 Wonderful peaceful site with superb staff 16 amp ehu flat super pitch facilities on site individual bathrooms were spotless throughout our stay.
Numerous seasonal pitches on site but very quiet during our stay. Poor freeview reception average mobile phone reception but on site wifi was good.
Local pub was 6 mins walk ok but food was average at best. We used The Feathers pub in Budleigh Salterton for food and drink good quality food and great staff.
20 min walk in Budleigh salterton from site Nearest large supermarket is in Exmouth with plenty of local towns to visit as well.
We are very likely to revisit this site in the future

After a fraught journey here from Cornwall, where a delivery driver in a hurry bashed and smashed our wing mirror, we certainly needed these 2 nights to chill out. And chill out we did.
Not our first time here and definitely not our last.
We have to say that we much prefer it out of season as it was so quiet and we almost had the site to ourselves. LOTS of seasonal vans on site but only 1 or 2 being used as far as we could see.
Friendly welcome and top notch facilities, massive individual rooms and always spotless and warm.
Good hardstanding pitch with waste, water and EHU and good price out of season (£26. 50 per night).
The grass sounding the pitch was quite muddy so getting on and off made a few tracks (sorry wardens!).
Easy 20/25 minute stroll into Budleigh which has lots of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets. Nice walk along the beach/prom, with a few coffee stops on the way.
We caught the bus into Exmouth on the Saturday - £3 each/each way and a good regular service. Large town but quite a way from the beach.
Can highly recommend this great site, so peaceful, just the sounds of the birds - perfect.

Loved the peace and quiet.
Excellent toilet/shower facilities.
Kev was extremely helpful and introduced us to all the amenities.
Good, dog friendly site.
A small one site shop would have been useful.

Excellent campsite!
We had stayed before but not since 2017!
Just as good as before, if not better. It's not cheap at £47. 50 per night but you get what you pay for.
Easy booking and Jess was VERY helpful from start to finish (thank you!), even changing our pitch when our friends decided to book so we could be pitched together.
Lovely greeting on arrival by Kevin (one of the wardens). Lots of information and free Wi-Fi.
The facilities are brilliant. Individual rooms each with a shower, sink and toilet and always spotlessly clean. No push button showers here! Indoor washing up and laundry room too. Water and EHU on each pitch, which were a great size with hardstanding and grass, and level.
Great walks (or bike rides) straight from the site. About a 20/25 minute wander into Budleigh town and beach. Such a friendly town too.
Quirky, independent shops in the high street and some good pubs. Particularly found the Salterton Arms to be really friendly and great food too. Otter Estuary Nature reserve was lovely to walk to and around and all free!
We were worried the site would be really noisy with it being the start of the Whitsun half term but Friday evening was really peaceful. More kids on the play park (close to our pitches) on Saturday evening but true to their word the wardens asked them to leave at 9pm (when quiet time starts). Excellent service from start to finish and we're all planning to return again this year if we can squeeze another break in.

Stayed two nights. Nice quiet site, although we visited off-season.
Staff friendly and helpful. Good level hardstanding pitches, each with water and electric hook-up.
Well kept site with excellent individual shower rooms.
Nice indoor wash up and laundry room.
Great location for exploring the area.
Very good (and fast) free wifi.
20 minute walk to Budleigh Salterton beach and centre of town.
90 minute walk to Exmouth along walking/cycle track (about 4 miles).
Would definitely recommend.

Elaine was very friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth.
There is a small, well-equipped shop.
A very clean campsite with an indescribable view.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back

A lovely site at the back of Buddleigh Salterton, 20 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of walking and cycling in all directions direct from the site.
There are two areas to this site, the front main area is immaculate, nicely laid out, children's play area, most pitches seemed to be fully serviced.
The amenities block was the poshest I've ever used on a campsite, toilets, showers, wash up and laundry room. The rear area of the site which I stayed in felt a bit disjointed. There was a lovely flat area with electric hookups that wasn't being used, I guess there's some reason for this.
There were 4 quite sloping grass pitches, chocs definitely required, in the eyore field and below that a flat terrace of more hard standing pitches.
I felt that this area was work in progress. Big plus was free on site Wi-Fi.
Budleigh Fish n Chips in Chapel Street is very good though it's best to preorder on line, they don't really do walk-insand there's a pub about 5 minutes from site that looked good, but I dint get to use.

Very quiet and clean campsite surrounded by trees.
Superb spacious facilities.
Lots of hot water and top of the range hand and hairdryers.
Shower rooms have space to put all your things without getting anything wet and there’s plenty of space to get changed.

You get a warm welcome on arrival. We are a retired couple with daughter, have visited this site before and found it to be very friendly and welcoming, spotlessly clean.
Granddaughter and her husband and two small children have their own caravan on the site and go there several times, it’s perfectly safe for children.
It’s a very calming relaxing and restful site and would easily recommend it to anyone. It is also dog friendly. Easily accessible to Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and also Sidmouth. There is a Tesco’s supermarket and Lidl and McDonald’s just a short distance away.
The shower block and toilets are easily accessible and spotless. Washing up and laundry facilities are also on site. Excellent.

Well run and very friendly site.
Owner was very accommodating to us when we cancelled due Storm Alex, and stayed a couple of weeks later.
Amazing shower facilities with shower sink and toilet and heated flooring.
One way system in place for Covid. 20 min walk to town and beach. Cycling and walking opportunities from campsite.
Will definitely be back.

We received a very warm welcome and were given a full run down on the amenities, then shown to our pitch which had hard standing and was fully serviced, also a lovely view.
The site was immaculate, the showers and toilets superb and full marks to the cleaner.
The site is within easy walking/cycling distance of Budleigh Salterton and the beach, there is a cycle/walking path close by and a supermarket a short drive away.
We would certainly stay there again.

Great campsite with an amazing park owner, he was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, the location is perfect and facilities were brilliant,
We stayed in the bottom field and it was so quiet at night, we would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.
