Absolutely brilliant site. A 5 minute walk to a retail park with M&S, B&M. Range and a lovely food store. A 15 minute walk to Alnwick town centre
The site had beautiful clean toilets and showers. Elson point and fresh water point. Plenty of bins for waste and recycling
The site was quiet, other than Tuesday and Thursday when the local women and male rugby teams come to practice. We loved this though. Great to see young people really enjoying themselves in team sports
Honestly box for your money £25 per night with electric hook up. Would highly recommend and will 100% be returning

Toilets nice and clean,
Flat hardstanding pitch though limited spaces, lots of grass pitches,
Friendly people,
Local shops including m and s, morrisons, sainsburys, and a lovely pie shop called turnbulls,
10 minute walk into town,

Great site with toilets and showers (2 cubicle toilets and four showers with curtains and communal changing) plus EHU.
It is quite a long walk as you come out and go left into town with some hills, but just down on the right from the site is a large family pub and retail centre.
When we arrived on the Saturday there was some sort of rally going on with entertainment so it was quite busy, but all ok.
Elsan point is a manhole you open that goes straight into open drain and a bit gross.

Excellent quiet site around rugby pitch. Easy hookup, fresh water, wast water & waste disposal. Very clean toilets and showers.
Club open on selected nights. Very easy and near walk to Alnwick, outstanding 2nd hand book shop, Alnwick castle & Gardens (no need to drive).
Easy and short drive to Bamburgh and other nearby sites and seaside.
Highly recommend this site.

The lady who booked me on site was so friendly and helpful.
The site is so spacious and facilities are very clean.
Well worth a visit.
So close to all amenities, supermarkets and the coast is a few miles away.

Really easy to find and drive on to. Staff very pleasant and because it is a rugby club the facilities were spotless.
Nice grass pitches at the side of the pitch with electric hook up.
20 minutes stroll into Alnwick and the famous second hand book shop.
Would definitely use again and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Great site. Friendly welcome when we arrived.
Good clean facilities and hot water for the pot wash.
Peaceful pitch side location which was peaceful and quiet for our stay.
Nearby Coop convenience store plus supermarkets a mile down the road.
Easy walk into Alnwick and the castle.

If you're looking for exactly what it says on the tin, Alnwick Rugby Club Campsite delivers perfectly, it's a rugby club with motorhomes parked on the practice field!
Ironically, during our stay, rugby was about the only sport we didn't see. Nearby fields were busy with cricket and football, which provided some free entertainment while we relaxed.
The location is excellent, with a straightforward walk down into Alnwick town centre. Alnwick castle, the famous Barter Books, and plenty of shops, pubs, and cafés are all within easy reach.
The site itself was quiet and peaceful, with plenty of space. One small piece of advice: think carefully before parking under the trees. The local birds appear to be exceptionally well fed and seem determined to share the evidence on the roof of your motorhome!
We only stayed for two days and didn't do Alnwick justice, so we'll definitely be back. A simple, convenient, and good-value stopover in a great location. The town deserves another visit, and I suspect the birds are already preparing a fresh welcome package for our motorhome!

Stopped off for 1 night in our self build campervan
Plenty of room on the field for kids to play
Showers and toilets very clean
There is a little retail park 5 minute walk away, ideal to grab little bits, also a coop close by and McDonalds
Overall happy with the nights stay

What a find! Booked non electric pitch for very reasonable £20. I‘ll be honest, when first arrived heart sank as seemed like a few abandoned units but that was just snobbery.
It’s a great place: staff members lovely, easy walk into Alnwick ( 25 mins tops) but if you stop at Barter Books, seems really near. Just make sure you turn left Up the hill out of campsite and go past the co- op, don’t head for M and S down hill, as a lot longer.
Toilets pristine, loved showering in the changing rooms, clean and hot. Just read the clear rules and signs.
All in all, happy and would stay again
