 Lovely stay!

If youíre looking for a safe, secure, clean and welcoming stay then this is the perfect spot; Jon and Terri have done such a wonderful job to make you feel as at home, as you can do, with camping!

Clean and 247 heated showers and toilets (& a great bell service for ensuring social distancing when entering), an entry gate which is locked between 11PM-9AM giving you a sense of security whist sleeping & a warm, welcoming feeling from arrival to departure from Jon, Terri and Daisy the dog :)

Couldnít have asked for anything more!

The campsite is also a great location for those wanting to explore North Cornwall, with some great pubs & farm shops nearby :)

Thanks for a great stay at Rosebud Farm! We will definitely be back :)

Loved it. John and Terri were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Beautiful pitches in a beautiful area.

The toilet/shower blocks were spotlessly clean.

Will DEFINITELY be going back next year 10 out of 10

Great location, very well groomed site, with top notch toilet and shower facilities.

Very quiet and peaceful site, great owner Jon, very helpful.

Shame the atrocious weather spoilt our holiday.

Will definitely go again.

Excellent dog friendly campsite. Owners very friendly and welcoming and also great with local advice.

Large area for the dog to run around and they didnít have to be on a lead either which was great

We arrived to be met by Jon in the office, he walked us around the pitches available and pointed out the features of them all. We decided on a pitch in the smaller but more intimate top field overlooking the stunning moors.

The pitches are all around the same size 10m x 10m some with electric hookup some without the choice is yours. We set up and then did a tour of the facilities. The shower blocks Male & Female both have 3 showers, 3 WCís and 3 basins & a wall mounted hairdryer.

The owners have set up a ďdoorbell systemĒ on entry to the facilities so you have pre warning of someone entering so you can stand aside and let them in before you exit. All the showers are individual so you maintain the Covid regulations. A sanitiser station is situated outside of the blocks for ease.

The top field pitches are all level and the grass is kept trimmed and maintained. Fresh water is always available but no washing up facilities are provided so itís boil a kettle and take your own washing up bowel!

Jon and Terri maintain very strict rules about arrival times. The main gates to the camp are locked secure at 11pm and are not opened until 9am with no exceptions! If you want an early start to visit somewhere you are advised to park your car/van outside of the gate the previous night and itís climbing the gate to get out before the 9am release.

The owners will not accept group bookings of family or friends as they want to maintain the relaxing and quite atmosphere, which I can understand. The Covid measures required are in place and provided you act sensibly you will be quite safe.

Jon and Terri work very hard to maintain the look and feel of the camp and itís was always clean sanitised and tidy in the washrooms. Some great local sites to visit and spectacular beaches are not to far away.

Overall a great site if you want a relaxing safe stay.

Lovely site quiet and spectacular views.

Well organised for the covid 19 safety precautions.

Would be better if there was washing facilities such as a washing machine and pot washing facilities.

Caravan site itself is really nice with lovely views and good location, however it is let down by the way it is run and managed. The owners are overly strict especially as it is an adults only site; he treats people like naughty children and can be intimidating.

If you read the good reviews itís because they have not had any/much interaction with the owners. If you like strict discipline with draconian rules this is the site for you. You cannot be let off the site till 9am so there will be a queue to get out, and God forbid you arrive after 6pm - you wonít be let on.

If you are planning to stay on this site READ THE BAD REVIEWS first so you wonít be shocked or disappointed.

Relaxing, spacious site with free wi-fi and a superb off- lead dog policy.

No hassle on site from other dogs and no dog barking as all dogs are very relaxed.

Biggest dog exercise field ever ! Superb shower block.

Great local walks, friendly, helpful owners.

Wish we had booked 2 weeks not just 1 !

We have spent 8 lovely days at Rosebud Farm. Jon and Terri run their site by themselves and work hard to keep the facilities clean and tidy. They are also very welcoming and go out of their way to help with any queries or problems.

The site is conveniently located with a beautiful panoramic view across towards Bodmin Moor and a large field in front of the pitches which is great for exercising dogs. The local village, St Teath, is a 10 min walk downhill and has a butchers, cafe, small shop and pub.

The only drawback is that the road past the site, although a 'B' road, is a cut through and can get a little noisy with cars although this didn't bother us too much and it was quiet at night.

There are many attractions nearby but one of our favourite places was the nearest beach, Tregardock, which is quiet and secluded. This is because there is a long, steep, rocky climb down and back up which is not for the fainthearted but well worth it.

Thank you Jon and Terri - we will be back!
