Stayed at this site for a couple of nights on the way to Fort William (Bunree). It was a very clean site with good facilities. We had a river pitch which looked really calm on the Saturday but after heavy rain on the Sunday the river rose. The ducks were very friendly and there were lots of them. There was a good pub as you left the site on the right hand side. Served good food at very reasonable prices. When we visited there was live music as well. Upthe roadthere was a good Co-Op which sold everything you could want. There was also a good restaurant which served cream teas and evening meals which overlooked the river. Would go back as this is a good stop over on the way to Fort William.

Highly recommended, the site is in a fabulous location on the bank of the river and a short walk away from the stunning Loch Tay.

Good facilities, level spacious pitches and a short walk from the pubs and restaurants of Killin.

Great area for walking and the scenery is breathtaking.

Clean facilities and helpful wardens.

A good base or stop over for exploring Scotland and not far from Loch Lommond.

There is a well stocked co-op in the village for essentials and a local butcher visits the site twice a week with local produce.

Well worth a visit.

The setting of this site is absolutely stunning, there is a river running down the edge of the site which could be doing with a fence as the embankment is very steep and could be dangerous for young children. Now more good bits. You can fish on the river free of charge inside the campsite boundary's which was a plus for me. The toilets were very clean and there were plenty showers and the washrooms. The pitches are all hard standings which was great as you weren't constantly brushing up grass from your floor.
Killin is only a short walk, I think it was less then a mile where you a selection of shops.
Across from the site was a pub, and the night we were there there was live music and the place was full. A memorable night was had by all.
If you use this site you wont be disappointed.

In many ways this is a lovely site. The setting is beautiful, with hills all round and a river running by. It's a short walk into Killin, which is very attractive and has adequate shops; there is also a good pub just opposite the entrance, excellent beer. Good centre for exploring, as you can drive SW into the Trossachs or NE to Highland Perthshire, all within easy reach. Facilities are first class: it is a CC site after all! Definitely book; it was very full while we were there, even in September, with a small overflow field in use at the weekend.

On the down side, the site is right by the road, and although the road isn't exactly busy, there is some noise, especially on roadside pitches early in the morning. We were unfortunate to have atrociously wet weather for most of our stay, and I would strongly recommend choosing a pitch towards the higher, top end of the site, farthest from the entrance. Lower pitches were very wet while we were there.

Yet another great CC site.

The setting by the river was great as was the all round scenery. Plenty local walks for all abilities.

The facilities were all well kept and tidy.
The children loved the play park and as we were pitched just down from it meant they spent every spare minute there.

Killin has plenty little shops and we really enjoyed the Old Coach House pub at the end of the drive. Great food for all the family and Cider on tap!

We wished that we had stayed here and not moved on.

This is a Caravan Club site so toilets and wardens are up to the usual high standard. Quiet site with river adjacent and near walking, cycling and canoeing areas, reasonable size pitches - all are hard standing so no tents.

Nice but ordinary site in area of scenic beauty. Co-op up the road does excellent French bread and a short walk into Killin.
