 We had booked the entire site as we were doing a craft weekend.
Little gem of a camp site. Beautifully kept, the pitches well spaced out and spacious. There were also holiday cottages on site.
The shower and toilet block had 2 of each which were so clean and well presented, never had to wait to use the showers. Mark, (who worked about 25 hours a day) the site manager checked them constantly through the day. He came and checked everyone was ok in the mornings and one morning came round with freshly baked lemon drizzle cake made from the eggs of the farm chickens.
Rachel and Matt have made sure there is plenty of information about the surrounding areas and nothing was too much trouble, even letting us use one of the buildings on an evening as the weather was a bit iffy.
Bus stop at end of the drive to take you into Harrogate or Ripon and plenty of local walks from the site.
Mornings spent trying to identify the chickens that’s roamed around the site ( list in the toilet block)
It’s a ten out of ten I would give more if I could an absolute top class camp site.

My partner and our two boys (4 and 8) had the best two-night stay. We were so impressed by all the thoughtful little touches and attention to detail throughout our visit.
From the fresh mint and blackberries by the sink to enjoy with your drinks, to the little list of the chickens’ names and the warm “good morning” greetings from the owners, everything had been so carefully thought through. These personal touches really made our stay feel extra special.
We originally booked due to the proximity to Stockeld Park, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already hoping to return next year and explore more of the attractions in the area.
Thank you for such a welcoming and memorable stay — we absolutely loved it!

A fantastic campsite for a peaceful stop with beautiful views.
Very clean, quiet and friendly. We did not have children with us. Worth noting no outdoor children's play equipment or football goal posts if that's what you want.
There is a large grass area on the main field to kick a ball about although that might disturb fellow campers.
However, we found the campsite absolutely perfect for our needs and would love to come back.

Just having a coffee and taking in the wonderful views before getting ready to leave
Set just a couple of miles outside of Harrogate once you are down the farm lane you are in a different world so peaceful and quiet
Friendly welcome from Mark who explained the workings of the site and is knowledgeable on local areas
Amenities block spotless
2 buses per hour to Harrogate or about £7 in a Uber
Lots of takeaways deliver to site
So if you want a peaceful getaway this is the place

Lovely campsite. Pretty full but still very peaceful. Beautiful views over the fields. Large, flat pitch with showers & toilet block close but not too close.
Lovely and clean with great added extra touches - eg hairdryer & straighteners!
Hay cafe was great for breakfast & staff were lovely.
Great location to explore the area. About £6 in taxi to Harrogate which was perfect.
The manager of the site also gave us great suggestions for places to visit & was always around cleaning & tidying and checking all was ok.
Would recommend & would definitely come back.

Site is small but perfectly situated 2 miles north of Harrogate on a farm.
Only 20 pitches with a small amenities block consisting 2 showers, 2 toilets & 2 washing up sinks.
The views & setting is great.
The warden is friendly & helpful.
Fully recommend the site.

Lovely little site, everything you need and great location. Mark met us on arrival, showed us to our pitch and explained everything we needed to know,
We had a peaceful, chilled two night stay. Harrogate and Ripon both walking distance from the site or you can get the bus at the end of the lane.
Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. 👍

We stayed for one night in our roof tent and I cannot fault this campsite at all.
Fantastic clean facilities, peaceful, spacious and a warm welcome from owner Mike.
Nice extras like parking discs to borrow if you wanted to go to Harrogate, a communal fridge, GHD straighteners and a hairdryer, clean toilet and shower facilities.
We had a brilliant stay, will be back and would totally recommend.

Lovely small quiet, clean site. Well placed for exploring local area on foot, cycle, car or bus - stops conveniently placed very close to site. Number of supermarkets close by.
Bonus that there are a number of different laminated walking routes with instructions available to borrow. Also a parking disc is available to borrow for the zoned areas in Harrogate.
Only 2 showers & toilets but we never had to wait. Plenty of hot water & warm wash block. Shower room excellent in that there’s plenty of space to hang your things (& a seat) to get dry & changed separately from the shower cubicle itself.
Cafe on site which is pleasant & a nice treat for breakfast or afternoon cake!

This is one of the best sites in the UK. It is part of a working farm while only 16 hard standing pitches and a handful of tent pitches.
Shower and toilet block are pristine and the grass areas kept tidy. It even had a small café on site if you do not want to cook your own breakfast.
We have a motorhome so having a bus stop near the Cud Life entrance was a cherry on the cake for us.

We have stayed here over a number of years and the vibe hasn’t changed. Quiet, friendly and very welcoming.
Facilities are simple and clean. Lots of little touches eg parking permits to borrow.
The addition of the cafe which also serves a ‘camper’s breakfast’ is great!
Abundant local walks and 5 minute walk to the bus stop with regular services to Harrogate and Ripon.
Can’t recommend highly enough.

This was our first visit to the Cud life site. We were visiting family. The site was ideal for visiting Harrogate a short drive or bus trip into town.
The site provides parking discs which you can borrow this gives you free parking in designated areas in Harrogate and surrounding towns.
The site is small, clean and very friendly and a bit quirky. The facilities (showers and toilets) are clean with plenty of hot water, however they are unisex but still private. It has a small cafe on site.
The surrounding area is mainly farm land with lovely views. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Just returned from two nights at Cud Life and cant fault it.
Was greeted by Mark who could not be more helpful.
Facilities are spot on, pitches are a good size with great views.
Would highly recommend if visiting Nidderdale/ Harrogate etc.

Excellent campsite. Lovely location and really friendly staff. Facilities are great, especially with young children.
Unisex so you can go in as a family and the shower has a glass screen with a large area for getting dressed that includes a small seat and a radiator.
Hairdryer, radio and straighteners available to use. Water lovely and hot.
Nice and clean. Really couldn't fault it.
