 Upon arrival you have to call the owner to get your pitch allocated. He's not on-site - nobody is - so it's a bit of a pfaff. Nice guy though.
Sites by and large are decent - fairly level hard standing with grass area to the side for awnings, plenty of space between vans. There's a few 'prime' sites by the perimeter hedge which have their own picnic table.
Good sized site, so a short walk to the central shower/toilet/kitchen building. 3 toilets and showers (gents side at least!) which were clean with piping hot water and didn't need you to keep pressing any buttons to keep it running. Didn't use the kitchen or laundry so can't comment on those. There's a cafe on site but also didn't use that. If the small tent area is free kids can kick a ball there, outside of that, no real facilities for them.
Not the greatest location for exploring the island, but handy for both the Eriskay and Lochboisdale ferries. There's a hotel/inn about 2 miles drive away and a pub 3 miles away in Erisaky. Outside of that there's nothing really walkable - tough for dog walking - and the beach access isn't great.

Lovely site, handy for the ferry to and from Eriskay. Site well laid out, good facilities and dog friendly.
There are places to walk the dogs near the beach, good starting point to explore South Uist.
Owner was very helpful. Cafe on site.

I cannot see how to update a review so I am adding another.
This site was super busy this year compared to last but then the weather has been better so far. Still a lovely site and the owner Donald is great.
The cafe is handy and has nice views, facilities are very good, though only 2 sinks for women when it is busy isn’t a lot. Washing machine has a large capacity and good price and dryer (didn’t need it this time as dried on lines quickly)
Good flat pitches, more space on the hard standing I think. We had a sea view on and off depending who was parked in front. Not great for kids as only a tiny beach and there is nothing for them and no space to play.

Great site in lovely location. We had two nights.
Facilities are great, owner comes to meet you and is very friendly and helpful.
Cafe very handy and good food and drinks. Nice quiet site.
We hope to return and make it to Barra too. Pretty little bay opposite site and great walks.

Lovely Campsite with good facilities and great walks from the site.
We arrived after the cafe closed, there is a number at the facilities block to phone for pitching instructions.
A lady came after 6pm to collect the money, card payments are also accepted. The showers are included.
There is a beautiful beach directly across the road, which we swam in which was welcome in the heatwave we were experiencing.
We used the cafe twice and can recommend the scones.
There is a COOP 8 minutes drive away. We would return

Lovely site, good facilities, lots of space, cafe on site.
Peaceful. Corncrakes calling!
Lovely welcome from the host. Great base for exploring South Uist and Erskay.
Excellent pub up the road. Walked up the coast one evening - lots of birds and if I’d sat quietly long enough I reckon there’d be otters!

Great little campsite with its own cafe for breakfast in the morning and showers and washing facilities
Only complaint is that it’s another one that could do with wifi booster
But apart from that would definitely stay here again
