A lovely site. Guy and Maria are great hosts, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The site is very clean and tidy and the pitches are a good size.
You can hear the road in the day, but it is silent at night and very dark, leading to a good night’s sleep.
The toilets and showers are clean, neat and warm.
We ordered croissants for the morning and they were delicious.
We recommend it and will definitely be back.

A great place to stay.
Wonderful hosts who even offer a warm drink on arrival which was very much appreciated until we could get the kettle out.
Well kept site in a lovely location.
Generous sized plots with other areas for activities e. G. Outdoor games and a huge indoor area for if the weather turns grim.
Toilet and shower block lovely and clean.
The Friday night barbecue is a must make sure to prebook.
Couldn't wish for a better place to stay in the area.

We visited this site in 2018 and gave it 9/10
Well we just visited it again and I am happy to upgrade it to 10/10
The owners are lovely and friendly and helpful. They have made a number of improvements on what was already a great site.
They've added electric hookup to a lot of the pitches, an extra toilet block, electric car charge points, a playground without taking away from the lovely quiet, friendly and clean campsite.
The pitches are flat, generous sized and grassy. The toilets were always clean, warm and nice.
This visit we did go to the Friday BBQ, which was excellent and generous. Maria was very fastidious in confirming ingredients, as one of our group has a peanut allergy.
We were 4 families with kids 7-10, including 2 families new to camping, and they all commented on how great the site and owners were.
Overall we had a great time at this family run campsite and I would 100% recommend this all.

A wonderful welcome as ever, also helping us with a car tire puncture and being flexible with pitch due to bad weather.
The site is always clean and cared for. We also used the new electric car charging point successfully!
The only issue was the extreme wet weather, making the ground a bit boggy - little to be done about that, but Maria and Guy put in place sensible measures to help.

Our first visit to The Crofts started wet and ended wet but we had a lovely Easter weekend.
Guy ensured we got our caravan safely on and off the pitch despite the weather conditions.
Excellent facilities and wonderful activities for the kids.
We are looking forward to returning with the grandchildren.

We had a lovely stay at the Croft Campsite over the Easter weekend. Our tent was on a non-electricity pitch that was nice and large with good space between us and the neighbouring tent.
Guy actually moved us to a better pitch as he was concerned the one we were originally booked on was going to be a bit too wet - thank you!
What a bonus to have a dog enclosure where our pups could run around off their leads!
The Friday evening bbq was also really lovely and tasty.
The shower and toilet facilities were great and kept very clean.
The campsite even had an electric vehicle charging point, should we have needed to give our ev a boost.
The site's location is also perfect for exploring and got us to the River Waverley in 30 minutes from where we wanted to do some kayaking.
All and all a wonderful stay for these first time campers! Thank you so much Guy, Maria and family! 😁

One of the best campsites around, and we've tried a few, we love it so much we've kept returning again and again over the last ten years and have yet to find its match.
We're a mixed group of friends - two families with young kids, one with a dog, and a couple.
All our needs and interests are well catered for: optional fire pits, excellent frequently cleaned showers/toilets and kitchen blocks, a barn open to one side able to accommodate all guests for an optional fun Friday BBQ cooked by the owners, where there are several large fridge-freezers, plus another barn with various games and go-karts etc and an outside playground area for kids to enjoy.
Pitches are well-spaced apart in several small fields, groups are able to book pitches next to one another, providing a safe, private yet spacious and friendly atmosphere.
Fab location, lots of nearby villages with pubs, about half an hour drive from Southwold and the coast.
The owners have continued to make improvements year on year and really couldn't do more to make it a special and wonderful experience.
Highly recommended!

We had the best time at this campsite.
We were a group of 6 Families with children of mixed ages and dogs.
We were placed together so that we had a central group area.
Maria and Guy could not have done more to accommodate us. They were always on hand to help when needed.
The facilities are very well kept and maintained.
There was plenty for the children to do and a good area for the dogs to run.
The location is quite remote, but that was what we wanted.
It was the perfect campsite for us.

Couldn't fault this wonderful camp site, we had a wonderful 6 night stay. Facilities were clean and kept well.
The pitches were very spacious and having a separate area for the kids to play ball games etc was great.
Kids loved the barn play equipment, play park and go karts were a firm favourite.
Fire pit and logs waiting for you when you arrive.
Owners are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful, especially when we had to contact them out of hours for assistance.
Would really recommend this site, I think it may be the best we have stayed on.
Surrounding area lovely. Nice walks, trips from castle to coast.

Lovely flat campsite with friendly owners & large pitches nicely separated and spread out.
We had a lovely weekend with family and the kids were able to play freely and safely in the barn, the dedicated field for games and play area. They loved the karts.
We dragged them out one one of the local walks to the local village and pub but they would have been happy staying all day on site.
We melted marshmallows over the fire outs available for hire and didn’t use the bbq and breakfast available
But it def gave the site the feel of a relaxed atmosphere and my daughter loved the clues given for the toy hare hunt!
Would def recommend

This campsite is very pretty, has good sized pitches and is well maintained throughout.
The toilet block is very clean and everything has been thought of ie hooks, stool for clothes and cleaned regularly.
For children its great, it has table tennis, go karts and table football.
Marie and Guy are hands on and very pleasant and helpful. We liked that you can order fresh croissants for the morning, and a BBQ can be chosen for the Friday evening.
Also we went canoeing west of here at captain cooks canoes which was great. Then onto Dunwich and Southwold.
Suffolk is a very varied area and has something for everyone.
We would definitely recommend and hopefully come back. Thank you

Luckily we found this little gem on our first visit to Suffolk.
The welcome and service we received was outstanding.
The site is well laid out and absolutely spotless.
Toilets and showers are immaculate. Guy and Maria couldn't do enough for you.
We have booked for next year already.
