This was our 4th visit to croft in 2 years. That should say enough.

Perfect camp site, accommodating owners where nothing is too much trouble.

Pitches are large.

Suffolk at its finest for location, the coast about half hour away, Walberswick is best in our opinion.

Framlingham great for wet days, castle has a lot to keep children entertained.

Great site. Perfect location for getting to the coast. Lovely flat, hedge marked pitches with plenty of space.

Clean, modern toilet block. Fab barns with fridges and kids games and the go-karts were an unexpected bonus.

We will be back.

This is a great campsite. We have camped around the uk as a group of 4 families for many years and this has to be a favourite.

The owners are so accommodating and they have given a lot of thought into what makes a great campsite.

The games field and dog walking area, kids go karts and the games barn some of the good touches. Thank you for a great holiday!

What an excellent campsite and one of the best ones we have stayed at. Has everything. The two barns kept our 3 children amused with table football and table tennis. As did the go karts.

The community barn had great WiFi signal (probably the only thing that could be improved throughout the campsite) The communal barn was a cool retreat in soaring temperatures so we took board games in there to play. Nice central location.

Guy and Maria were very hands on and often stopped to chat. Great for our dog too with the exercise field. We borrowed the hose to hose him down daily. Local area of Laxfield has a co-op and pub which the food was great.

Amenities were excellent had 3 fridge freezers, washing machine and tumble drier. Bathrooms, family bathroom and disabled washroom. What more can I say!? Well done Guy, Maria and family, a little gem of a campsite.

Oh and lovely guy in hardware store in Laxfield was very helpful

I think this is the nicest campsite I have ever stayed in. Mainly because Guy and Maria are such brilliant child friendly and child-understanding hosts - and nice to adults too!

There are so many thoughtful extras: the games room, the go-carts, the washing line, the dry barn the recreation field, the sitting area at reception with free juice for the kids. To name but a few.

We will definitely be back.

Having been a camper for over 30 years and stayed on many many campsites this site is in my top two. The owners guy and Maria are amazing and have a real sense of community in their campsite with a very relaxed atmosphere.

No stuffy rules but respect-full of fellow campers, just as camping should be. It’s just a shame my children are grown up as their was so much for the kids to do and they all seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Tea and coffee at reception and the large fridges for campers use were a welcome bonus. Toilets, showers and dish wash areas were all immaculately clean and well cared for.

Large well cared for pitches and fire pits by your tent if required. Will definitely be returning.

Maria and Guy must be aiming to be best campsite in the UK. It's a lovely, friendly place.

Everything is clean and well-maintained. And the Friday night BBQ was delicious.

Camped with 2 children 7 and 10. We booked last minute and did not have an electric pitch and were really touched by the thoughtful additions that were available; kettle for making tea/coffee; access to fridge/freezer.

Undercover area with picnic tables for bad weather and also good offering a shade. Great children's play barn. The hosts were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble.

Lovely new toilets/showers. Fabulous find for us and we will be recommending to our friends especially those that camp at school too and coming back for another visit, hopefully soon!

Another fabulous week spent at The Croft Campsite in Suffolk. We first experienced this lovely site when it first opened in 2016 and have now completed a long overdue return visit!

The site has great flat and large pictures and this year they've added electric hook up. Friday nights are a great opportunity to experience Marie and Guy's lovely hospitality at a family friendly barbecue (food is delicious) under the shelter of the very large open barn.

The showers and toilets are immaculate and with the luxurious and appreciated benefit of underfloor heating. We had a lovely stay and our 2 new puppies enjoyed their first camping trip and the new 'dog run paddock' which is fully enclosed so the dogs can run free.

This site is highly recommended!

The Croft is the best camp site I have stayed on. It has large flat pitches, some with electric hookup. The grass was very well maintained. The toilets, wash basins and showers are spotlessly clean. There are three large deep sinks for washing up, there’s even a washing machine and dryer.

There are two larger fridge freezers for storing food and freezing ice blocks or keeping frozen food. Free tea and coffee are available in the reception where you can pick up lots of leaflets highlighting the best of East Anglia. There’s a large open barn with picnic tables, handy if the weather is poor and an even larger barn with Table Tennis tables. There’s even some pedal go-carts for the kids.

Guests can order freshly baked croissants and Pain aux Chocolate each day and good old egg and bacon sandwiches at the weekend. Regular BBQs are held each Friday. You can hire a fire pit with logs, great for when the nights turn a bit chilly.

The site owners, Maria and Guy deserve a special mention, they are wonderful, available from early morning to late at night, and so helpful and friendly and like nothing more than a good old chinwag with their guests.

The nearby village of Laxfield has two excellent and contrasting pubs and a well stocked Local Co-op store. Because of it’s rural location there is very little traffic noise during the night. RSPB Minsmere is only a short drive away and is a fantastic day out even if you aren’t a keen bird watcher.

Framlingham, with it’s castle, immortalised in Ed Sheeran’s song, castle on the Hill, is a very short drive away. Further afield are the delightful towns of Lavenham and Southwold.

Second visit here for May half term and just as good as the first time, despite rather mixed weather.

Large marked pitches with plenty room for tent, gazebo and car. No queues for showers/ washing up.

Kids loved the play barn and go karts (but would really like some swings too!).

Short drive to the coast- recommend crabbing at Walberswick.

We’ll definitely be back.

Third visit to Croft, this time with family. Occupying 4 pitches, a gazebo plus 5 vehicles we had lots of space on the pitches.

Guy & Maria know how to run a campsite as a business. Such a friendly couple with always time for a chat.

The washroom area was always clean despite the site being full on this bank holiday weekend.

Plenty to do around the area, Framlingham & it’s castle worth a visit, Suffolk coast less than 40 mins away.

A very peaceful & relaxing site, thanks again Maria & Guy.

A lovely, friendly site. It suited our needs perfectly as we were looking for some quiet gentle cycling routes.

The pitches were really large and the site had a spacious feel to it. Maria and Guy were very helpful and friendly. We felt nothing was too much trouble for them.

Even over the busy bank holiday weekend the washing facilities were kept spotless. We would certainly return again.

Lovely site. Spotless and very quiet.

Already booked for this year CroftFest.

Nothing too much trouble for Guy and Marie.

Couldn't ask for more! Will bring family with their caravans next time
