 Our family and friends love this site so much so, I want to keep quiet about it to ensure we get a booking every year.
4th time here, we never leave once when we get here. The well stocked shop has everything you need including papers and fresh bread every day.
Dogs welcome and plenty of walks for everyone, lots of public footpaths around. Animals to look at ie. Goats, horses etc and admire.
The toilets are clean and well maintained, lovely warm showers with constant flow of water and good pressure.
Well kept tidy site, one of the things we especially like is the distance between pitches, they don't cram people in like other places we have visited. Large areas for playing games with the whole family and an idyllic 'mini woods' as the children call it where they can build dens and be secure. Playing equipment for children and basketball hoop, football goal etc. Tv room, nice wash rooms.
Security controlled barrier in place and realistic rules ie. Quite after 11pm.
This site gets booked extremely quickly so booking is a must.

We love this site. It is beautiful, clean and extremely spacious.We have been for the past 4 years and our children didn't want to leave. Will book for longer next year.
The best site we have ever stayed in.Excellent walks with the family by the river.
The toilet blocks are very clean inside and out. Washing up facilities are very good too.
We never have to leave site as lots of space for family activities. Wooded area for children to make camps and play area for them too.

We stayed for a week in June and loved it.
There weren't many tents on site as it was term time and we were very, very lucky with the weather.
The tents that were there were placed well apart which meant everyone had loads of space and it was a lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
This was spoiled a bit for the last couple of nights when for some strange reason they placed a large family group with two large tents slap bang in the middle of the tent field! And to make it worse, the very, very strict 'one car per pitch' rule didn't seem to apply to two cars for two pitches being parked together on the side of one pitch - sounds petty but it meant that all the other tents then looked onto a car park rather than to trees.
The facilities on site are excellent and immaculate at all times.
The shop / reception are open til 7.30 pm and is well stocked.
There are loads of helpful staff, we'd particularly like to thank those who were around to help us out with our faulty gas bottle on the Sunday evening - they didn't have to, it was very kind.
The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful - loads to do and we will definitely be going back again.
It's much, much easier to get there using the A21 and going across on the 262 than it is to go via Maidstone (which is how the AA recommend that you go).

Superb very spacious site with excellent facilities. Beware pitching underneath cherry trees in June/July– the combination of indiscriminate birds and cherry stains can lead to a difficult cleaning job! There are water points at each hard standing, but waste water should still be taken to the disposal points. Staff are polite and efficient rather than overwhelmingly friendly, but this was not a problem. The entrance barrier is locked until 7am, so as we had an early ferry to catch we moved to the late arrivals area the evening before. We visited a number of NT properties during our stay, Sissinghurst, Scotney, Bateman’s, Small Hythe Place and Bodiam via the ES&K steam railway from Tenterden. All worthwhile – especially if you have the brilliant weather we enjoyed.
Overall, a terrific week at Tanner farm!

For a large Caravan Park we found this site excellent and the disabled facilities in the toilet block were very good.
Staff were very co-operative in providing us with a site near the toilet block and we were able to know just where we would be on booking.
Only problem we had was when visiting family in Tunbridge Wells we had to make sure we were back before the gates were closed as I could not have walked from the car park to our caravan.
Very good shop on site and not far from village for anything else. A very good base for a holiday in the Kent countryside.

The site was relly peaceful with good flat pitches, well laid out with good clean facilities. The kids enjoyed the play areas and the freedom to cycle around. They also enjoyed feeding the lambs and the rest of animals.
The staff were helpful and friendly (we did not experience any surly behaviour as mentioned by some other reviewers). There is also lots to do in the surrounding area. I would recommend this site and hope to return at some times in the future.

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend at tanner Farm. The kids had a great time and loved the animals and the park. Shop very useful although quite expensive for some items.
Very clean facilities and easy to use. Only disappointment was that having been told there were no spaces available for friends of ours we were next to at least 5 empty pitches.
Overall, efficient and clean site.

An excellent site. The pitch they offered us was a little patchy and rough the one next to us was in great condition they swapped us without any problem when we asked.
The toilet facilities were immaculate at kept that way pretty much all the time. The bin area was clean and cleared twice a day.
There is a children’s play area with basket ball hoop, climbing frame and a set of goal posts with plenty of space for them to play and ride bikes. The Recreation room is a great touch with TV, internet (40mins for £1), some board games and table football.
There are some beautiful walks set out and a guide you can buy from the site shop and there are sheep, goats, pigs and horses you can pet on the way round and an aviary.
The shop has a good supply of things you might need and I would definitely recommend you order the freshly baked bread for the morning.
Overall I would recommend this site to everyone I meet. Well done to everyone who works there

This was our first ever venture in our new Motor Home. We were apprehensive at first but found the staff to be friendly and answered our 'obvious questions ' without hesitation or 'ridicule' !
We found the site and facilities of an excellent standard. The toilets and showers could not be faulted. The Pitch sizes were very big (I'm sure they are not all that size on other camp sites) but it gave us a chance to experiment with the awning.
The site was quiet (even though we were there at the same time as the previous reviewer- who complained about their noisy neighbours). There is a lovely walk behind the site along the river and through the orchard groves.
This was definitely a good site to choose for our first outing, and we will definitely be returning.

This was our first outing in our trailer tent, we probably couldn't have picked a better site to go to. As many before us have said the site is spacious, the toilet blocks are clean and warm with dish washing facilities and washing machines
It's great for dogs (we have 2 beagles) with walks adjacent to the site and the bread in the morning was great. We'll being using this site again at some time in the future.

Toilet block (of which there are 2): very clean, good supply of hot water
Surroundings: heart of the countryside, very peaceful
Prior to and on arrival we were very much given the impression that the site was very strict on a lot of things.
We were very impressed with the generous pitch size and the cleanliness of the facilities.
Electric hook up was not working 1st thing on our first morning but later came back on. We had a word with the adjourning pitches who confirmed that they had experienced the same problem.
Had cause to complain about a neighbouring pitch (much worse than just the standard 'noise' complaint - it ruined our 2nd night and left our party including 3 primary school children feeling intimidated and threatened). Transpired that these were people who had been visited previously and had been complained about then too.
Many pros about this site, but we'd swap some of those for having a happy trip everytime, and in the end this trip will not be remembered as happy.

This site is wonderful. The pitches are well spaced and have trees between each pitch. The ground was flat and good for tent pegs. The facilities were spacious and clean, with everything you need. Washing up facilities are undercover and were always clean. The farm shop has fantastic fresh bread and the staff are delightful. We felt really at home and relaxed on this site. We shall definitely return.

This site is immaculate in its presentation, with large pitches, mostly hard-standing, and offers a landscaped, park-like atmosphere. There is, however, an underlying feeling of being watched by the owner, which can be a tad uncomfortable. There are also many signs dotted around telling people what not to do, and driving over the grass, even by accident, is not tolerated: you will be seen and reprimanded.
We visited with our pet rabbit, who at that time was living in his hutch inside a pup tent. One evening his tent was visited by an unknown 'creature' which pulled the entire contents of his tent out on to the grass, and ripped up a blanket and a bag we had left inside. Was this a fox? We cannot say. It was a mystery!
We felt the site was mostly used by regulars of the retiree category, many of whom had caravans stored on-site which were brought out for 'the season.' This may or may not be what you are looking for.
We really enjoyed the location, which is in open countryside with lots of good walking over the fields. However, it is tucked away with poor access, friendliness from the owner was not of the highest order, children and dogs were tolerated not enjoyed, and we felt on the whole it wasn't really worth the effort involved in getting there. We'll leave it to the oldies for now!

This is a lovely site, owners are welcoming. This offers luxury facilities, heated shower and toilet block, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as iron and board.
This is a big site that's always full and you need to book early to get on. Plenty of walks for you and your dogs. Children play area, animals for children to see. Well stocked shop selling basics. Lovely countryside, some nice places to visit like Goundhurst Staplehurst etc.
Nearest supermarket was in Maidstone, bit of a trek, shop in Coxheath, local butcher there sells lovely meat. Also Costcutters there
Would come here again

We spent long weekend here.
Was a fairly large site but never felt like it.
Staff were very helpful even helping us regarding walks as we have 2 large dogs and cant do stiles !
Toilets very clean and warm, with plenty of hot water.
Lovely walks around the site, one even goes via a pub !
The animals would be great for kids goats, pigs, shire horses, birds and sheep, as are the play areas.
All in all we will deff be going back
