 Easy access. Good communication.
Had level pitch behind stand with electric.
Toilets and showers clean and hot.
Close to leisure centre and retail park. Alnwick 15/20 mins walk.
Will def go back

Really good site for visiting Alnwick easy walk into town. There is a Sainsburys supermarket 10 - 15 mins walk away and a small shopping centre with a M and S food hall, Next, Mountain Warehouse.
The bus into Alnwick goes from a stop 10mins walk away. Ypu can get an express bus to Berwick upon Tweed at the same stop. Lots of good eateries in Al wick. We ate at Harry's Bistro which was excellent.
The castle and Garden are well worth a visit as is the Museum on Bailiffgate, small but I interesting. There is also. A cinema/theatre in town.
There are toilets and showers. The showers are in a communal changing room - 4 of them with a shower curtain for the showers. Clothes have to be left in the changing room.
The site is on the left hand side and the pitches are quite narrow. There can also be rallies on the fields so it does get very busy at some times of the year. There is a Bar and this sometimes has weddings etc on too.

This is a good level well-presented site with excellent toilets and showers.
Clubhouse open in the evening.
Short walk to M&S Foodstore and bus stop for town.

Excellent location for visiting Alnwick which is about 20 -25 minutes walk away 10 minutes walk to a retail park.
Very quiet nights sleep very clean toilets excellent hot showers.
Friendly staff in the clubhouse but check when clubhouse open.
Would use again for a nice little stop off or short break away.

Pitch around the rugby pitches with or without hookup all fairly level.
Excellent toilet's and shower's lovely hot water.
Club house open certain nights.
Plenty of room for the kids to play.
Short walk into Alnwick.

A great location for visiting Alnwick.
Clean and spacious facilities in the clubhouse.
Walking distance to town.
A busy rugby club with lots going on so a good idea to check if there are any events during your stay.

Recently stayed here and from start to finish the experience was fantastic
Customer service 10/10
Facilities 10/10 - clean toilets, hot and powerful showers
Very quiet and peaceful night sleep
Great location as close to a retail park, big supermarkets and Alnwick town all walking distance
Highly recommend and will certainly be back

Agree with previous reviews, splendid place to stay.
It is first and foremost a rugby club that offers camping
It's not manicured and doesn't have too much in the way a formal set up. Electric pitches are marked out with poles, if you don't need electric you choose a spot around the edge of the field.
Loos / showers are municipal- always spotlessly clean. Showers push button, water hot and there are now hooks outside to hang towels.
The Rugby club is on an estate, M&S food hall, Next, B&M, Sainsbury, Mountain Warehouse, Starbucks, Homebase and Go Outdoors all within a couple of minutes walk. Also a massive leisure centre opposite site.
Took us a leisurely 15 minutes walk to town. Stopped on way at Barter Books - so worth a stop. Fabulous book shop at the old station with model trains running above the book cases, serves coffee, cakes and light meals.
Pitches are £25with electric/ £20 without. They ask you to let them know your are coming if you want electric so they can reserve you a pitch.
All in all we would use again without hesitation.

Lovely campsite next to a rugby pitch.
Toilets and showers are really clean and there’s a bar in the clubhouse which was open when we were there.
We would come again.

Excellent stop over.
Nice and quiet at night friendly locals and staff in the club house in the evening along with very reasonably priced drinks.
Even got to watch the colts in a great game of rugby.

Wow! booked in here for one night after doing the great north run and having stayed at

Great location just a 10/15 min walk to town centre. Supermarkets nearby.
Friendly welcome on arrival and given a double pitch for our 2 vans no issues.
Showers and toilets clean and water lovely and hot but could do with hooks or shelf in shower with a door (even just a half door?) instead of a curtain.
Definitely recommend this site.

Lovely site have come to Alnwick for over 30 years in caravan or tent great place to see Northumberland.
Alnwick offers great places to visit and good places to eat or have a nice drink.
