Great site - spent last weekend here. Quality facilities & site in great condition. Pitched right opposite the children's play area, which was great for my two kids - who ran themselves ragged. Toilets/showers were superb. Really cannot find anything negative to say about this site. Go there

We are new to camping and this is the first site we visited and I think we were really spoilt! Excellent facilities, nice clean toilet, shower block and nice well equipped shop with nice take away. Children's area kept my two boys busy. Hope all campsites are as good as this!

We have just got back from our visit and I can say that it was very, very nice. We arrived late (after a last-minute booking) but the staff were very friendly and so helpful. Play area for the children is excellent, shop is brilliantly stocked, toilets and showers so clean and warm. We will be visiting again and taking our friends with us!

Excellent campsite for families who want the woodland and not the highlife, they stand no truck from rowdy campers / caravaners. The utilities are kept extremely clean and tidy, showers, Baths! family room, all in all all you could possibly want. Food from take away is excellent, cooked as you order, not hanging around for ages. prices in shop are very reasonable. Pitches are mostly level. Very helpful and courteous. had a wonderful weekend here. Will definitely return! They do New Years Eve as well!

This is the best campsite I've used in 11 years and I'm fussy so praise like this is well-earned ! The site was busy (BH Weekend) but really clean and calm, and well monitored by the Wardens - who did actually operate a noise curfew of 11pm which is great when you've got 2 young children who need their sleep.

The toilets and showers were spotless and we never queued. The shop was the best I've seen , you could easily have bought a week's shop there plus they did toys games and camping eqpt .
There was a lovely central play area and the whole site had a friendly relaxed feel .

It's a shame we only live half an hour away but we will definitely use it again for a relaxing weekend with friends !

We have been to lots of campsites over the last couple of years. This is one of the best. The showers were immaculate and we didn't queue for them at all over the whole weekend.

We felt that the children were able to wander to the shop or toilets on their own.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had our friends with us, who were first time campers. They will definatley be camping again soon.

I dont have much to add to the reviews that have already been submitted. However there are a couple of aspects that mean we wont be returning soon. If you book a pitch for the weekend you are expected to vacate the pitch by 12 midday on Sunday. Its a bit of cheek really at £18 a night if you dont get down there till late afternoon, on the Friday, as I suspect most folk would. I saw the staff being quite sniffy about a lady who didnt realise. Also the A24 traffic noise is quite intrusive. This site has some very nice touches (the shop is excellent) but doesnt quite meet the mark.

Our second visit to Honeybridge in somewhat warmer weather!
This time the site was quite crowded with lots of yelling children. The aerial runway was also extremely popular which meant that it took some time before my children got a go. The play area was used right up until 8.30/9pm each night so don't get a pitch near it if you want a quiet evening!
The wardens are still very helpful and the pitches are well kept. The shower blocks were also clean despite the heavy use over the weekend. they still have the horrible "push button" showers and the mirrors in the old block are only suitable for very small people!.
The shop was open till 8pm each evening and was well stocked including an off licence - all reasonably priced. The family room consisting of bath shower and toilet is still a must if you have little ones although be prepared to wait for it at busy times.
Overall still a good site but getting very popular and busy as a result.
Not the place to go if you want peace and quiet!

We went to this site fairly recently and were most impressed. Upon arrival you are allocated a pitch and a warden makes sure you are settled in and comfy (useful for a novice reverser like me!). Play area was excellent with a large aerial runway which our children loved. The new block is superb with a very well stocked shop, take away and off licence.

Toilet facilities are good, the only gripe being that the showers are the horrible push button type i.e the shower stops when you are still covered in soap. One big bonus for us was the family room although this was at extra cost (£2 per night) it consist of a large room with shower (normal type!) bath and toilet - ideal for keeping the kids in check and well worth the money. The dog walk area is small wooded and unfenced - not really suitable if you have a very active dog.

Overall a great site but me thinks it could get very busy in the summer!

Just got back from a great weekend despite the weather (torrential rain and thunder storms). This site was great. Very clean and well looked after. The new shower block is spotless and the large shower cubilcles a welcome change. The shop is excellent and very well stocked.
We booked here by accident and really fell on our feet. The kids spent most of their time flying kites and on the play area. We will definately be using this site for short breaks as it is under an hour away from us.Only one small criticism - some traffic noise from the A24 can be heard from the east field but it wasn't invasive.

First time camping for a week with one 11 year old.. what can I say but great park. Well stocked shop (closed about 8pm though) take away, with varied menu. New toilet / shower block, fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryer and wirly lines..
Camp site appeared full but did not have to wait to use showers. Could also hire a fridge.
Helpful staff showed you to the pitch and wardens always on hand if needed.. well worth a visit..

Just returned from a very pleasant weekend at this lovely site. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and will assist with parking the caravan if necessary. The toilet facilities are very good, especially the new block which has an electronic code to enter Therefore no children playing in them during the day!
Although the site was full at the weekend, there was no sense of noise or overcrowding as the pitches are well spaced out. Some hardstandings for caravans. Thoroughly recommend this site for all kinds of campers, tent and caravan.

Thought I would post this as there have been some changes since the last postings, as mentioned below a second amenity block was being built in the second field, this is now completed and like the first block is absolutely spotless, lovely showers and hairdryers (both free).
They have also built a new shop, much bigger and better stocked than the old one, even has a slush puppy machine which the kids love!!!
Also new is the takeaway, nice basic menu, cooked to order, fab kids menu, with their faves - nuggets, fish fingers, sausages etc with chips, beans or coleslaw and a drink for £1.50!!
Also have an off licence (my fave new addition) very competetive prices, cheaper than asda!!Definately worth visiting - lovely little site.

Very well kept park. Not particularly 'natural' looking but lots of plants and trees around.

Facilities in the new block are equal to some hotels we have seen! Shop and takeaway on site (although we didn't try the latter).

Large and well equipped play area set on woodchip. This can be seen from all pitches in the central field. There is a sand pit for little ones but most of the wooden structures are best suited to older children. Plenty of space to kick a ball etc though.

We took our dog and there is a 'wood' to walk in opposite the site entrance. Note this is a very small area so if your dog is very active this would not suit!

Will visit again.
