Large site, self check-in was organised well.
Good facilities all clean and in order. Needed 20p for the meter for showers.
Information sheet was handy as it gave a taxi number to use after a visit to Dylan’s… it would have been a long walk uphill back.

We stayed for 7 nights here in a large tent with EHU in August for the first time.
We were blown away by the view! Mountains on one side, and the sea on another. It was amazing!
Some of the tent pitches were quite slopey but we found one which was almost flat.
The grounds are very well kept, toilets, showers and washing up areas were always spotless and very neat.
The staff are really friendly and communicative, will always stop for a quick chat.
The site is on the side of a hill and would be difficult for less physically agile guests, but it is only small, so it doesn't take long to get anywhere.
We fished on their fishing lakes which are on a different site just a few hundred yards away, it took about 10 minutes to walk there from our tent.
The fishing lakes are great, we've been there lots of times before. There's several fishing lakes, a family lake next to cafe and toilets, and catch and keep trout lake.
Highly recommend this campsite for family's with younger kids.

Really amazing site, very friendly staff and facilities were spotless. Only minor down side was a long walk to the toilet block from the tent field and small number of water taps. Really minor though and talking with the staff, they plan to have one built for next season.
Great corse fishing on site (a 12lb mirror carp on day 1!) And the trout lake provides very tasty fish for the bbq as long as your willing to dress them yourself. Friendly staff at the fishery and prices are very reasonable.
The cafe at the fishery is also excellent with a good selection on the menu and will even deliver your food to your fishing peg!
Criccieth and Porthmadog are short drives away and the amazing black rock sands beach is only a 10 min drive.
Over all 9 / 10, when the new toilet block is build will be 10! Definitely planning to go again.

Nice well kept campsite.
Bathroom Facilities whilst excellent are very far from campsite, pitches being located close to static caravans not tent/camper/caravan pitches.
Pitches are in a sloping field and uneven.
Also note, showers require payment 20p for 4 minutes so need ample change…
Site is a good walk from town (good 20minutes)

Great site, fantastic clean facilities. 20p for 4 min shower lovely and hot! Nice play park.
Beautiful views of national park and of sea.
Washing machine & tumble dryer on site, also freezer for ice blocks and plug for charging phones if needed.
Bit of a walk to the toilet block from the electric camping field - could do with some lights through the park as very dark walking through the trees to the toilet at night.
Non electric has some lovely flat pitches however a lot of the electric hook ups are not flat/level which meant things keep sliding or tipping over.
There is a cafe but didn’t use as wasn’t sure of opening times, maybe add this to the info sheets.
Ukcampsite. Co. Uk says there is a games room. This is incorrect.
Overall good site and would return.

From the camping field you get views of the sea and mountains.
Loads of space even on May bank holiday Monday!
Fantastic toilet block, kept clean and very spacious with separate family facilities.
Nice play area for kids in the wooded area plus huge recreation area. About a 20 min walk to the sandy beach near Cricceath which was practically deserted.
Aldi, Lidl and Mountain Warehouse a couple of miles down the road in case you forget anything. Easy booking, with pitches already allocated on arrival.
Gorgeous, almost empty 4 mile sandy beach at Harlech, half of which is dog friendly.
Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more of the area.

My first visit to Eisteddfa a truly lovely site, great views, well spaced and tiered like a beautifully made cake, so no treading all over other campers, although mostly seasonal, some space to for those travelling, was made very welcome and offered a reduction on price which was most welcome.
No problems with road noise as the site is built well above the road, close to Porthmadog and Criccieth for any shops. Showers. 20p x 4mins, all kept clean and tidy.
All in all one of best sites have ever visited and I've been doing this since the year god.
I will return.
Could not give any score on children because none about.

Beautifully maintained site, spotless facilities, and strict on rowdy behaviour.
Criccieth within walking distance for shops cafes and beaches, with the added attraction of a superb fishery next door, which also has a nice cafe open to visitors.

Excellent facilities, well organised and clean.
Shame no electric tent options but didn't spoil our long weekend.
Very child friendly with plenty of space and play area.
Family shower rooms were great!

Beautiful campsite with stunning views. From our tent we could see out to sea and beautiful mountains. The toilet block was clean and modern with lovely hot showers (20p for 4 mins).
There was also a charging point and freezer for ice blocks which is really handy. Our kids enjoyed the play area, as well as watching all the rabbits which hop around the site.
There are no fires allowed on site which has it's pro's and cons, they do allow bbq's for cooking though.
There is no shop, but Criccieth is only 5 mins away with local shops, and there are supermarkets at Porthmadog. Also there is a cafe at the Fishing lake just a minutes walk away which does a great breakfast.
There is so much to do in the area. Harlech castle, Coed y Brennan (forest), Abersoch and Porther (lovely beach with national trust parking) were some of our highlights. We loved the site and the area and definitely plan to return.
To clarify scores, I put 8 for customer service only because we didn't actually see any staff or the owners whilst we were there, but that was because we didn't need to. Email communication prior to arrival was good and had we needed anything we could have contact them easily.

Very quiet tranquil site.
We stayed Monday until Friday not many people about as a lot of the pitches are seasonal.
Not very far from the lovely towns of Criccieth and Porthmadog.
Its a mecca for fishermen with fly and course fishing available.
Lovely cafe next to fishing lakes serving nice food at reasonable prices

A big site on a hill which is divided up into tent fields and caravan fields so it doesn't feel so big.
Great views - apparently best from the top of the hill where there is less road noise (not intrusive anyway).
Facilities very new and clean.

Just got back from a lovely week spent at this caravan site. We were fortunate to get a pitch at the last minute and how lucky we were.
The site is situated on a hillside just outside Criccieth and is ideally situated to cover the Llyn peninsular and Snowdonia.
Our pitch was midway up the hill and we had plenty of bunny rabbits to entertain us early morning and late at night.
On arrival we found our pitch position on a board outside reception, which helped reduce contact due to covid.
The owners were on hand if required and could be contacted quite easily. The site is well maintained and the toilet blocks are immaculate.
We will certainly be visiting this site again.

Absolutely amazing site !
All facilities were just great, showers nice and hot, very clean, always had toilet roll,
Staff were spot on, my car had a flat battery and the young guy came over and jump started it for me,
The pitch was great with sea and mountain views,
Cafe on site was great too and fast service,
Try it you won't regret it !
