 Ideal location for easy access into Alnwick old town, 15min walk. Good facilities, clean and tidy.
Pitches not as easily discernable as some but it is a sports club not solely a caravan site.

Great location, 10 min walk from Alnwick centre. Uber cost £5.
Friendly staff. Electric hookups if wanted.
Bar open on a weekend with excellent beers and good price.
Bathrooms spotless and open all night.
Will definitely be back!

We have just stayed here for 5 nights. £25 with EHU. The EHU pitches have room for a caravan and awning parking your car at the front. It felt like other units were a bit too close so spacing things out a bit would be much better.
The toilets and showers are kept open all day and night and are pretty good.
20 minutes walk into town with a good range of shops and bars.
Would recommend and would return.

A very quick reply to email I sent which gave instructions for site arrival and price.
Toilets and showers very good pay at bar or honesty
Box by the showers. Bar open most days.

What a lovely venue, close to the village shops, restaurants and bars.
Close to A1, great site for a stop off on route but also great for a longer stay to visit the area

Pitches on the side of rugby pitches, slight gradient, electric available,
Quiet when I was there, pub on site opened at 5,
Don’t know if there was public transport into Alnwick town, too far for me to walk, I visited the town before the site,
Showers hot but have push button control so continuously pushing button, weather had turned cold outside but shower block nice and warm,

Great location to explore Alnwick - about a 15 minute walk.
Staff really friendly and super helpful.
All you need from facilities though we didn’t use the waste and water.

On arrival had been told by Rugby Club email to find my own spot and pay the next day which I did.
A bit of problem with the electric which was down to me.
The only downside was a gentle hum during the nights, which I never discovered was coming from, could have been the A1.
Very convenient for going into Alnwick though and also had a selection of shops nearby which was useful.

Great location close to the town
Friendly staff in the clubhouse
Great value for money at £25 per night with hook up
Only improvement could be pitch markers and better signage to tell you where to pitch if no one there on arrival.
But apart from that Brilliant !

The Rugby club is a nice place to stay. Good value when compared to some other sites.
The town is within easy walking distance and has a great selection shops, cafés and pubs. The Tanners Arms is particularly good for those seeking real ales.
The pastures parkrun is within walking/jogging distance and well worth a visit.
Alnwick castle is very impressive and worth visiting too.

Had everything we needed and nice walk to the town centre to see the castle and other attractions.
Showers and toilets were clean and tidy.
Just off the A1 but couldn’t here any traffic

We've used this several times now, the closest campsite to Alnwick (about a mile walk to the town). Mostly grass pitches but there are some hardstanding with electric.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets in the rugby club, the usual chemical disposal and water point. There is the clubhouse on site with meals, although we haven't ate there.
Easy walk to a retail park with Sainsburys and a range of other shops including a Go Outdoors in case you need anything for your camping.
Will be staying again in the future. Recommended.

We wanted a stop over for a couple of days within walking distance of the town if possible and this allowed us that.
This is a nice site. Large grass field with or without electric. £20 for no electric is the cheapest we have experienced in 2 months travelling. It is very convenient for the town, various shops, the gardens and castle (20/25 mins)
The people at the clubhouse / reception were very nice and helpful and the facilities were kept extremely clean. Pick your own pitch and everyone was spaced out.
There are only 2 toilets and 2 wash basins, so may be a bit tight if busy in the summer months. There are 4 showers (men’s facilities are pretty much the same apparently ) the showers are at the end of the changing rooms and tiny downside is that there is nowhere to put anything. No hooks or holders, still good hot showers though.
We will definitely be returning again

Plenty of space to park, bar, toilets, showers, waste disposal. Friendly welcome.
Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, pubs, about 1mile. Reasonably priced at £20 for non electric pitch.
Would have been nice to be able to get something to eat on site. But would use again.

A superb place conveniently sited within walking distance of the town and the castle and other attractions but also many shops nearby.
A very friendly welcome at the clubhouse and extremely clean facilities in the changing rooms and toilets/showers etc.
We will definitely be returning again.
