had height restrictions so we couldn't use them. Fortunately as we'd chosen to visit on a Sunday, the roads in the centre of Oxford weren't too busy and we were able to find a car park we could get into quite easily - our motorhome, at 6m long, just fitted into the parking bay - (next to the ice rink - not that many spaces though). Even on a Sunday parking is quite expensive - what a shame Oxford CC doesn't seem to like motorhomers!
All in all, excellent site, can't think of any criticisms - definitely one for the return trip pile!

Lovely site. Well landscaped with excellent facilities all round. Other reports say it all.
Plenty of good food pubs around and close enough to Oxford. Best to park at the 'Pear Tree' and get the park and ride bus into the city.
For caravan and camping spares try the shop at the front of the 'Oxford International' Caravan & Camping Club site on the Southern by-pass (near the other park & ride).

We stayed here the last weekend of August on recommendations from friends. As a person who is fussy of cleaniness, I found this site to be very clean.
We had a pitch that was opposite the playground which the kids loved (aged 3 and 2 at time). Pathways were well lit at night.
We were really impressed that we are looking to go back this year for a weekend.
Plenty of Sinks for washing up. Use of freezer for free. There was a microwave for use too.

One of the nicest sites we've been to in the past 6 years.
Well laid out, clean, green (both in terms of trees, grass etc. But also the recycling facilities) peaceful ( for the most part) & friendly.
We stayed on a mixed gravel hard standing/grass pitch. All was flat & well drained throughout. The toilet/shower blocks were fresh, clean, warm, spacious & had piped music thrown in. One of those places where you actually look forward to going for your shower.
The shower/toilet block nearer the tent pitches were smaller but good.
There are a number of dish washing stations, waste disposal & food preparation areas dotted around the site.
Kids will love the Play area, giant chess/draughts board, putting green, playing field & shop.
The shop was not expensive.
The 2 pools are really good. We loved hiring the pool, sauna & jacuzzi for the 4 of us for an hour.
The site was well supervised by the staff.
Kids could wander/play everywhere in relative safety although one or two had a mis-hap on the gravel roads.
Everyone quitened down by 11.30pm which is a must for us!
Some occassional road & aircraft noise.
Be prepared for the 'Dawn Chorus' as there is plenty of bird life here from Buzzards to Cuckoos, plenty of Squirrels & be prepared for the Chickens running around once they've been let out in the mornings.
The kids will love the Giant Rabbits.
A great site that doesn't rip you off & is much cheaper than most Club sites that don't offer as good a package or those that don't take late evening noise seriously.
We didn't get plagued by insects here either. Which was nice! This may have had something to do with the Citronella lamp we had burning, but I think it was also for the fact that it is so clean & odour-free here!
Two pubs outside the site. One to your left is 50yds away & the other (turn right) is about 500yds away. We didn't visit them but both looked nice.
You can get a bus from the top of the lane to Oxford which takes about 40mins.
Alternatively (which we would recommend) is to drive to the Park & Ride car parks & get the shuttle bus into Oxford.
Don't try driving into Oxford as parking is limited & expensive!
Oxford is very interesting. Go on the open-top bus ride if you can. The museums are free!
Overall a top class weekend for us!
We will be going back!

We were a little anxious about our first camping trip of the season in our Monty 6 but thanks to the staff at Lincoln Farm Park we had a great three days. We like this type of camping, we don't like roughing it. This site offers luxury but is not too pricey. The site is well laid out with very spacious pitches for caravans / motorhomes / trailer tents and tents. The tent site is pretty uniform basically a rectangular field with a gravel access road running through. The campers kitchen is one endand a very well kept toilet / shower block at the other. The childrens play area is just behind which was perfect for us.
This is quite a small site so getting around is easy. The kids loved exploring on their bikes. The little shop is great (would be better if it sold wine!) the staff are very friendly and children are made to feel very welcome. The shop sells penny sweets which was a great hit. There is a fantastic play field which could never get full. On our first evening we strolled down to the Black Horse pub.Well it was fantastic, great service, the food and staff were lovely. Kids aren't welcome in the main bar but they do have a family room and restaurant as well as garden. This pub is very olde worlde but tiptop. They do very reasonable takeaways as well.
The site has two pools which are open to all from 0900 - 1030 and then from 1600 - 1730. They offer the unique opportunity to privately hire the pools during the day for your family. We took advantage of this and it was fantastic.
Altogther a great site and I recommend it highly. We will return. Its up there with Clippesby Hall (Norfolk) and the Quiet site (Lakes)
Well done Lincoln Farm Park and thanks for a lovely stay.

This was our very first trip out as newcomers to touring and this site certainly eased us into it gently. Booked two nights on a fully serviced pitch and now anything less seems like hard work! Site very clean, ducks very friendly and nice play area although my two daughters a little too old for it. Daughters did enjoy booking one of the two heated indoor pools for a private family 1 hours swim, good value for money too! Did the park and ride to Oxford and also walked the short distance to Pub just along from site entrance, meal great. Would love to return, if only for the luxuriously decorated toilet blocks which are not only heated but play music as you enter too!

We stayed here with a group of other friends, all with young children, and found it a very nice site. The pitches weren't too cramped, the faclities always clean.
Our two particularly enjoyed the outdoor checkers board near the entrance and the large games field.
The ability to book a private session at the pool is a great idea.
Nice pub just up the road from the site entrance.
Definitely a site to return to.

Overall I think this is the nicest site we have stayed on. The pitches are spacious and well defined and the site is kept very clean and tidy at all times.
The showers and toilets were always clean and no queues.
There is a good childrens play area and a separate field for ball games.
The swimming pools were lovely and being able to hire one for an hour at a reasonable price was great, this included use of the sauna as well.
There is also a well equipped gym with weights and various cardio machines.
We travelled to Legoland for the day from this site (can't remember exactly but think it took about an hour so not too far really). Oxford is good to visit too and we had a very enjoyable afternoon visiting the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
We would definitely go back to this site if we were visiting this area again and would recommend it to others.

We had our first ever camping trip here in April and I can not fault the place.
Toilets and showers and family bath room were all imaculate, the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was well layed out.
The omly thing I can say against the place is that everthing is well layed out in organised pitches so if you prefer an more open layout then this site is not like that.
If I didn't live 6 miles away I would go back again and again.

I have just got back from this site - absolutely great.
Being able to hire the pools for a hour is a fantastic idea.
Site is very quiet and after about 10PM you can't hear a pin drop.
Toilet and shower block is very very clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful if your pitch is a bit awkward or you're not too good at the reversing lark
Two great pubs in the village with 2 more down by the river about a mile away.
Overall I would give the site 11 out of 10.Will definitely go back.
Only downside of the area (rather than the site itself) is that unless the kids enjoy looking around Oxford there's not a great deal for them to do.

This is our favourite site! We have stayed here every Whitsun for the last 6 years, and are yet to be disappointed! The facilities are excellent, toilets and showers are spotless, children's play area is great, our boys love it. The swimming pools are fantastic. Good well stocked shop. Nice large pitches. Great atmosphere. Nice pubs in village and a post office. Well worth a visit.

Visited this beautiful site for our 2wk summer holiday. Being july we had expected it to be hot but 10/14 days it rained. However the site itself was fantastic. Good large pitches with electric points in a small (20 pitches) field with dog walk nearby and campers kitchen made our stay enjoyable. Toilets were immaculate 24/7 and happy staff were emptying bins and tidying up everytime you looked around. Childrens play ground was were our son seemed to spend all his time, however this was closed after 9pm to help keep noise levels down in evening. Shop was well stocked with everyday things and supermarkets a short pleasant drive away. Black horse pub (300yrs away) serves fantastic pub food of high standards(slightly expensive but worth it). Swimming pools are small but you can hire them for yourself and family for 50 mins for as little as £13 which was great.
With the amount of rain the area had back in june REMEMBER THE FLOODS ON NEWS ETC- the site had a few flooding problems whilst we were there but as I said it rained 10 out of 14 days and our pitch was not really affected but a few people opted for the hard standing areas in caravan area.Local area had good towns and oxford was only 15 mins away using park and ride.
Shower block was clean , plenty of space and always hot water aplenty. Will definitely be going back soon (weather permitting) and I would recommend this site to everyone.

We stayed at Lincoln Farm on our first caravan holiday as it is near to where we live. We had a wonderful time. The site was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The toilets and showers were very clean and pleasant. The park on site was ideal for our two young children. Whilst on site we also took the advantage of booking the pool privately for a family swim - at about £13 we found this to be great value and very enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this site soon - although just a few miles from where we live - we felt miles away and thoroughly enjoyed our break and will be back.
