 Very convenient and good value Site, located just off the A1 and available outside the Rugby season (May - September). Pitches are all grass, along the edges of the Rugby pitches (BUT NOT ON THEM). Price was only 25 pounds/night which is great value.
As others have said, Alnwick is only a mile or so away and DSainsurys/M & S are even closer. Toilets and showers are what you would expect from a Rugby Club and are very clean and well set out.

Excellent campsite, in a great location. Facilities were good. Waste disposal, water, showers and toilets. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Clubhouse was nice and welcoming.

£25 with ehu of £20 without - you can’t complain at that. Toilet and showers are basic but very clean.
Touring site is around large rugby practise field next to the main one (so, if you’re lucky you might get to watch a game too).
You have use of the club bar or walk the 1 mile into Alnwick market area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants.
Short walk to a large retail park. Very pleased to have stayed at this site.
Booked two nights, but stayed an extra one.

We love Alnwick and the rugby club site is a great place to stay in order to explore the area.
This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The toilet and shower facilities are great, always clean and available. Being able to use the bar and outside seating area is a bonus.
We’ve visited the rugby club when our team from South Yorkshire played in the same division and my husband chatted to some people in the bar one night while we were staying this time. The field was great for exercising our dog.
The site is really well served with supermarkets, a retail park and a petrol station with good access to the pumps for motorhomes. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in the town centre with the famous Barter Books just 5 minutes from the club site.
Great value for money with friendly and efficient booking procedure. We will be back

Stayed for a couple of nights and it was great wee site. Nice walk into town about 15 mins great location.
Also visited retail park which was great Sainsbury and Marks. Next day we walked to Alnwick Gardens again not far lovely walk.
Site was really good for a couple of nights toilets and showers are spotless basic but nothing to complain about.
Nice staff very helpful as well, we also used the club house and made welcome.
Nice to have somewhere to sit and night after a long day walking about.
Would visit again.

This is the 2nd time we have stopped here as we are new to caravaning so we didn't want to go to far from home
But I must say if you want a relaxing stay to chill out and do nothing but read a book, go for walks, whether it's at the beach or in the countryside, this is the place me and the wife
Love it
Also shops are a in drive and alnwick town centre is a 15min walk away.
Great place to stop, would highly recommend it to anyone. 10 out of 10

Loved our stay at Alnwick rugby club we always have the best weekend can’t wait to go back.
The site is lovely and it’s close enough to walk into Alnwick

Good base for the town centre

Basic site, but good value, clean toilets and showers. 20 minute walk into Alnwick or there is a bus service.
There is a club house open most nights,
There is a Sainsbury close by and a fish and chip shop 10 minute walk away, plenty of pubs and eating places in Alnwick would stay again.

Very clean, no fuss site.
We were able to pitch up quickly as it was very level.
We enjoyed our stay albeit we were only there for one night.
20 mins walk into Alnwick, lots of dog friendly pubs.
Had a great time!

Apprehensive when I booked but it was a great evening.
Good facilities, bar and fun watching the youngsters training.
Staff were very helpful and lots of the campers were regulars or ex players.

Excellent location. Only 5 mins walk to M&S Food.
Easy walk to town centre and there are good pubs for grub. Bar on site.
Showers and toilets were very clean and there's water available and disposal point.

Quiet site and well located for shops and access into Alnwick centre.
Showers and toilets clean.
Good value for money.
Only issue is that it should be made clear that pitch no. is actually the bollard no. which accommodates two units.
