What an amazing find! Beautifully quiet, surrounded by trees and dunes.
A lovely toilet block with good showers.
Gorgeous walks to the beach (10 min walk) and sand dunes. 30 minute walk to co op and the same for the train station with an excellent service to Southport and Liverpool.
The camp site is at the back of a static mobile home holiday park, but it really is a hidden treasure.
The owners are really friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back x

This is a very peaceful well located site, walk out to the dunes and nature reserves.
Facilities are dated and the site is a bit tired but very clean toilets, hot powerful showers so perfectly adequate.
Friendly welcoming owners.
We did send a booking request on campsite but had no response so phoned and booked.

Loved the site so quite and peaceful. Wi-Fi was very weak. But just ment no work and more relaxing
Had our 3yr old grandson with us and he loved playing outside and best of all going to the beach which was close by.
Will definitely return

Lovely site, mainly statics but about 20 pitches on hard standing. Toilets and showers adequate and clean.
Lovely walks through woods, very dog friendly. You can walk to beach through dunes or on a boardwalk (A little bit further) takes about 20 mins.
We found good value for money especially as it was Easter. Will definitely go back.

Site is mostly permanent static pitches and although the site is neat & tidy, it looks a bit dated.
That said, the touring pitches are spacious, in a lovely location and very peaceful & quiet.
Lots of fantastic dog walks & very close to the beach
Shower block dated with a few out of order signs here & there! Showers clean & nice & hot so no complaints here either.
Lady in reception friendly & helpful
Would definitely stay here again

Absolutely amazing!
Perfect and peaceful - short walk to the secluded dunes and beach - a short walk or drive to the village.
Margaret was extremely helpful -
I will definitely return!

Great stay so quiet and close to beach.
Very friendly and welcoming and easy check in.
Would 100% come back.
We were only testing out our new camper before a trip to Italy but the peace and quiet alone made it worth while to come for a visit just for a chilled weekend during the summer months.
Thanks so much guys

Lovely peaceful & quiet site.
Highlight of our stay was the gate access from the site straight into the forest & access to the beautiful formby beach.
We had a brilliant 2 day stay & would highly recommend this site.

The site was ok. Needs a lot to bring it up to scratch ie untidy grass, paint work, entrance gates need a nice paint job.
The good side is the beech and train station are only a 20 minutes walk, yes we would use again.
You must visit Liverpool!

Received a very pleasant welcome, informative not only about the site but the surrounding area.
Showers were hot, maybe a little too hot for me especially as it was a hot weekend, no adjustments available.
Access to boardwalk to the beach from site or walk over the sand dunes.
Site was busy but well managed and quiet.
Great location for dog walking, sand dunes, woods or beach, my Springer spaniel loved it, a different walk every time we left the site.
Site would benefit from more bins, only found one near the office, no recycling options and couldn’t locate any dog Poo bins on site or on our many walks.
