This site is everything it claims to be! The pitches are well spaced and the views superb especially at sunset.
We were a family group getting together for the first time since covid struck and we had a very relaxing weekend sat around a fire pit catching up while looking out over the valley towards Bodiam and beyond.
We will definitely be going back.

Had amazing time for my son’s birthday with his friends and their Dads.
Terry and Nathan were super friendly and helpful.
The views to Bodiam castle are spectacular.
This is a low key, relaxed campsite for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

The campsite is absolutely beautiful, it's left unmowed apart from the pitches so we were surrounded by beautiful wildflowers and insects, and had an incredible view of the castle below.
Terry and Nathan were so welcoming and helpful at every point, we will definitely be back.
Thank you for a brilliant stay, just wish it had been for longer!

A fabulous relaxed camping site. Wonderful views and very friendly and helpful owners/staff.
A very clever marketing policy, to remember peoples names. Well done. We will return.

Easy drive to Camber Sands beach too which was about 30 mins away.

We love this place, it’s the perfect vibe in the perfect location. Plus it’s run by some really nice people.
The site is walking distance from Bodiam castle and a couple of local pubs but we prefer to just spend time in the meadow and kick back.
The field is beautiful at sunset & and as you sit round your fire pit (Terry or Nathan will happily supply you with one & some logs for a reasonable sum if required 🔥) drinking a beer it’s impossible not to relax.
We will be back again!

The campsite was really nice run by a friendly people. Location is great near to the castle and with a farm near by that sells apple juice. Also sport facilities by the river.
The campsite facilitates all you need to dicten campfire and all the common facilities are really clean the same as the site. Also they run ceramic classes and events.
I recommend it! Raquel

If you love a back to basics approach to camping this is the place for you. Generous sized pitches in a lovely field overlooking the castle (which isn't too far to walk to) and an absolutely stunning sunset where ever you are in the field.
Terry, Nathan and Linda couldn't be more friendly and helpful, they're never far away if you need something and nothing is too much trouble, even towing my van out after getting stuck in some mud!
There are well maintained portaloos and a stand pipe with fresh water and an excellent wood delivery service for camp fires.
The place is purposely not packed out which makes for a nice and relaxed atmosphere and the back to basics approach attracts like minded campers, everyone we met and spoke too were awesome.
I'm not generally a fan of paid campsites preferring a slightly wilder approach but we'll definitely be coming back and hopefully introducing some friends to the lovely Damson Field Rustic Camping
