 For starters we didn’t dislike anything. Absolute peace and tranquillity.
Toilet facilities are great, location for us was perfect enabling us to support a family member on holiday in the area.
Initially booked for 5 nights but had the opportunity to stay so ended up with 9.
Lovely welcome, local advice and a smashing cheerio from Jon and Terri. Thank you.
Would definitely recommend.

On arrival was shown around by Jon before, able to choose our pitch, when we were happy paid £31 per night,
Such a beautiful site, dog was allowed off the lead around the park which was an absolute bonus for us,
Huge pitches has they don't like to over crowd the park which was so pretty,
Would've loved to stay longer but we had prebooked other parks around Cornwall to see all the attractions but such a wonderful site 😀

Very friendly help full couple run the site. Excellent toilet shower facilities and pitch sizes.
First field incredible views. But second field ( the one we were in) had no views and a little noisy with passing traffic.
Overall very good campsite. Shop pub close by. Only real prob is that they DO NOT not make it clear on their web site that the main gate to site is locked from 11 pm to 9 am. We were told this after paying.
Personally it did not effect us but others did want to be up and leave camp site earlier. There is no leeway on this. The gate is never unlocked before 9am.

We loved how quiet this campsite is and how relaxed the owners were about allowing our cocker spaniel to have freedom to explore ( which actually meant he stayed pretty close to our camper van without having to nag him).
We chose a pitch at the bottom of the hill which did make for a bit of a hike up to the shower block but was lovely and sunny.
Delabole itself is a bit run down but we were glad to support the curry night and we all really enjoyed the beaches and cliff walks.
Best shower block we’ve experienced on a campsite !
No washing up facilities but honestly it wasn’t a big deal and everything else made up for it.

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at Rosebud Farm and could not recommend the site more highly. Jon and Teri are lovely people, very helpful, with excellent local knowledge. On arrival Jon guided us to the best pitch for ‘views’ and helped to level the caravan. The shower block is of luxury quality and kept spotlessly clean.
Unlike some of the previous reviewers, we had read the booking terms and conditions before visiting, which are clearly displayed on the site's website. We knew that the site was adults only (a bonus as we both work in schools and although we love our jobs, it’s nice for us to have a break from kids).
We knew that the fairy lights would have to stay locked away, but who needs fairy lights when you can lie back and marvel at the milky way in the beautiful, light pollution free, night sky. We knew that mixing with campers was not permitted and tried to adhere to this without seeming rude to our fellow campers. This rule is a little strange, perhaps a designated area could be set up, away from the house to allow people to chat.
What we didn’t know was just how dog friendly the site is. Our dog and others were allowed to run happily around the field, which has several poo bins so you can clean up after them with ease. We also didn’t know how fabulous the free wifi connection is.
I took a laptop to be able to research holiday activities, but we were also able to watch a film because the connection was so good. We also didn’t know quite how chilled and relaxed we would both feel after staying at Rosebud Farm.
The road behind is a little noisy, but nothing too terrible. The White Hart in the village is a 20 min walk and serves lovely food, with huge portions. There is no footpath, but as long as you hug the hedge, drivers usually slow down as they pass you. To be fair, there are very few footpaths along roads in Cornwall.
The Tintagel Brewery, just outside Delabole on the road to Tintagel is worth a visit. The beer is lovely and the wagyu steak for sale is top quality.
The Hilltop Farm shop and Cafe, Slaughterbridge (10 min drive) do the best cooked breakfast, including several veggie options. Port Isaac is quaint, but the main car park is a long way from the harbour. Padstow is easier to find parking or go to Rock, park and get the foot ferry over to Padstow.
We went to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, which is dog friendly, a longer drive, but only 50mins and had the best fish and chips ever on the harbour at Mevagissey afterwards. Fresh cooked haddock, mackerel and scallops, with crispy chips yum!

This is a very nice kept site.
The toilets and showers are immaculate.
Owners are very friendly. Not the site for you if you like to get together with friends as the site has its own rules and are very strict about the rules they have.
There is no Washing up facilities.
We met some lovely people and there was a lot to do in the area.

Site was well kept, shower block and WCs are spotless. A bit of a long walk from some pitches. No mains drainage, so has no pot wash or grey water disposal, "dump it in the hedge" the owner told us. It is adults only so no noise from families, and dogs are allowed.
The site is not really in walking distance from anywhere useful, and the road outside has some fast traffic. So you need a car or bikes. There is also some traffic noise if you are on the roadside pitches. Dog walking is really limited to the field on site, as there are no local paths to go on.
The owner doesn't allow groups (two caravans mixing) or noise, he told our neighbour to turn his radio off as it was too loud. This was at 17. 45.
My only gripe is the owner locks the gates from 11pm until 9am, so you cannot leave until he unlocks them at 9am.

Dogs welcome & great exercise space for them
No washing up facilities due to no main drains but isn’t an issue.
Gates locked between 11pm & 9am so no early morning getaways
No recycling which we found strange

This was a fabulous campsite. John was friendly and helpful, the campsite was clean and spacious, toilet block immaculate (others have mentioned the doorbell-social-distancing-thing),
Our one night booking (due to walking the coast path) wasn't a problem, and John even showed us the way out when the gates were locked in case we wanted an early start (we didn't!)
This was such a peaceful and restful place and we look forward to coming back! If I had to pick one negative, it would just be the distance from the Coast Path - felt like a long way at the end of the day!

Amenities were spot on, we chose a lovely pitch in the corner of the second field.
We stayed 5 nights and didn't want to leave.

Excellent site - well kept, great views, well placed to get around and some easily accessible walks from site.
Only drawback is the occasional road noise if you're pitched on the side nearest the road.

Of 5 sites visited on a recent holiday, this is the only one I would never return to. Like quite a few previous reviewers, we found that the rules imposed by the site owners to be somewhat odd at best, and at worst draconion.
The one about not conversing with any other site residents was the real clincher. Had thought it was something to do with Covid, but only from reading historic reviews subsequently did we find this rule has been in existence pre-Covid. I'm at a complete loss as to why you would ever have such a rule in place and at best it's just plain bizarre, whilst at worst it's quite sinister!
Fortunately we were only staying for one night, and not having to leave early with the gates being locked till 9. 00 am. We felt uncomfortable being there and were very happy to leave. I really don't understand how anyone could stay a few nights there with such a regime in place.
Whilst the views were good, we were given a pitch on the far field, with poorer views and a long trek to the toilets, especially at night with no lighting on the site.
Overall it's just a glorified campsite and not that suitable for caravans and motorhomes with poor facilities apart from the washrooms (lovely tiling as the owners pointed out!). No grey water waste facility and seems to be no proper recycling facilities.
Also cost was high at £25 for night compared to some others who had better facilities but at a lower cost.
Overall, okay for 1 night at a push, but that's about it

A spacious site where you were allowed to choose your own pitch. Good views across the countryside. Shower and toilet facilities were exceptionally clean but it was disappointing that there were no washing up or laundry facilities, given the price of a pitch.
Although we hadn't had to pay in advance for our 7 night stay, we were disappointed with the lack of flexibility when we explained that we could only stay for 6 nights because of a problem that had developed the night before with our car.
The only appointment we could get to fix it with the authorised dealer (arranged as we drove to the site) necessitated a change of plan but we still had to pay for 7 nights.
We appreciate the need for some security on a site but felt under scrutiny every time we left or entered the site as on our return one day, the owner immediately walked across to our caravan and questioned us about a third person that he thought he had seen in our car.
Despite the cleanliness of the site we would not return.
