 This was our second visit of the season to Axmouth.
It is a great site with large level pitches in a great waterside location.
It was very busy but all campers are respectful making for a very chilled stay.
A very well priced site with good facilities,
We will definitely be back next year.

Lovely quiet site, clean facilities,

Lovely site by the river, very chilled vibe, nice having the pub next door.
Great staff Very helpful nothing was to much trouble.
We had meant to stay 4 nights but the heat beat us.
Will recommend this site to family.

Had electric hookup
Lovely site
Gd facilities lots of hot water
Gd size pitches
Will definitely be going back
Very helpful & friendly staff & a wonderful pub next door with the best roast dinners ever

Great location to get to around towns by bus, ie sidmouth beer, branscombe, lyme regis which means you can leave van, also the river depending on tide was good for kakai or paddleboat.

Absolutely brilliant campsites on all levels: from first communication with Stephen through to arrival.
The campsite and facilities were pristine, great little shop, toothbrush and paste only 80p.

My son and I started our annual motorcycle tour here hence the single night stay.
I hadn’t been back to this side for 60 years and it didn’t disappoint.
It’s very clean and tidy and being on motorcycles we weren’t bothered by the narrow entrance.
The Harbour pub next door was very accommodating and our overall stay set the scene for a great trip.
Lovely site and one one I wouldn’t hesitate to return to.

Lovely site clean everything you need and a field for dog walking, staff very friendly, we enjoyed our stay,
The only downside with a 4birth caravan is the entrance /exit is very tight and needs careful manoeuvering

Hasn’t changed friendly staff clean and tidy. Fresh cut grass. Like the fact they own the pub tidy site.
Easy to book and payment online which is always good thing. Shop having a few more item in it
So will be returning this year. Walking

Great little site. Quiet location with bus stops 100 m away.
2 pubs within 100 m with good beer and food available.
More basic than the Big 2 campsite clubs but adequate all around.
Definitely staying again.

On the bank of the river Axe with distance views over the nature reserve and Seaton Tramway. Entrance is very tight with stone wall on one side and stone building on the other and its a 90 degree turn in.
There is a bus stop within 100 yards of the entrance from Seaton to Lyme Regis or you can take a 30 minute walk along the riverside road into Seaton to get a bus to Sidmouth. This transport link is the site's best feature.
Toilets and showers were cleaned but I am told the gents left much to be desired. There are separate laundry and pot washing facilities with plenty of hot water.
However, we visited mid-September, it was a cold and windy, the outer door is not draught proof and no heating in the facilities. It is a sloping site and the grass was 5-6 inches long. Pushed to spot any maintenance going on. The immediate view was that of seasonal or permanent caravan pitches so close together they are almost touching and were surrounded by delapidated windbreaks. Not the cheapest site we visited on our tour of the West Country and south coast but definitely the least appealing.

Love, love, love it here.
Flat campsite, basic but clean and adequate facilities, washing machine and dryer, lots of hot water for showers and washing up,
Friendly and helpful wardens,
Excellent location for Seaton, Beer, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis. Beautiful surroundings.
We have been 4 consecutive years and will be back next year.

Lovely site, was only 1/4 full so plenty of space, I imagine it could feel a bit confined if full.
The facilities are a bit dated but clean, showers nice and hot. Two good pubs in the village. Walked to Beer from the site, which is a quaint place.
If using the owners directions, beware that when you approach the site entrance, which is on the right, you cannot turn right in to it. Easiest way is to drive past the entrance to the sharp left corner and turn round and approach from the Seaton end of the road. If in a motorhome you do have to use the whole width of the road to manoeuvre into the VERY TIGHT ENTRANCE.
Having said all that, will definitely be back, but not peak season.
