We visited Bosworth Lakes and touring park initially for 8 nights over the Easter period, taking two caravans, my daughter taking the second.
The reception were so helpful during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you.
The site is large with most of it set aside for the lodges they are introducing. They looked nice but its not for us.
The camping site was spread out, with plenty of room on the pitches, pretty much all had EHU. Rubbish, Elsan and grey waste were all together (for a change) so removal of these was no issue.
The site is next to a 20 acre lake which holds a number of water sport activities including sailing, model r/c sailing, and so on. All supervised. If you camp, the fishing on the lake is free and there seems to be a good head of carp to keep anglers occupied.
All in all, a very nice site which (I have no doubt) we shall visit again in the future.

We enjoyed a very peaceful and pleasant night here, very conveniently located for visiting our relatives.
The pitch was level and right by the lakeside with happy looking ducks and waterfowl all around. The electricity hookup worked perfectly and there was freshwater at the pitch.
The toilet and shower block were clean and worked well, and the shower block was heated - very welcome. There was a waste water and chemical toilet disposal point, and a very friendly reception.
The site had a good mobile signal and provided a very attractive environment. Recommended!

Situated just to the west of Market Bosworth on the B585. Entry is on the right of a minor road 100 yards down from the B585.
Site consists of lodges near to the entrance and a security barrier which you get the code for with your booking confirmation. The reception office is through another barrier on the right at the end of the main lake.
There are shower and toilet facilities beyond the office but are only open later in the season. The other faclities are on the left at the head of the touring pitches section. They are older but adequate and are cleaned twice daily.
Pitches consist of a gravelled hard standing section with an adjacent grassy area. Due to the amount of rain since the New Year, the grass had turned into a quagmire and the approach road was also muddy in places. Electrical points are near the pitches and water points are also conveniently placed.
The lakes are quite large and fishing is included in the price. Canoes and pedalo's are also available to hire, or you can bring your own. There is a lot of waterfowl on the lakes too.
We only used it as a stopover for visiting the NEC but it could be a nice site to explore the locality especially when it gets warmer and drier!

We had a great time. We use our own paddle board and kayak, which was free to go on the lake.
Some lovely places to cycle to.
The toilet and shower block were lovely warm and clean.
We have already booked to go back.

We just wanted a place to stay on our way back home, the cost for a single night on a grass pitch with electric was £49 so expected luxury, there is a massive construction program going on producing beautiful lodges but.
The touring area is surrounded by permanent tourers in fenced off areas with obviously people staying permanently such as vans with business names stopping to drop their tools off etc.
The pitches are a good size but the facilities haven't been updated since the '70s, to say disappointed is putting it mildly. One of the showers could not be locked, the mirror over the sink has been removed and not replaced, What are they charging for?
The location is OK but the walk into the village is along a long busy road.
There are lakes but they charge extra for everything.
There is a crazy golf course but it was so covered in weeds and dead leaves it was unusable.
Worth about £15 a night at a push, unless you have a requirement for a large pitch.

2 families. 2adults -2older children
2 adults 3 older children.
Sites got plenty of space and it’s more than peaceful.
However at this time of yr there’s very little to do but that suits us just sitting in front of the tv eating and drinking.
Plenty to do off site especially animal related such as zoo. Tropical Bird land. Short drive into various local towns.
Welcoming on site was very good and informative. Elson and rubbish area clearly signed and toilet/washing area looked clean warning very hot water signs should be in place as water was burning hot.
Only let down is the weather but that’s uk for us.
Probably won’t use again but will decide during hot weather as it’s location is good for us
Price was fair and size of pitch generous no problem with power other than having to use extra long lead as other vans seemed to use all the ones by our van pitch. Not a problem but wondering what will happen if site is fully booked

Site seems to be concentrating on the new lodges rather than the touring side which seemed very run down.
The shower facilities left a lot to be desired and certainly not worth the price charged - that said pitch sizes were generous and had a pleasant stay.

We booked a 2 night stay at this caravan touring site, we were emailed the gate entry and exit code along with our pitch number after making the full payment, prior to visiting the site.
We arrived on site and we set up our motorhome ready for the weekend, with no wardens to greet or guide us, which was fine as we knew what we were doing.
The pitches are numbered, with 16A EHU, with a tap for each unit parked at the pitch.
The toilet and shower block in my opinion, needs updating and extending, there is only one stand alone shower, there is another sited within a toilet and wash basin room.
The town is a short walk away (about 15 minutes walk), there are three pubs, a number of cafes and restaurants along with a couple of general stores.
We had a pleasant stay but we will not be returning as we found there was not much for us to do in the area, the prices charged for drinks in the pubs was expensive, taxis were difficult to book (we were not able to book a taxi at all) and the local transport was running on an hourly basis.
It's a dog friendly site,
Our children are now all grown up so we cannot comment on child friendly site.

We have visited this site before however it has changed a lot and we are not sure if we liked it this time.
Building works at the entrance of the site, however there were no noise or dust from them but eyesore. And they have banned day visitors and the place looked so empty, Café closed, few people here and there.
They are building lake lodges so changed landscape and there is no more paddling pool for little ones where it used to be.
It's just not the same place as it used to be. A bit disappointed.
However we did enjoy kayaking and paddleboarding.
Campsite was clean, quiet, staff exceptionaly friendly, toilet blocks were ok, some toilets out of order and some drains in showers blocked, but overall clean.
