Wow what a beautiful place, view to die for. Well kept site immaculate grass and clean toilets and showers. Had to queue for a shower but they are planning on building a new block. Cannot fault the hospitality of Jon and Terri, the owners, who are always available and helpful. This is a paradise for dogs, with all the exercise space they need. A perfect base to explore Cornwall. This is an adult only site from this year which is ideal for us oldies whose children are gown up and no disturbance for the dogs. Recommended for dog lovers. If you do not like dogs not really the best place for you.

What a fantastic site close to some superb places to visit here are just a few Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow by ferry from Rock.
The owners Jon and Terri welcome you with a cup of tea and that is the start of your holiday, they will help in any way possible, they make you so welcome you will feel like part of the family when you leave.
They are in the process of starting to build a new shower block which will be great, they have two showers at the moment which are ok there was never a queue.
Fish and chips from close by Delabole were great.
The views are great and lots of friendly rabbits to watch.

Nice friendly site in a super location. There are a couple of decent pubs within a short drive which do good food if you are feeling too lazy to cook! (well we were on holiday!)
It is well situated for exploring this part of Cornwall and there is some lovely coastline & pretty little harbour villages not too far away as well as the moor.
Facilities are pretty basic but adequate and seemed well maintained whilst we were there. The owners are friendly & welcoming, if a bit regimented but on the plus side it is a pretty quiet site and not plagued by the noisy chavvy types that can make some sites a bit of a nightmare.
The only down side for us was the weather, unfortunately it rained almost constantly so we decided reluctantly to bail out & head to drier climes eastwards but the site was very nice and to be recommended.
We will be back when the weather improves.

Another great two weeks of peace and quiet and fantastic views. Dog made new friends and we feel so much better.
No club-house, no young screaming kids, no late night noise (a little road noise but not a lot).
Toilet/shower block basic but clean. New ones should be built soon.
An absolute gem of a caravan site that has its rules and as long as there followed then all will be fine. This is to allow everyone to enjoy the site not the disruptive few.
Will return again. And again.

Excellent Site - lovely views of Bodmin Moor, generous pitch, very helpful owners, adequate loos (old but clean) with the promise of new ones soon!
A little road noise but this is no way a big issue. Very few rules and regs. Brilliant for dogs as they can run free at the bottom of the field as long as you are in control of them and pick up of course!
Jon will even drive you to the local pub and collect afterwards which we thought was above and beyond but he said he didn't mind!
We had heavy rain whilst there and the ground drained very well so no problems. It is a quiet site, with little for children.
Good location for seeing the area -coast, moor, walks and some good eating pubs/restaurants. Do you get the feeling we enjoyed it!

Fairly quiet site aimed mostly at adults.
Nice large pitches with excellent views, friendly owner with some rules explained over a cup of tea on arrival.
Main problem was there are only 2 showers built in the owners garage at the far end of the field.
Instead of rebuilding he has decided to knock up tempory toilets on top of 'PALLETT BOX'S' near by. Got the idea he was a bit of a bodge it and doing things on the cheap, which is all ok until your charged £30 a night for the privilege !

Enjoyed ten days at Rosebud Farm with our touring caravan. The site is clean and well run. The owners are very friendly and make everyone very welcome. The showers and toilets are basic but adequate.
The site has spectacular views and is very convenient.
We intended staying a few days and moving further west, but St. Ives and The Lizard are within driving distance so we stayed longer.
We had a minor problem with our caravan although it was new. Jon made a part and helped me to fit it.
We will visit again.

We've just got back from another fabulous few days at Rosebud Farm and have already decided we'll return in October - which will be our fourth visit.
The site is very peaceful - albeit there is some noise from the road that runs alongside the site but not enough to worry about. The views are absolutely stunning and the pitches very generous.
The EHU pitches are mainly placed at the top of the field beside the hedge giving the best views and some shelter should it be windy. Facilities are basic but clean - there were some queues in the mornings but we are talking peak season. The site owners, Jon and Terri who are absolutely lovely, have just been granted planning permission to build a new sanitary block - well done to them!
Jon, once again, kindly drove us to the pub in St Teath for dinner, and then picked us up again when we'd finished. What fantastic service.
A word of warning to those that are looking for an all singing all dancing site - Jon and Terri have very strict, clear rules around noise i. E. Make any and they will kick you off! Perfect for us but if you are looking for somewhere to party or have loud, unruly children, this site is not for you. There are no children's play facilities albeit they can fly kites and play ball within the vast amount of empty field - providing they don't annoy other campers.
We love it and I am sure those that like a rural peaceful site will too.

Terry and Jon made us very welcome even had a choice of milk for our welcome cup of tea. Our pitch was perfect with a beautiful view. The showers and toilets were very clean.
Jon was very helpful because we had a problem with our camper and he was very willing to help. Jon and Terry have good knowledge of the area and are willing to help in any way to make your stay a very pleasant one.
Rosebud Farm is very central and within easy reach of favoured beauty spots.

We spent three nights of our honeymoon here. It's a lovely well kept campsite with amazingly beautiful views.
The site was very quite, being the week after half term. John and Terri were very welcoming with a cup of tea and friendly chat when we arrived.
Unlike other reviews I didn't feel like the cup of tea was a lecture or a chance to tell us all the rules. We were made to feel very welcome with some great recommendations for places to visit.
The campsite is very well maintained with really clean facilities. John and Terri offer the flexibility to pitch where you want and because it wasn't busy we were told not to rush to leave the campsite on our morning of departure and as a result ended up staying until midday.
It was very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be returning again. My favourite in the area for sure.

We visited this site, initially for 5 nights but eventually stayed for another five. We were initially cautious about noise after reading previous reviews, but our fears were gone after the first night, an occasional tractor, which is to be expected in the heart of the country side is all we heard.
The site is quiet and well set out and is run by Terri and Jon, two very nice and very helpful people. Our dog walk round the site was often interrupted by the offer of a cup of tea or coffee!
The toilet and shower block was always very clean with free hot showers - no going cold when your £1 coin expires as is often the case on many sites.
We had a technical problem with the caravan and Jon gave a couple of hours to fix it for us.
The site has only one or two rules, like locking the gates at 11pm - an excellent idea to prevent headlights shining through tents after bed time. The site has no facilities for children playing, so this added to the quiet nature of the site.
From the site we were well placed to drive out and explore the majority of cornwall although we did spend most of our time within about twenty miles radius - the area is full of places to visit; Port Isaac is a must - we didn't meet Doc Martin but you never know! Padstow is nearby and some wonderful surfing on beaches some five miles from the site.
The site is well placed for nearby pubs with good beer and good food and most of them made dogs welcome.
We will certainly be returning to Rosebud Farm next year

This is a very new site I believe, which was interesting. The location was wonderful, with breathtaking views towards the sea. We stayed for one night with a hook up and the site was almost empty.
Very cheap rates too. When we arrived the owner made us tea and showed us around the site. We did feel as if we were being vetted though and she locks the gates of the site at 11.00 so you have to be home by then!
Two unisex showers which were clean, but unisex is a mistake I think as the last thing I wanted to do in the morning after coming out of the shower was to bump into a man who had just used the loo! Despite the low occupancy of the site, I waited for 15 minutes to use a shower in the morning. There are no washing up facilities either, so take a bowl.
Nearby Port Issac is worth a visit.

After a few tenting holidays at 'holiday group' type sites where we found we did not use the add on facilities such as pool / nightclub / fast food / etc, we were fed up with being kept awake half the night by drunken groups and wailing kids. So we deliberately looked for a no-frills quiet site within our preferred location on the north cornwall coast
All we wanted was the location, so that we could tour around the area each day and relax at night, electric hook-up, clean showers and peace and quiet.
We booked 5 nights at the end of June 2011, after reading reviews at UKCampsite.co.uk even some of the negative comments made by some of the more critical reviews about the gate closing between 11pm at night and 9am and not enough for kids to do read as positives to us.
We were welcomed with a cup of tea by John the sites owner, he gave us a walked tour of the site where we were shown the facilities and given a choice of plots to pitch on, including some advice about the general wind direction so as best to line up the tent.
The field was well kept, mown like a stately home lawn. The toilet and showers were always kept clean throughout our stay. Unlike other reviewers comments we never had to wait for a shower for any longer than a couple of minutes.
The view across cornwall from the site was superb. The owners were friendly and helpful and they left us alone to enjoy our camping break without any interference. Rosebud Farm ticked all our boxes and we are more than likely to return.

As other campers have said received a warm welcome from Jon. Jon and Terri were very hospitable throughout our stay
We did not realise there had been a downpour just before we arrived so parking the van on the flat area at the top of the field was challenging
Jon helpfully took the van for a power wash and then drove the van to a spot of our choice
He also helped us with advice on where we could walk so we could use the coast path. Tried to go to Port Isaac but had to turn back when we were mobbed by a herd of cattle who did not like our dogs. Walk to Trebarwith was great with lovely views and nice pub food
View from the campsite was magnificent and the facilities were good although glad we were there when the site was quiet
We found the shops in Delabole had good stocks and had a good meal at the Bettle and Chisel. Did not go into St Teath
We enjoyed our stay and met some very nice fellow campers. Our one reservation was the group who pitched very close to us on the last night although there was plenty of space. One of them stared into our van every time he went past!

We visited the Rosebud farm touring park in August 2010 with small tent for myself and my girlfriend and a dog.
On travelling to the site we had a phone call from Terry asking us how close we were so that she should know when to put the kettle on for a cup of tea for us !.This was just the start of a week of amazing hospitality from the site owners John and Terry.
The site was perfect for us, clean toilets. Well kept field and very quiet free of the commercial feel of some sites in the south west.
The site is close to the main attractions of the north coast.
John even drove us to a local pub one evening and picked us up latter in the evening enabling us to have a drink !
We had a fantastic week in cornwall even though the weather was not so kind. And this was certainly due mainly to our choice of camp site.
If we visit this area again there is no question that we will visit stay at this site.
