We stayed here for one night as a stop-over when returning from the South West as it is only 5 miles fro the M4.
Easy access from the main road, the site is a grass field behind a small site of permanently occupied statics.
Well kept site with spotlessly clean showers and toilets, dish washing and laundry, but no tumble dryer!
Chemical disposal but no driver-over waste for motorhomes.
Within walking distance of the lovely old town of Malmesbury.

We have just had our summer holiday caravaning at Burton hill site. It is our second stay with them and an extremely satisfying stay it was.
All the facilities are kept to a very good and clean standard and the staff are always available to answer any questions not that we had any.
This site is used by people from all over Europe and it was nice hearing the chitter chatter of the different languages.
The town of Malmesbury is quaint and very interesting visit.
We also visited the Weston Birt arboretum, Laycock abbey and village and a trip to Bath.
The connecting roads and M4 motorway make it a really easy place to get to and from.
We will be returning in the future.
Thank you Burton Hill

A lovely site with level grass pitches - seemed spacious when we were there.
Facilities very well looked after. The owners are around most of the time and are very helpful and friendly.
A 5 min walk from the camp site into Malmesbury adds to the attraction of this site.
We asked to stayed late on our leaving day and were charged a modest amount, could have stayed until 6pm if wanted.
Would be happy to make a return visit.

Couple of nights here en route to Wales.
Good sight in great location for an easy walk into Malmesbury.
Can walk along river or cut through to short walk along road to town.
We visited the abbey and had a lovely drink in the garden of the Kings head, great views overlooking the valley below.
We ran the river walk, Adams well is a lovely spot, then did it in reverse, as just under 2 miles.
Ask at reception for a copy of the walk.
Couldn't get level without a chock, well manicured camping area.

Peaceful immaculate site with friendly staff.
We were delighted to find this site very close to the Womad site where we were spending the day.
The spot where we camped was private and scenic and the site itself was well appointed and clean.
This site is also in walking distance of Malmesbury town.
Highly recommended.

Burton Hill site managers are friendly, helpful and give you a warm welcome. We have been to this site on a number of occasions and their standards never slip. The facilities are always kept clean, and the grass pitches are regularly mown.
St Aldhelm Mead Recreation Ground and Play Area is nearby which makes it ideal for children to let off steam and for walking the dogs.
The site is within walking distance of Waitrose, Malmesbury town, Malmesbury Abbey, and a good sized Aldi is a five minutes drive away.
It's an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds. Places to visit include Highgrove Gardens, Cotswold Sculpture Park, Cotswold Country Park & Beach and Westonbirt the National Arboretum.

Fantastic campsite. The owners are very friendly and helpful and always make the time to chat & assist.
The site is in an amazing location right in Malmesbury and just a short walk into town by the river where you will find lots of shops and places to eat. A really lovely picturesque town.
The site is spacious and the facilities are good. Always kept clean & tidy by the owners.
Dog friendly too.
We stayed two nights but could have happily stayed for a week!
Will definitely return here soon.

A pleasant site on the edge of Malmesbury with a number of walks direct from the site, into the town or out into the country.
There is a Waitrose store on the edge of the town just 10 minutes walk from the site and a number of other shops within the town itself.
The site seemed quite spacious when we arrived when there were plenty of empty pitches but it filled up over the bank holiday weekend while we were there and it then felt quite cramped.
All the pitches were grass but they were ok - the ground was very dry. The toilet/shower block is well maintained and the shower cubicles are quite spacious.
Karen the site owner is very friendly and helpful and runs the site in a very relaxed way.
