The welcome we received on arrival was very friendly. This however was not enough to compensate for our disappointment in the site.
Visitors should be aware that there are only two showers on this site and that the toilets and showers are mixed sex not separate.
There are no facilities for washing up.
If you have children this site is best avoided as the owner will not tolerate noise of any kind and is not really child friendly so not a site for a family holiday.
There is a road which runs next to the site which is quite busy with traffic noise most of the time.

Do go to this site if you want a friendly welcome, a well maintained site, lovely views, a clean shower block, no noisy stereos and no children playing noisy games.
Don't go to this site if you want to play cricket with the kids, or if you are bothered by road noise at night.
This site places great emphasis on absolute quiet and so it's not a site for families with lively children. Had we realised how quiet the site owner wanted it we would have booked a different site where we could relax more.

Rosebud is a lovely site. I stayed there with some friends for a couple of nights 4th & 5th July at a time when the weather was atrocious, however, when I arrived after a long drive Jon made a welcome cup of coffee and showed me to a pitch where I would get the maximum protection from the 40/50 m.P.H. Winds that were blowing. His advice was spot on and I pitched the tent in shelter from the strong winds. There was no avoiding the rain, which came down for 36 hours without stopping, but the great thing was despite all the rain there were no signs water logged pitches or of any mud. The drainage on site is superb. The bathrooms were lovely and clean and well maintained. As an added bonus Jon drove us down to St. Teath and then picked us up at the end of the night. That is true customer service. The site is ideally located for the local attractions in the area and has some stunning views. I shall definitely be going back to this site.

This is a real gem of a campsite in a beautiful (& less popular) part of Cornwall. We had a lovely few days here (despite the rain!). When you arrive you are welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee and a very friendly chat with the owners. You are given a tour of the site and the choice of where to pitch. The site is very quiet with only about 20 or so pitches. Although there is no playground, our kids had great fun running up and down the big hill. There's plenty of space for the children to run around.
It is close to beaches and the lovely village of Port Isaac (best Fish & Chips we've ever tasted!). It's within easy reach of Padstow & the Camel trail. The owner will also give you a lift to a great local pub for a meal & drink & collect you later. What service!
The only drawback was the toilet/washing facilities, it was a bit of a trek to get there (mainly because we camped in the other field, you can camp closer), especially at night & with children. The toilets were in the same room as the showers, which was a problem once or twice when both showers were occupied. Having said that the toilet/shower facilities are very clean and warm! Separate toilets facilities are due to be built this year. This is a campsite one which we will return to!

This was our very first stay at a Camping & Caravan C.S. Since we joined, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 15.Night stay at Jon & Terrys site. The first thing that hits you is the wide panoramic views from the Field you first enter, and then your made at home straight away,Jon makes you a cup of Tea ! hows that for service ? This is a very quiet site from the word go,jon insists on this with children and adults alike. You have 16.Amp hook-ups 2.Toilets 2.Showers 2.Elsan Chemical Waste Points and Views you could only wish for If you like a drink in the evenings but are put off by drink driving, not a problem, Jon takes you down the Pub in St.Teath and picks you up. If you like Cycling as we do, the Camel Trail is 7.Miles from the site and there is a lovely beach called Trebarwith Strand only couple of miles from site, in this area you are central to most places of interest depending on what takes your fancy. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will return before the years out weather permitting many regards Conqueror.

Fabulous campsite a 'real find'. Beautifully kept and clean family shower rooms. The owners Jon and Teri are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, nothing is too much trouble. On arrival the cup of tea was very welcome after hours in the car! The site is well placed for the north Cornwall beaches and the units are spaced well apart and around the perimeter of the field so that children can play in sight of their parents, but far enough away not to disturb everyone. We will be returning!

We stayed at Rosebud Farm Touring Park for 2 weeks at the beginning of August. The campsite owners, Jon and Terri, made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived, Jon made cup of tea as soon as we had set up which we really enjoyed after an 8 hour journey from Manchester. We were struggling to get our awning to fit right, (only 2nd time we had used it) tempers were getting frayed, and Jon came over to help without us having to ask, "part of the service" he told us when the job was finished. We had fantastic views from our caravan and could see Buzzards flying in the distance, we were fortunate enough to see the meteor shower and shooting stars while we were there. The campsite has 2 showers and toilets set in family size bathrooms, which are brand new and are kept very clean and tidy, the only downside being that there was a queue at peak times, but I know Jon and Terri are looking to remedy this for next year. There are plenty of electric hook-ups and a chemical waste disposal tank. All the campers on the site were friendly and the site was really quiet at the night time so we got a really good nights sleep after our busy days. Delabole has recycling facilities for any "green" campers. There are a few good shops selling basic provisions in St. Teath and Delabole which are about a mile away from the campsite in opposite directions. There is a petrol station in Delabole and we found the price of fuel quite reasonable. The White Hart Inn in St Teath is a really friendly pub that does good food, good portion sizes for a good price. There are some good beaches nearby like Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath for the surfers and boogie boarders but Bude, Newquay, Perranporth etc. Are very easily reached within approximately 30 minutes. Port Isaac, where Doc Martin was filmed, is a beautiful fishing village and the cliff top walk has outstanding views, I believe the chip shop in the village sells really good fish and chips. Another interesting place to visit is Padstow which is only about 20 minutes away. The town of Wadebridge is not too far away and has a couple of supermarkets, chemists, surf shops, bike hire for the Camel Trail etc. All told we had a fantastic holiday for a fantastic price, got to know the owners Jon and Terri and will definitely be going back next year.
