 I had been to Langstone Manor in the mid 80's as a child and remembered loving it, so I booked a static caravan for the week there to see the place again.
From all the holiday locations in Dartmoor, this site is unique because the location is the closest to the edge of the moor that I can see.
Just a few minutes walk up a lane from the campsite entrance and you are at the bottom of the climb to Pew Tor and the vast moor beyond.
Langstone Manor's location is set in the most stunning scenery which has to be seen, with plenty of interesting places to walk to on the moor from the campsite without the need to travel anywhere by car. Tavistock is only several miles away making supplies easy to get.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The static caravan we stayed in was fantastic, it was modern and clean, everything working well with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge, also a great shower and separate wc.
The caravan had a small patio and outdoor table and chairs to the side where we had some bbq's. The site has a bar and restaurant serving delicious locally produced food if you don't fancy cooking.
This is a fantastic holiday park and the kind of place you keep to yourself, but it deserves a great review.

We've stayed at Langstone Manor multiple times over the last few years, in a static caravan, a tent and the last time in a glamping pod. Each time has been a wonderful stay.
The staff are so helpful and friendly, the site is so peaceful and the walk onto Dartmoor is just brilliant.
There is everything you need, the bathroom and kitchen facilities are always clean and I have hardly ever had to wait.
The on site restaurant and bar have great food and drink, and we really enjoy eating there when we don't feel like cooking.
I can't recommend this site enough, and we can't wait until we can go back!

Just got back from a two week stay in our touring caravan at this lovely site. Unfortunately the weather did spoil things somewhat. The first week was far too hot (saw 36c) and we spent our time hiding in the shade, the second week it more or less rained the whole time. The site is nicely kept and well established and has a good vibe. We both loved the little wild rabbits hopping around munching on the grass.
The facilities are kept immaculately clean, absolutely no complaints there, although the push-button showers were slightly irritating and the hot water did take a while to arrive, perhaps because the site was not not very busy.
There are lots of wild flowers around and there were lots in the wall behind our pitch in the walled garden which we learnt a lot about, courtesy of Google Lens while hiding from the sun around the back of the caravan.
Tavistock is a lovely old market town, we really enjoyed the Steam Fayre on the Sunday, lots to see and some classic cars too.
There is a really good coarse fishery "Milemead" just twenty minutes away, it came recommended from my boss at work. I only had one day there, but was really impressed. It's a proper good quality commercial fishery, well worth a look.
Absolutely follow the site's instructions for arrival if towing a touring caravan or in a biggish motorhome. Be careful, the roads are quite narrow and lengthy. There are actually specific brown tourist information signs pointing to the site, well posted on the road in, although it could still be a nightmare if you met something large, we were lucky thankfully.
Also it's worth checking your route out home carefully as it's a bit of a maze of little roads with only the occasional passing place.
It is a lovely site and we would highly recommend it overall. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and a credit to the site.

We initially booked for 2 nights, but as soon as we arrived extended our time to three, only wishing we had more time to stay.
Jacquai and Mark were very welcoming, showing us to our pitch with fantastic views
It was really peaceful, watching and listening to the birds. With easy access to the higher moor, this site has it all.
With a restaurant on site and Millie's excellent home-cooked food, it added to our stay.
The facilities were spotless.
It's a site we'd definitely come back to.

From the moment we arrived until (unfortunately) we had to leave our stay in our Campervan at Langstone was great.
Friendly staff, fresh baked bread in the morning and stunning walks on Dartmoor only a minute away means we will be returning.
For a touring point of view the site is a lovely size, although there are lots of chalet and static vans available as well.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, but with a full park it may get busy at times.
Location is a prime reason to come, it is lovely and quiet and right on the edge of Dartmoor, so walks and cycle rides are easy and limitless.

Nice peaceful area
Really clean site with fantastic facilities.
Decent shop on site, Restaurant has great reviews but was closed the day we stayed.
Tavistock just a short drive - plenty of food spots.

First class site with great spotless facilities throughout.
Excellent management team who are very friendly helpful and 100% on the ball.
Onsite restaurant serves delicious well presented hearty meals which is opened every evening along with the lounge bar.
WIFI is outsourced to an independent company so please check connectivity and reliability before purchasing as it was very poor during our stay and we made other arrangements regarding WIFI.
Looking forward to returning soon and would highly recommend Langstone Manor and the team.

We stayed for 2 nights in our campervan, and the site is lovely.
The location is idyllic, the facilities are modern and clean.
For the price we paid, the site is real value for money, and we will definitely visit again.

We arrived on Friday evening to very friendly and accommodating staff who walked us down to our glamping pod. We were shown how to work the sofa bed, heating etc.
The pod itself was perfect for what we needed, and was very clean. We were able to order fresh warm pastries for the morning and the location was perfect, right amongst the woodland with beautiful views and abundance of wildlife on our doorstep.
We didn’t use much of the on site facilities due to only being here one night, but on reflection we should have booked another night due to how wonderful our stay was.
Location wise was ideal and were able to explore beautiful Dartmoor right on our doorstep.
The showers were spotless, and plenty of bins and fresh water nearby.
Would recommend to friends and can’t wait to come back!

Friendly, helpful staff. Superb facilities.
Quiet site, even though quite busy. Fantastic location.
Enjoyed watching the bats from the restaurant on our last night.

Another amazing stay at this site, Jane and the team really do think of everything before you arrive from tea, coffee and milk to your bedding, washing up liquid etc
Beautiful caravan which was spotless
The site is lovely and quiet so it was the best sleep we’ve had in a long time
They have a lovely restaurant on site which is really well priced and cooked beautiful
