Site a lot bigger than I'm use too, but lovely spacious pitches.
Clean facilities.
Great location for walks, steady if not up for Ben nevis.
Would recommend and return.

Booked last minute, arrived in pouring rain with the very mixed weather we have had this month. Got a hard standing pitch on the new Cameron area, lovely pitches and in great condition with being new, although we could see pitches in other areas were also good and spacious.
The facility block for Cameron is very modern, clean and good facilities with unisex showers, closed off sink areas and toilets, a laundry and drying area and washing up area.
Only gripe is the showers and toilets were cleaned once a day, sometimes hairs left in the drain bit for showers, toilet roll sheets strewn around, but that’s down to other campers not staff. Personal fussy view is that they could be cleaned again at busy times.
The site is surrounded by superb views, good for a walk into Fort William as well as Ben Nevis and other local hikes.
Reception open every day until 5 but you can go head to your pitch if you arrive after that time.
There is a breakfast van open seasonally, also doing hot food at night. Also the Glen Nevis Restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the site.

Whilst this is is a very large site, it is very well laid out in several different areas so it does feel spacious.
On arrival it showed campsite full to all but tents.
The facilities block seemed ancient but cleaners kept it immaculate at all times. Showers were adjustable temperature and gave a piping hot shower.
Cafe only open mornings and Friday and Saturday evening, seemed crazy when site full.
Our pitch was in the seasonal area. It seemed a little unloved - grass not mowed and weeds on pitch. When we booked only fully serviced available so guess that's why put in this area.
Whilst we booked online, we still called into reception who confirmed. "pitch hasnt changed from booking". At 1050pm we were woken by a rather unhappy man telling us that it was his pitch and that he had been on it for 3 days.
We did let site know in the morning but not sure what the problem was.
Overall a lovel site, hotel standard reception, shop and cafe but facilities could do with an update. Also due to above think better security needed as gates aren't closed until 11pm so anyone can drive in until then.
The most expensive campsite we stayed on in Scotland by far, it didn't feel value for money, maybe better in low season.

Very good and clean site. Excellent food in both the campfire kitchen and in the restaurant.
Very busy due to Ben Nevis race, but still felt spacious. We were on a non electric pitch and as a bonus 4 nights for the price of 3.
About a 35/40 min walk to the high street. Plenty walking routes. We did Cow hill from the Loch Linnhe side to Glen nevis, a good work out.
The weather was extremely warm 25°c Fri/Sat and slighty cooler on Sun.
Walking distance to Neptunes staircase

We liked how clean, tidy and well kept the site was.
The facilities were excellent and it had everything that we needed.
Our only criticism is that the toilet facilities and recycling were a long way away from the tent areas. It didn’t make sense to us. Why would they be so near the Campervans users who have their own toilets and yet tents users who don’t have so far to go?

Great staff and facilities, the pod I stayed in was brilliant,
Plenty of sockets kettle and tea and coffee and a very good heating system to dry wet kit,
Campsite is very clean,
The restaurant and the breakfast van are brill and well priced and the on site shop has everything you need,
No negatives,
I'll definitely be going back and for longer

The location was great especially if you’re climbing ben nevis when arriving!
Also useful being able to arrive as early as 12 and set up camp before climbing and heading to the restaurant afterwards.

Although this is a very large site, it is very spacious laid out so it does not feel crowded. It is also maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
The booking was easy online - you can book a specific pitch and you do not have to go into Reception on arrival - you just drive straight to your pitch. If only other sites would make arrival so straightforward.
There is a good dog walk on site and walks straight from the site, up into the wooded hills behind the site or along the River Nevis just over the road from the site.
You can catch a bus from outside the site entrance into Fort William.

The site is spacious with great pitches and good facilities.
It's set in a beautiful landscape and, on the whole, very well managed.
My only complaint concerns the noise level generated by a few other campers well past 11 pm. This might well have been an isolated experience but nevertheless, irritating.

A good location for a walk along Glen Nevis to the nearby Visitor Centre or going into Fort William. Also well placed for hikers at the end of the West Highland Way, or to start the trek up Ben Nevis.
Large grassy area for tents, as well as hard pitches for caravans/ motorhomes with a view of Ben Nevis. Site very busy in July, with pre-booked places only and little privacy.
Well-stocked shop at Reception but disappointed that the cafe was closed mid-week at the height of the season.
Facilities old and tired, not the standard expected at this high price. A better experience previously in the low season.

Few sites can match this fantastic location, with it's view of Ben Nevis and the numerous walking opportunities, including a large dog-walk area.
Some ablution facilities are a little dated, but all kept clean and well maintained.
The shop is excellent - most everything you need, and just a short 10-minute drive into Fort William for anything else. For us, the best catering facilities on our tour so far.
The 'Kitchen' serves a full range of breakfast options in the morning and a few evening meals.
The bar / restaurant serves full meals from 15:00 in the bar and 17:00 in the restaurant.
Not inexpensive, but the quality and quantity of food fully justifies the prices. If you have never had 'Cullen Skink' try their offering. 'to die for'.
The only negative is that they are really not dog-friendly - only allowed at the outside tables. Such a shame because the bar area is plenty big enough to cope with them.
Staff are friendly and efficient. The only gripe is that they mow and strim the grass right up to to your unit - twice whilst we were there - and consequently splattered the motorhome and awning tent with cut, damp grass - very irritating.
