 Well what can I say, absolutely beautiful site, most definitely tranquil (kept bobbing off was so peaceful) immaculately kept, impeccable toilet and shower facilities and of course great fishing for the hubby, kept him from under my feet??
It certainly shows the hard work that Tracy, Neil and the team put in.
Can’t wait for our next visit and Thankyou for making our stay so wonderful. David & Janet

From our initial enquiry through to departure, Tracy, Neil, and the entire Grooby Pits team made everything seamless and stress-free. We were treated with warmth, respect, and professionalism throughout our stay, and felt genuinely valued as guests.
The pre-arrival information was exceptional, with comprehensive instructions that made the journey and arrival process straightforward and worry-free.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were promptly shown to our pitch. All on-site facilities and fishing regulations were clearly explained, allowing us to settle in quickly and comfortably.
Throughout our 10-day stay, every member of the team remained friendly, approachable, and helpful.
The information pod is an excellent resource, providing details on local attractions and activities, as well as practical amenities including a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board.
There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available at the information pod. While coverage across the site can occasionally be variable, this is understandable given the rural location and did not detract from our overall experience.
The bathroom facilities were immaculate and exceptionally well maintained, with the thoughtful addition of softly playing music creating a relaxing atmosphere.
We appreciated the site's approach to electricity usage. The meter was preloaded with the agreed amount of £1 per night, and purchasing additional credit was simple. The overall cost for electric during stay was very reasonable, and we liked the transparency of only paying for what we used.
One member of our party is a keen angler and was delighted with both the number and quality of fish caught during our stay. In fact, he achieved his personal best catch weight in the UK.
The site prides itself on peace and tranquillity, and it certainly delivers. There was virtually no noise throughout our stay, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy our surroundings.
Departure day was just as smooth as our arrival. A quick text message to let the team know we were ready to leave was all that was needed. They were promptly at the gate to open the barriers and double gates, even taking the time to wave us off on our journey home.
We cannot recommend this site highly enough. You do not need to be a fisherman to appreciate everything it has to offer. If you are looking for peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional hospitality, you will certainly find it here.
We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We have been going to this site for the last 5 years 1of the most relaxing sites we have personally been on, peace and quiet came in bag fulls.
Local amenities close by, skegness 20 minutes drive tesco, morrisons lidl spoilt for choice.
Superb shower block and other amenities. Cleanliness of the site is spot on toilets cleaned every day, grass cut on pitches prior to arrival, great fishing caught some 10lb plus carp, and bream.
Thanks again for a lovely stay, only 1 down side this year was a yapping dog on nursery field thanks again to tracy, neil and team

What an excellent site, just what we needed to relax.
Fishing was excellent & kept my husband very happy.
Staff are very friendly & there to greet you when you arrive, they show you to your pitch.
Facility excellent, clean & tidy.

If you are looking for absolutely rest and relaxation in pleasant surroundings with very clean and comfortable amenities, then look no further this site.
Tracy and Neil with support from the team have created a piece of heaven.

Just returned from a great 6 day stay,
Tracy and Debbie greeted us on our arrival, showed us to our pitch we were on a hard standing on nursery lake,
Facilities were spotless hubby enjoyed the fishing, very peaceful,
Chickens wandering around, very friendly stopped to get fed.
No local buses but you just called ‘call Connect’ arrange for a time to pickup and return they pick up right outside site, would definitely return

We had a very warm welcome from the team and Debbie showed us to our pitch.
Our main reason for picking this site as part of our tour was for the fishing. This was wonderful and kept my husband very happy from the first afternoon.
The site is very well maintained. Everything neat and tidy.
Facilities immaculately clean. Showers hot and powerful. Bonus with the dog shower.
Well organised with info from booking, pre arrival and pre departure and a very lovely wave goodbye from Debbie.
We will definitely be back.

Excellent service from arrival with an introduction to escorting you to your pitch, full guide to connecting up and all site facilities.
We were fully serviced.
Site kept immaculately maintained and cleaned. Gas bottle ran out but they sold gas on site so no problem even brought it to the caravan.
Recommend the local bus service which comes to the entrance to pick you up and drop you off.
We will be returning next year.

Very charming place, wonderful owners.
First class fishing I haven't had this much fun in a long time.
Hot tub is a good idea to escape from everyday stress.
Very relaxing place. Peace and quiet. This is what we needed.
We would like to thank the owners for taking such good care of everything.
We will definitely go back there.
We only have a small reservation about the hours for catching fish. Maybe the time could be extended a little?

Visited last month as part of our first week as owners of our first motorhome and were made to feel so welcome by Tracy and Neil. From guiding us to the site to helping us when we had a few problems they went over and above to help us.
The facilities on the site were excellent and we ended up staying an extra night due to our positive experience.

A wonderful site with immaculate amenities.
Very relaxing atmosphere with lovely views of the lakes and sunsets.
Neil and Tracy were the perfect hosts and made sure we were happy with everything.
I especially loved the free roaming hens and watching the resident kingfisher

From the first conversation on the telephone the Customer Service has been brilliant. Tracy has been so helpful.
An easy journey, not far off the A52, Tracy had provided excellent directions.
Clean modern facilities, large showers with plenty of hot water.
Good size pitches, we were overlooking the lake.
Can’t recommend enough!
