 Not a bad little site. Caravans in the top field, close to the entrance, and tents at the bottom of the hill.
Facilities are clean and tidy, but a bit of a walk from the caravan field, in my view.
Grey waste and chemical disposal could be a bit better but I've seen worse.
Only one pub/restaurant in the village and a very small shop, nothing on site at all.

We stayed here 10 years ago and enjoyed it then. It was just as enjoyable this time.
All facilities were good.
The campsite was very busy but never felt crowded.
In fact it felt very peaceful. I’m sure we’ll go again……. Before I get too old!

This campsite was amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come and stay for longer next time.
Facilities were great and all other campers friendly!
Really nice location with a good local pub and the old steam in train for a day in Bala.

Lovely site.
Shower and toilet block good, although would benefit from shelving near the hair drier in the ladies to put wash bag whilst drying hair, also the washing machine needs repairing which caused me a problem as there was no sink to hand wash clothes.
The dog walk area is lovely by the river, and the site being in village location it was nice to be able to walk down to the local pub for a pint.
We thoroughly enjoyed the walking and cycling, and a trip on the narrow guauge railway to Bala.
We extended our trip by 2 nights as we enjoyed ourselves so much, and will definitely return.

Beautiful peaceful site. Spacious pitches. Good location. Friendly owner. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Showers would benefit with some stools to sit on when getting dressed. But that’s all!

Stunning location and immaculate facilities
Given the COVID situation this site has everything covered. Neat markers to restrict access to the showers and loos.
We chose no elec hook up and set up beside the river with the sunset right opposite
Showers are excellent and toilets/washing up well spaced along the site
It wasn’t totally full but we stayed an extra night to do more walks round the lake and local area as the weather was so good
No streetlights so the stars were amazing!
Owners are quietly efficient and toilets etc remained clean and replenished throughout
Fantastic spot, right beside the railway station and well thought out layout and facilities
Highly recommend

Great campsite located 10mins drive from Bala and only 15min walk to a good pub and shop in the village.
Site was kept clean and the owners were always around cleaning and helping people!
The non electric pitches were great and campfires are permitted (in raised pits which you could hire) - toilets and showers were kept clean at all times and with a river running next to the site - it made for a very enjoyable stay!
Definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely location, spacious pitches, great facilities and friendly, helpful owners. Despite the pandemic, we had a great few days hiking and paddling. Thank you!
Some of the facilities were closed because of the pandemic (which knew in advance) so I haven’t been able to give 10/10 but everything we used was excellent.

Clean Tidy
Very helpful
Only fault was cars going through the site very fast where it says 5 they going through at 30
But it was a lovely site

Another stop over at Bwch Yn Uchaf. Excellent as always. Good to see ongoing improvements that enahance the site without spoling its essential character.
Customer service v. Good.
Facilities good.
Site condition good.
Location v. Good.
Value for money excellent.
Perfectly acceptable meal in The Eagles in the village.

Clean open site with 2 shower blocks - only used 1 which had 3 showers but there was also a family shower room and a disabled room.
Site has 2 levels - top site is flat and open, lower site is by the river with a few hard standing - these were non electric, ehu area on top level by entrance.
Bala steam rail station right next door which was lovely.
Pub called Yr Eagles bout 10 minute walk with the local village shop - gorgeous meal but you do have to book as it’s very popular. Overall a nice quiet site.

Shower/toilet block is nice and clean. Scenic area and there is plenty of space.
Friendly reception on arrival, with Dogs and fires allowed.
