Arrived to a very warm and friendly reception. Tanya was very helpful when booking and expounded very quickly to my enquiries.
The shop was about to close but my wife was allowed to do some shopping even though Tanya had had a very busy day with dispensing her customer orders.
We were the only unit staying as many had cancelled. The hardstanding was mor that adequate and electric abs water was very conveniently placed.
Lovely sunrises and views or Harrogate. Very quiet site. A great find.

The Cud Life location is great for easy access to Harrogate or Knaresborough and is close to the main cycle route into Harrogate.
The owners of the site couldn’t have been more helpful and were so friendly.
Really recommend visiting the cook shop on site, Cooking Fantastic. It’s full of hidden kitchen gems and local produce. The hook up pitches are really big and have fab views.
Will most definitely return in the Spring and summer. What a gem.

A wonderful family run campsite. Clean, well maintained with good, sturdy pitches. A lovely farm shop selling local provisions.
The owners were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
Just one small thing, a sign at the end of the lane on the main road would be so helpful as both satnavs took us past the turning.

What a lovely place to stay. Harrogate 2 miles left out of driveway & Ripley 2 miles right. Peaceful site with beautiful views all around.
Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Facilities not open due to COVID-19, but if it’s anything like the campsite, it would have been spotless.
Give it a go, you will not be disappointed!

Very friendly and helpful and most welcoming.
Relaxed location overlooking countryside.
Bus route at least every 20 minutes to Harrogate and Ripon. Easy train to York. What more do you need!
I didn't want to score "child friendliness" since we are a couple.

There is nothing to dislike. This is a lovely site, superbly friendly owners, well looked after and for those with A big Motorhome and no car, a bus stop at the end of the driveway - PERFECT!
This is not the first time we have stayed at the Cud Life and wont be the last - love it.
One very small issue - there is nowhere for dumping Motorhome grey water unless you use a waste water carrier - and they are too big and heavy to put in the back of the Motorhome. I have spoken to to the owners about this and they were disappointed that when they set up the site no-one mentioned this need for Motorhomers! Not an easy thing to rectify without a lot of expense.
HOWEVER, it wont stop us returning. Many thanks for a lovely stay.
PS. The cooking shop/cafe is amazing!

Friendly welcome and recommended a great restaurant (The Inn on Cheltenham Parade).
36 bus is excellent for getting into Harrogate, but also to Ripley.

This is a lovely, peaceful and well maintained site with thoughtful and caring owners. We loved watching the cows in the field in front of our caravan, and the birds in the fruit trees.
There are about five hardstanding pitches where were parked and also a field for tents vans and motorhomes. Three nights with EHU cost us £60 and it was the August bank holiday weekend when we visited. No toilet or shower facilities available due to COVID-19 which was no problem.
If you want a relaxing break on a working farm close to Harrogate or Ripley this is the place. Ripley is famous for its ice cream (loads of flavours) and Harrogate has Betty's tearoom and lots of other lovely places. I have only given 5/10 for child friendliness as we have no children ourselves and where we were parked there were no children either so l cannot really comment, but l don't think there are any play facilities.
We will be back soon
