Lovely and quiet campsite with great views across valley towards Bodiam.
The owners, Terry and Lynda are very friendly and helpful.
Pitches nicely spaced out so plenty of peace and quiet.
No electricity which I actually like so it's just you, the big sky and your fire!

Absolutely loved it.
We came down for a weekend break with our 4 month old son and had the perfect weekend. The site is beautiful, very calm & relaxing with lovely views and plenty of nice walks surrounding it. The owners Terry & Lynda are so friendly & welcoming and made us feel right at home.
In the daytime we walked down to Bodiam castle and through the fields & woodlands and in the evening we sat around our fire pit burning logs (both the pit & the logs were supplied by Terry for a minimal fee). The site is also very near to Hastings if you fancy a trip to the seaside.
Can’t recommend it enough, we will definitely be back.

Loved it, old school camping at its best.
Can't wait to book again.
Nice walks, quite, nice views. What else could you ask for.
Close enough for a nice walk and a pint at Bodiam castle.

Terry and Lynda let us in after ten at night when we were pretty desperate for somewhere to stay.
They were very attentive hosts and we had a lovely relaxing time in their sunny field overlooking the castle

What a find, this relaxing site has gorgeous views, lovely walks, camp fires & the most friendly, welcoming owners.
If you like to get away from it all you’ll absolutely love this site.
My kids are 12 & 10 & had reservations about going to a site with very few facilities but came away saying it was one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Terry and Lynda were so accommodating - all basic needs met - a truly natural camping experience with fire pits etc.
Our tent unfortunately couldn’t keep out the hundreds of flying ants - just that time of year -but we were given the option to move (without even having to take the tent down) and everyone including the other campers was so kind and helpful.
It didn’t spoil our stay whatsoever - the setting is beautiful, overlooking Bodiam castle which you can walk to from the site via public footpaths.
Will be back for sure.

Quiet location off the beaten track. Basic but pleasant place to use as a base. Great local walks, cafe’s and good location for sightseeing.
Hosts were generous with their time and awfully helpful. They delivered what was promised.

Nice field with a beautiful view, but very limited amenities. Price seems a bit high since there is nothing but a tap and port-a-loo on site.
Didn’t feel too crowded even though it seemed oversold (Bank Holiday weekend).
Near to castle and short drive to beaches, grocery, etc.

What an amazing find. Beautiful spot, great hosts, so friendly and helpful.
Glamped in the pitch under the tree at the top of the field. Will be back for definite.
