 Why has there been no reviews on here since 2004? The site was full with a rally from EKC caravan club. We met people who had been returning for 15 years from Scotland!
Anyway really good site. Regularly cleaned facilities. Nice clubhouse with good entertainment. Small games room. Small but adequate pool (warm). Pleasant surroundings. Ideally placed for exploring the west country. Trip to Polzeath is a necessity! Pitches are sloping but should be able to level most vans. If I had any criticism it would be the charge of 20p for hot water to do handwashing! And the splash side pictured on their website only opening for 2 seperate hours per day! I'd give the site overall a generous 7 out of 10

Been to this site for the second year running, nice quiet site, nice amenities, was pitched near the play area v nice for kids, though we had to move our tent the first yr was a bit sloppy and got v muddy down the end apart from that a nice site. Kids enjoyed the pool, two min drive to town nice shops and not far from local beaches.

Two of us stayed in a Tent, mid season. The pitch was fine, albeit slightly rocky on one side of our tent (probably best to check before pitching tent). Swimming pool is small but refreshing, the facilities are fine, with good pressure showers and constant hot water. The washing up area was great although the hot water was a bit too hot! Shop prices were reasonable and adequately stocked. Wadebridge is a 2 minute drive (short walk) which has some more shops open quite late (10 -11 PM). Staff were friendly and very helpful.
It's a quiet site (in July) with an excellent postion for going to many attractions in Cornwall, i.e The Eden Project, Polzeath, Newquay, Padstow, Bodmin and of course hire some bikes and ride the camel Trail!
All considered, We'd go back again.

Pleasant site with pool, play area, shop, showers etc. All facilities were a little "tired" - not that my children complained.
Well placed for Polzeath, Padstow etc.
