We were pleasantly greeted by Billy, shown directions to our "spac"

The site is nicely located by the beach, cafe caravan, pizza van on some evenings,

The shower area, a toilet were clean though a little tired.

All in all a pleasant stay,

Close enough to walk to Seaford town etc.

Great pitch, stones throw from the beach.

Reception very helpful, washrooms and showers clean and tidy. Dog friendly.

Close to Eastbourne and Newhaven on a bus route to Brighton

This was our fourth stay at this site and was as enjoyable as the others.

No bells & whistles but the location is fantastic,

Shower block clean and great showers.

Easy walk into Seaford, which is a nice town. Seconds from the beach.

Will certainly be back.

The location is great; right next to the beach with easy access. No sea view due to flood defences! Long promenade to walk to the town which has several pubs/eateries and shops including Morrissons and a Co-op.

The site itself is either work in progress or just relying on great location to make you return as it is very basic;not a pretty site where you would sit and relax.

The shower/toilet block was cold, water pressure low and although shower areas were quite spacious didn't use as too cold!

There is a large grass area attached to site which is designated for tents but was empty so good place to let the dogs off lead.

The Galley which is part of the neighbouring boat club, open to non members serves food and drink eat in or takeaway reasonably priced and good. There is also caravan serving food and drink by site and beach but this was closed as early season.

The local train is a short walk from the site and goes to Brighton £5. 50 return and good way to see the countryside. Dogs allowed on trains.

If you just need a base close to amenities with nice walks and close proximity to the beach, shingle, then this one will do the job.

We only met the owner on arrival so difficult to rate customer service

We had electric hook up and the pitch was gravel some grass pitches available not sure if these were electric hook up. There were no play areas for children but the shingly beach is on the doorstep.

I do feel in comparison to other sites that the £30 per night low season was quite high due to lack of facilities on site, and the dated shower block.

Overall we felt or hoped like it was work in progress and more would be done to make it more attractive so sitting outside with a good book would be an option! again with the beach right there.

 Hi,

I am a solo traveller with a motorhome. Visited the camp site mid october. Had a couple of really stormy nights but the site is a bit sheltered from the wind so managed to get through the night.

The owners were very accommodating and allowed me to extend one night at the last minute and also check out a little later as we waited for the winds to calm.

The facilities are clean. Great location for visiting the small town of seaford and a lovely beach walk.

Very accommodating even we booked few hours before arrival.

Suggestions: its more nicer if there’s a water outlet in the tent area. It’s a bit far to main source.

We enjoyed the location of the site.

Very quiet over night.

Easy access to the beach.

Pleasant sea front walk to shops and restaurants in Seaford.

Facilities could do with a bit more attention.

A lovely clean and very friendly site.

All the staff were very hospital.

The young man that works in the cafe is an absolute star and knows a thing a two about customer service.

Will be back

Wonderful location with access straight on to the beach, although it isn't really a beach for young children.

Good walks straight from the site and the town is within easy walking distance and very nice with lots of independent shops.

Facilities good and clean. Will visit again.

Lovely location right near the beach.

Not busy. Clean loos and showers, showers nice and hot.

Friendly staff very nice people.

Couldn't put tent up on day one strong winds. Given a refund straight away. We came back the next day after the bad weather had passed. Had three nights.

One thing you will need is very very good earplugs. The train that passes frequently is very loud. Finishes late starts early.

Lovely campsite almost a stone throw from the beach. It felt like a true home-run business, almost like stepping into an Enid Blyton book.

There was a deposit of £10 for an entry fob that we weren't told about but otherwise it was great.

The facilities were empty and very clean with no issues.

There was plenty of space to camp and we had full choice of where to pitch, also some picnic tables that were very useful.

Also a charming little train passed by that gave it a real studio Ghibli feel, a little loud at night along with the fog horns but we were fine.

Would definitely recommend as a spot to get to the seven sisters, Eastbourne and Brighton.

We booked in for a last minute short getaway and loved the place.

Very helpful and friendly people who went above and beyond.

Will be booking a lot of trips here in future.

Right on the beach.

Fantastic.

Many Thanks. Jon and Mandy
