Told about this campsite by friends & it's Fantastic place! very organised, very roomy clean utilities (no queueing for showers) & shop well equipped. We are new to camping but the staff at Honeybridge Park made us feel relaxed and at ease. The camp makes u feel safe with the security gates & pitches are arranged in a way that even when busy u don't feel overcrowded. The kids playground was great but didn't see our much of our daughter. I had been to my fathers funeral the day we were due to arrive, they were very understanding and let us arrive the next morning. A great place to get away & chill out will DEFINITELY go again & recommend the park to friends.

Lovely, lovely, lovely, what more can I say. This is the first real holiday I've had with my family in years due to being aggoraphobic. I know this may sound silly after what I've just said but this site is soooooo big and spacious and beautifully set out that I look around in awe and not in panic! The staff are lovely and do everything they can to help. At the beginning I was a bit anxious because I thought that with the barriers down of a night I may not be able to leave if I really wanted to but they told me that it was fine to park just outside and that was the last I thought about it. The toilets are spotless, the showers are spotless, the takeaway is open on friday and saturday and the pizzas are full of cheese so don't try eating a whole one to yourself, (I've tried, you can't!) ,and as for other campers who wrote saying they didn't like it for one reason or another, like noise (i notice on the whole the ones who complained were in tents) then you must either very hard to please or very unlucky because we've been here twice and will certainly be back again.

What a brilliant campsite! Staff were so helpful and there was lots of information available about local attractions. Children spent ages playing table tennis and liked the play area. Everything was spotless. Toilets, washing up room, laundry room etc regularly cleaned throughout the day. We were pitched right next to the new amenities block and it was really convenient to store our cold and frozen things in the fridges and freezers. (Make sure you take a permanent marker to write your name on everything) The block was lovely and warm, great if you had to get up in the night for the loo! Showers were pure luxury- plenty of space inside the cubicles and good powerful water flow! The shops on site were really handy with reasonable prices and even slush puppies for the children! Will certainly return as soon as we can.

This was our first family camping holiday and we were very impressed. I hope all sites are this friendly and well organised. The facilities are excellent - clean, free, hot showers, water. The shops are well stocked and the staff were super. The play area is great for children - especially as it's in the field with the tents. We will certainly be back. Good range of pitches with or without ehu's, hard standing etc. Lovely countryside location.

We have just returned from a week at Honeybridge with our 2 children and I have to say that we wont be returning.
We had a pitch next to a gravel path which led to the toilet / shop block and meant that 24 hours a day you would be disturbed by the noise of people going back and forth, with very little privacy because it is so exposed.
It appeared that most people around us had decided to bring their dogs so you could count on them barking every time someone walked up the path due to the crunching noise, obviously lots of children playing which is fine except that our pitch was also opposite the playground with the zip line ride in use until late at night so you also had that noise to contend with.
All in all not the relaxing atmosphere you would choose when you decide to go camping, in fact due to the arrival of several people in caravans you would generally choose to avoid if you met them in the street who decided to have loud drunken shouting matches at 2 am it became intolerable so we left early.
It appeared to me that if I had taken my tent to the nearest "chav" council estate and set up camp it would have been a very similar experience, very displeased not to be recommended.

Have just returned from a 5 night stay here. What a fantastic campsite. We were on an electric hook up pitch in the west field. Huge pitch size and great lighting on the electric hook ups so you can find your way easily to the loo at night without a torch. There is a relatively new amenities building on this side of the campsite with fantastic and clean toilets, showers and wash cubicles. There are 2 shops, one for food and drink (including beer and wine!) the other for camping gear. There is also a takeaway which although we did not use this the prices were very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and always smiling. There are picnic tables / benches available to use - free of charge, what a great idea! Also you can rent fridges at quite a low cost. There are fridges and freezers for all to use in the dish washing area - just label your stuff and leave it there. Wonderful playground - zip line a huge hit with my girls (aged 6 and 9 years). Also the games room excellent - pool table, table tennis, darts and TV with video - with a large selection of videos to watch. Here they also have huge notice boards with all the local info on. Loads to do nearby - we walked and cycled away from the campsite with ease and even got lost in the woods - finding our way with our trusty compass. Very dog friendly too - dog walks next to the campsite - Zoe had a great time - woof woof! Overall 10/10 for this site, can't fault a thing other than the great british weather - will definitely return!

We have just returned from 4 days at Honeybridge Park. We can not fault it. It is a great site with or without children. They seem to have thought of everything. There are 2 shower blocks which were immaculate at all times. There are washing facilities, fridge and freezers 'free' to use and they also had the option of hiring a fridge delivered to your pitch. The kids park was lovely, with swings, climbing frame and a 'zip' wire ride. The shop was well stocked and all the staff were lovely and friendly. The takeaway operates on fridays and saturdays and the food was lovely. We were on pitch 104 opposite the play park facing west so we could sit in the sunshine watching our children playing.bliss! We would recommend this site it is excellent!

Was an ok site but very busy when we visited on a Friday. We were very close to neighbouring tents and had problems with the group camping next door. Mainly being they stayed up till 12.30am shouting and screaming and swearing their heads off (this was just the kids) also riding their bikes around the campsite. It is supposed to be quite after 11pm (which is quite late if you have tired little ones) so I was disappointed that nothing seemed to be done to stop them untill after 12am. Also toilets were clean on the Friday on arrival but Saturday Morning there was dirt all over the shower floor and a thick wad of hair dirt etc all left in the drain in the shower I used. I don't know if this was an especially busy time which is what caused the problems but we definitely won't be going back because of the lack of sleep and because of how close together the tents were.

What a lovely site, spotlessly clean with wonderful finishing touches such as freezers and fridges in the washing up rooms which were free to use and heated floors in the showers. The staff were very helpful (offering advice to an all female camping crew and help!) a really lovely take away which was cheap and had huge portions.it has a very well thought out play area in the centre of one of its two fields so you can see the children from most of the pitches and a quieter field for those without kids. It has a small but well stocked shop. This really is a five star camp will most definitely go back

What a fantastic site, the staff could not have been more helpful if they tried, the campsite shops were stocked with enough goods to avoid taking loads of food and it was all reasonably priced. The toilet blocks were clean at all times. We will definitely be visiting this site again and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and everyone.

As first time campers we found the site excellent!. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The pitches are a good size and the facilities were very clean and well maintained throughout the day. Nice little shop if you need anything well stocked. Childrens play area is large and there is also a little games room for the older ones!. Would use again and recommend to anyone with or without children.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay. It was our 1st camping trip . The site was fantastic, immaculate facilities, great disabled toilet / shower room. The shops were very well stocked and they had a take away which we didn't try, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced. The wardens were very helpful, and delivered a full size fridge to our pitch which we had hired. The play area was very good and kept the kids amused, but the downside was that we were pitched right next to it and some kids were still playing, screaming and shining lights in it up until 11 pm on some nights, which made it very hard to settle my kids down. Overall an excellent site, would definitely go again.

Very well organised site with excellent facilities and a fantastic playground for the kids. A couple of things we noticed while we were there - There are communal fridges and freezers in the dish washing room in the new block which was useful for keeping milk etc cool. (Bring a marker pen to label your stuff). Also, I felt sorry for the people on the pitches next to the gravel path leading to the toilets. It was 'crunch crunch crunch' all night long so try and avoid these if you can. 9/10

Just got back from my third visit to Honeybridge was most disappointed. When we arrived on site we were shown to our pitch by a young lad who told us exactly where we should pitch. We were pitched far too close to our neighbours, as we lay in our tent we listened to them talk to 2am. They were not talking particular loud we were just too close to them, unfortunately they used the very small hedge that divided the pitch as a toilet, which sounded as if they were weeing up against the tent. We thought by paying for an expensive site £25 a night (for 2 adults , 3 children a very small tent and a gazebo) we thought somebody would have walked around the site between 11-12 at night to check everything was OK, they used to. The last straw was Sunday morning at 7.15am when there was no toilet roll anywhere in the ladies to be found. I had to wonder across the park to find a park attendant to rectify the situation. This used to be a good clean site, but with lack of cleanliness and attention to the toilets and the ever-increasing charges for different things, we will not be returning.

We've just returned from a weeks stay here. Undoubtedly there are lots of good things about this site which people have already covered, however I would just like to add a few comments. This site has schizophrenia. Midweek it was quiet and virtually empty. Weekends it's full of groups of campers and kids having a whale of a time, is very noisy and goes on till late (3am in one case). The wardens are friendly but I can't say I saw any attempts to settle the site when 11pm came round. Apparently it's like this the whole time during school holidays. If hustle, chaos and noise isn't your thing ask for a pitch round the edge of the east field when you book - you'll still be able to get some peace and quiet (unlike us, we ended up in the middle by the playground.)
