Just had a lovely weekend at this camp site the toilet block was heated and spotlessly clean, the shop was quite well priced and we brought a few bits we needed, they also have a cafe and take away service which is also a good price. The reception was friendly, but they weren't always there, but there is a mobile no. At all times, the entrance is operated by a coded card with large gate and is very secure indeed, there was no restriction our coming and goings, only between 11pm and 7am when they ask you not to move your vehicles and that's fare enough. We had a lovely pitch, level and water free, the weather was bad so didn't go out much, just the way I like it.

There is a large Tesco about 5 miles away and a nearer petrol station that is also a co-op shop.

The surrounding area is leafy and quiet, along a small road off the main road, you could hear some traffic but not enough to spoil the weekend.

We will definitely be going there again I cant wait for the summer :-)

We visited this site for a weekend away and felt we had to leave a review ourselves after reading some of the recent comments.

The facilities in one of the blocks were dated but kept scrupulously clean and well heated. The new toilet block was modern and also very clean.

The on-site shop had all the basics you could need or might forget when camping. We didn't visit the local shops or pub but there were plenty of footpaths to go walking close to the site.

The site warden was very friendly and helpful especially when our van wouldn't start the next day because of a flat battery. They lent us a power-pack to start the engine and when that didn't work used their car to jump-start it.

All in all it was a nice campsite and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. We will go back again.

Overall a good site. Although I must say if you own a dog, this is not an ideal site for you as they have no dog walking area at all.

The pitches were big, however you feel you are packed in a bit like sardines. A good site if you are holidaying in groups.

The toilets were cleaned regularly however they were not short of cobwebs during our stay and the mens toilet window was permanently open, bit embarrassing.

Shop could do with being open more hours, as well as reception, as no one available after 5pm except for emergencies.

Just returned from a weekend at Honeybridge Park.

Lovely site which is well presented and very clean. All hard standing pitches made with shingle so can still get pegs in and with generous space for awnings etc. Toilets/showers - we were near the older block which were very clean but 'older' but absolutely fine. On the other side of the park (but only a couple of minutes stroll) is a very new block which is superb. Again spotlessly clean with virtual powershower quality with own cubicle and drying area.

Good children's play area; activity room a little dated but didn't use to be honest. Shop was adequate but don't expect to buy your whole week's provisions there!

We found the staff very helpful and a pleasure to meet.

In terms of surrounding area, the local pubs are a short drive away - not really easy walking distance (apparently!). Lots to do in nearby places. I suppose the only slight item to be aware of is that there is a road close to one side of the park but to be honest we were on that side and it didn't trouble us or the children at all. Site security is also good with electronic gates. Great weekend had and happy to recommend!

We used this site as we had just purchased a new tent and wanted a site that was local to home in case the wife decided camping wasn't for her!

When we arrived the staff were very helpful and they even showed us to our pitch, a service offered to all. Superb clean and modern facilities.

Fantastic playground for the kids which our daughter really enjoyed. Only downfall we found was the office/shop is only open 9-5. A fantastic site will be returning very soon.

This is a nice kept site. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful. The ground is very hard but the pitches were edged with a small hedge which was great.

2 down points are 1) The mens toilet window was always open giving a great view of the mens urinal to everyone and

2) our pitch was about 20 feet away from a new part of the site being developed hence JCB noise all day. My partner and myself were quite amazed to see a girl of no more than 12 yrs old driving her grandads Jeep Cherokee around the site !

I must say in all my years camping the toilets/showers are probably the best I have ever used. Both clean and modern. There is not much around with out driving but the site shop was adequate. Will definitely return.

Decide to stay here after hearing family and friends rave about it and have to say despite torrential bank holiday weather we had a great time.

The campsite was spotless and the toilets/showers matched this, especially the new block. The added bonus of a family bathroom with its own bath and shower is great.

There is a great kids playground which is pretty much central to the campsite and you can watch your kids play why you stay at your tent.

We didn't venture out from the campsite but apparently there are a few decent pubs nearby.

I would recommend this site to anyone.

Very nice site with good facilities.

We had a hard standing pitch which was of a good size.

Shop stocks all essentials, but if you do like to keep up with news then you will need to order a paper. It would be nice to know when you arrive that papers are only available if you order them the day before (small gripe done).

Nice play area situated in middle for the kids (though could do with slight TLC as some fixtures are missing.

The site is situated off the busy A24 but do not let this put you off as you can not see or hear it but you would have to travel by car to find further shops if you did not pack your essentials.

Staff very friendly and site kept very clean, would def. Recommend.

Pleasant enough staff on arrival, although I was kind of left to figure out exactly where our pitch was on my own!

The site itself is clean and tidy with nice facilities, and in a reasonably quiet location.

We felt it`s an ideal place for those with older children but may be a bit too 'busy' for families with young ones who need to get to sleep earlier.

A couple of points to bear in mind though.

It would be nice to know exactly where your pitch is. The map / information leaflet could be a bit more informative for those pitching tents.

The toilets are cleaned from 11am to 3pm so the toilets etc don`t get cleaned first thing in the morning from the night before.

The bins were full by 11am on Sunday when people are packing up, (there didn't appear to be any re-cycling either)

The camp shop is only open from 9am to 5pm.I would have thought it may be more use to be open first thing in the morning and then till 7 or 8 pm at night may be of more benefit to people.

All in all a clean and pleasant enough site. A bit too 'busy' for my liking. But that may suite others.

Just back from this lovely site, for our first outing of 2010! Nice sized pitches. Great shower and toilet facilities, one newer block and one older block, both lovely and clean, and pleasantly warm on this past cold weekend (nights) one of our party commented that they were Caravan club standard!

Great play area for the kids, (none with us though)!

Nice pub within walking distance in Dial Post, lovely looking menu!

Booking to go back in a few weeks!

Although our pitch was a bit uneven, Honeybridge is a great, clean, well kept site. Our pitch overlooked the children's play area which meant we could relax and keep an eye on the little princess.

The shower blocks were clean (as were all facilities)with plenty of good sized shower cubicles and separate basin cubicles - Hot water always available.

This was our first trip in our Conway so it was a great intro to camping for us.

This is a really lovely site, definitely one for families!

The site itself is small, which I loved. The main tent arrangement is in a quad shape surrounding a large woodchipped park for the children.

I took my three children, aged 7, 4 and 2, on my own! I was really blessed to be helped by other campers to erect my tent, and the design of the site was wonderful in that my children played in the park whilst I erected the tent, all the while I could watch them!

The toilet facilities are small, modern, clean and all that is needed for a site of this size! There is a fridge that is communal and a washing up, laundry room! The shop on site is well stocked with food, drink, kids toys and wine!

As a family we found the site to be great, everything you need right there, and small enough that it still had that friendly/safe feeling!

The only downside I can find is location, in that you cant walk anywhere from the site, everything has to be got to by car. Saying that, if you stay here a must visit id Southwater country park, which has lovely walks, a great park and a lake that is beached for swimming and paddling! Me and my children loved it! Free parking too!

Stopped over for just the one night while travelling to south coast. Being early in the year the site was quite quiet, but going by the standard of the site it looks like it would be very popular in the summer. All in all I found the site very relaxing and the staff very kind. The surrounding area is nice and there's some nice country pubs not so far away plus some local shop for the odd knick-knack. Its also not too far a drive to local attractions etc.

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this excellent, well run and beautifully situated campsite. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. Our pitch was lovely, very spacious and well screened with high hedges, good firm hardstanding despite the recent very wet conditions. Everything was spotless, the toilet/shower block warm and welcoming. Games room with TV/videos (take a chair).

Campsite is in pretty woodland surroundings. There was a little road noise from A24 but didn't bother us during our stay. We'll definitely be back. Loads to go and see within 15 miles in any direction of the site so was well placed for us. We can't judge what it would be like in high summer or over a bank holiday, but it felt very open and spacious when we were there. There's a children's play area which looked good; we don't have kids so didn't test it.

If you have a TomTom satnav, beware if navigating by postcode as the satnav will try to take you some three quarters of a mile too far. When you come off the A24, the campsite is less than 100 yards down the lane. Look out for a right turn shortly after the plant centre - you should be able to see the caravans and campsite sign, if you look at the road and not your satnav!

We tried out this site for a long weekend. So that's two eight year old boys, two 12 year old girls and four 30 something adults, one football playing Border Collie.

The reception was not the most welcoming but it was a busy bank holiday weekend so I'll forgive them that.

After pitching in a well spaced out mostly flat area opposite the playground we lost the eight year old boys to the sea saw and sand pit, that is where they stayed for most of their time, they clearly loved the playground.

We found a lovely walk through the woods if you take a right just after you come out of the campsite, so the dog was kept happy.

There is a shop on site but a better stocked garage shop just 5 mins along the busy A24 prices as normal, so the men had their beer and they were happy.

Our 12 year old girls were not so impressed with the games room, it seemed that other children had broken most of the games so they couldn't enjoy it properly.

If you do visit this campsite a must is a trip to The Green Man pub at the nearby Partridge Green, the best Sunday Lunch ever and the dog was welcome in the garden.

The only disappointment was that there are only four showers in each amenity block, we had to get up early to avoid the queue!
