We stayed here for 4 nights on a hard-standing plus grass pitch, as the owners preferred us not to have a grass pitch due to the wet weather.
The toilets and showers were regularly cleaned, even though there was only one other unit present.
Unfortunately, the weather was quite cold and windy and as the site is high up, it was more windy than down at sea-level.
Ann and her husband were friendly, but not in any way intrusive.
There is a fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine (paying). We took our recycling home as we didn't see any facilities for it.
Down in Crackington Haven there is a good cafe, The Cabin Cafe, which does breakfast, lunches and teas and is open every day of the year, except Christmas.
You can walk from this campsite onto the Coast Path and to St Gennys Church.

Peaceful setting,
Great facilities and nothing is too much trouble for the owners.

Another fantastic visit to this site, which is fast becoming our favourite. Only a fleeting visit, but still a great 1. Owners are a lovely friendly couple and nothing is to much trouble.
Pitches are large and on a very small slope, but nothing to worry about.
A small park and open play area is great for kids to mingle and play.
Surrounded by hedges make it a sun trap. Nice facilities, which are kept clean although only 2 showers each.
The area is great to visit. Several beaches are within 10 mins drive and loads of places to visit are within easy reach.
We will be returning for our 2 week summer camp.

Great location - 15 mins to Boscastle and Bude - in a very quiet hamlet. Walk or drive to local beach, with plenty others near by.
Small site, surrounded by hedge with play area in the woods on site and another in the middle of the site too. Great for children.
Very friendly owners - and guests.
Quite campsite - no music.
Only 2 ladies showers and 2 ladies loos, but despite this, didn't have to queue.

My stepson and his family stayed here last year and loved it so much they booked it again for this year and we said we would join them. We were delighted when we found out that the campsite was open and we could go camping as planned.
It’s a small but lovely, well-maintained site with very clean facilities. Rod and Anne have put measures in place to keep their visitors safe (limiting the number of people who can use the toilets and showers at any one time, hand washing/sanitising facilities and extra large pitches).
The site is situated a short drive away from Crackington Haven beach, which is great for surfers and has a large expanse of sand when the tide is out. As it’s not a very big beach, it never seemed to get crowded.
We would definitely recommend Boscastle Farm Shop which has a lovely outdoor cafe, delicious food, great service and a great well-stocked shop. We went to Padstow for a sea life safari but didn’t hang around in the town afterwards as it was way too busy for us but the ice creams from Rick Stein’s shop were the best.

A very good campsite that is easily accessible and in a good location for local places and attractions to visit.
Very friendly welcome by the site's owners and the facilities were very clean and tidy, especially given the current climate.
As a solo traveler on a motorbike I found it a good place to rest for the night, and the owners were happy about my bike being on the site.
Would highly recommend.

Great site and good utilities. Made for a very pleasant stay.
Short trip to Bude and surrounding area and a bit longer to the Padstow area but not an uncomfortable drive.

It was January and very cold whilst I stopped here, so I didn't see a great deal of the site between using the facilities and diving into my van to keep warm.
It did appear to be a nice little site and the owners were very friendly and welcomed with open arms. The facilities are a bit dated, but were very clean and the shower was both powerful and warm which is so welcome after a long walk along the coast path.
Not a great deal around the site, but there is a handy bus stop just over the road, so that will do.
The site was obviously well established and I can imagine in the spring and summer it would be a most charming place to stay, but thanks for being open in the bleak mid-winter for odd-balls like me who prefer Cornwall at this time of year.
