We stayed for one night at a DA meeting. The toilets were reasonably clean, considering a field full of campers. The field was generally level with electric hook ups around the edge.
The railway ran long side the fields but this did not disturb us at night. The wash basins are very close together and it would have been better to have one rather than two in close proximity.
There is a laundry, although we did not use it. The site owners were friendly and helpful, greeting us outside on arrival and so were the Loddon DA members.
Our stay was very comfortable.

I've listed the things on the site as its been listed on this website in their description.
Flush Toilets - The toilets for 2 evening the week that I stayed here couldn’t be flushed as they had no water to them. Find it hard to believe maintenance was being carried out at 2 in the morning.
Showers - The showers weren’t to bad as you got around 6 minutes of shower time for 20p which is reasonable, however the 2 showers I used in the ladies the shower heads were spraying everywhere but were they were meant to as they needed either fixing or replacing and the shower on the far wall closest to the sinks went cold 2 minutes into the shower leaving me to cut the shower short after just less than 4 minutes.
Laundry - I tried to wash my clothes twice during the week I was there using 2 out of the 4 washers and neither washer washed them all they seemed to do was wet them, the staff in the café didn’t seem to care, they didn’t even go and look. At £3 a go for the washer it leaves a lot to be desired. After that run of bad look I refused to even try the driers.
Chemical Waste - Cant say anything about this as I didn’t have to use it.
Shop - The shop was expensive and I’d recommend everyone either walk to the local farm shop or to the co-op down the road.
Café - The Breakfast was good and they do make a god cup of tea.
Play Area - A separate play area for kids is definitely needed.
Electrical Hook-Up - The electric hook up is fine when it wants to work, nearly every morning it blew and the guy who seemed to be looking after it could always be found when there was a problem. Each electric hook up is meant to be 16amp but when they had double sockets connected to them all your only getting 8amp if your lucky
Pets Welcome - Pets are welcome which is true however very little was said to those who’s dog were off the lead .
I also on my visit noticed that the site has a 5mph speed limit restriction which they put up themselves to try and protect children, but yet no one enforced it

Stayed with a group of friends at bank holiday. Very busy site, lots of seasonal/residential caravans.
We liked the laid back attitude of the site, could do with more toilets and showers not much hot water. And a bit more care in the cleaning of the facilities including the elsan, but reasonable priced, flat ground, local shops/pubs nice walks close by.
Railway line behind us but after the first morning it didn't really bother us. Electric hook ups were a bit random, but served the purpose.
A very large site, cheap and cheerful.

We went last weekend with East Sussex on a rally and really liked the sit. Toilets on rally field very clean, good cut grass and flat. Nice walk to Bosham. I am trying to book the field for my 65th birthday bash with all the family. Trains didn't worry us as the line is one of the new type with no joins. For our first visit we had no complaints and will use the site again and we have told our fellow members of our rally club (West Surrey)

I’ve just stayed there for four days and as others have said this is a pleasant no frills site with friendly owners. The Co-op and a farm shop are just a stones' throw away and Tesco Express is a 15-minute walk as is Southbourne railway station. There is also a caravan shop just down the road. However there are many 'permanent' caravans and their work vehicles.

We stayed here for two nights in a tent.
The site is in a decent position on the main road between Chichester and Portsmouth. Easy access to both.
A railway runs down one end of the site, so advisable to pitch at the other side for two reasons. The other being that the ground was very hard and we gave up trying to put pegs into the ground on the railways side.
A small supermarket was about 150 yards from the camp.
The camping field was big, plenty of room, showers, toilets and washing facilities clean, but not really enough of them. No wash basin for washing up.
I reckon the field was once concrete and has been turfed over as the grass seemed only 3 inches deep.
Having said that. We enjoyed it and would return.

Nice campsite with clean, decent facilities. A choice of tent fields which are flat and open spaced. The tourers seemed to have less space between them. A train line runs by one of the fields. As there are no designated pitches for tents there seemed to be quite a few large groups of multiple families. There was lots of space for the kids to play. A clubhouse on site was convenient for a drink at night. There is also a small cafe and you can buy milk. A Tesco Express was about 5 mins drive away. It's convenient for visiting places and a stopover for the ferry but I don't think we'd stay longer than a weekend.

Excellent campsite site, plenty of room to pitch where we wanted to. Reasonable prices, toilets & shower facilities very clean. Could possibly do with a pot washing area in the tent field.
Word of warning though the ground is very hard so make sure you take strong metal pegs as the plastic ones tend to break.
Will certainly be returning this summer.

A very flat well drained site, grass cut regularly, for a weeks holiday a family could save over £50 compared to the Caravan & Camping Club site next door.
We were not very happy with the spaces between units, especially if the 'vans used awnings, at one time we could virtually touch the awning of the van next door through our lounge window, and splitters were used to accommodate the 'squashed' in vans and splitters were also used in the middle of the field
Toilets and showers were very clean, but not enough of them for the size of the site and the amount of people using them. The elsan was filthy and stunk to high heaven.
Some irresponsible dog owners let there pooches off the leads and let them wander, unfortunately this wasn't corrected by the site owner. There's a cafe on site, we didn't get chance to use it, but it also doubles up as reception. There are no set times for arriving or leaving, which was ideal so there was no rushing about on the morning we left.
Ideal if you have a motor home or don't want to use the car, there's a bus stop right outside on both side of the road to take you as far as Brighton and Portsmouth, ideal for a day trip to the Isle of Wight.
The pub next door has been taken over by a lovely family, who serve meals from 12 noon until 11pm, reasonably price, they are looking to serve breakfasts from 8am and take a ways in the evening. An excellent farm shop in walking distance, together with a Co-op and a chemist, a railway station and a small Tesco about 15 mins walk, a chinese takeaway and a chinese restaurant all in easy reach of the site. Would we go again, maybe when the site isn't so busy

Our visit was the Mayday bank holiday, so we were advised to book. No deposit required.
Reception friendly but a bit difficult to find. I ended up driving in to the reception area which is a dead end. Had to reverse back out through the gate on to a road, so better signs would help.
The main facilities block held (for men) 3 WC's, 2 urinals and 3 showers. All facilities were clean and tidy. 20p in the shower which gave ample time to to complete the shower. There was a new facilities block in the 3rd field, which again for men had one WC, 2 urinals, 2 basins and 1 shower. Facilities were clean but rather cramped. There was a rally going on in the 3rd field so there were queues for the facilities.
The shortage of facilities for the whole site is our only criticism.
We didn't try the cafe, shop or on-site bar.
The site is spacious and you can pitch pretty much where you want. Plenty of room for kids to run around.
The local pub is dire but there are plenty of others either a short walk or car ride away.
There is a massive Tesco nearby and a Caravan dealer is also very close, ideal for that forgotten or broken item. Very pleasant walks from the campsite around the Chichester harbour and estuary. Chichester centre is quite close with easy parking quite close to the centre. Further afield is Portsmouth with Gunwharf Quay for the complete shopping experience. Portsmouth's Historic Docks are a must for new visitors.
Would I go again? Probably. It was £8 per night cheaper than the C&CC site on the other side of the hedge!
