This is by far the best Caravan site we have stayed on. This is a very high standard of site set in the beautiful country side at the side of the river Wenning. The site is very well maintained, Toilet blocks are unbelievable, the childrens play area is fantastic, everything is just perfect about this site. There are a lot of rules to this site, but these rules are certainly for the good of the site.

The pitches also offer television points which give you 10 channels including a kids channel and sports channel. A journey into the little town of High Bentham is a ten minute walkaway and offers pubs & takeaways. Caravaners, campers, all are made to feel very welcome here.

Fantastic site, and lovely scenery. A walk takes you into Bentham or across railway (public footpath). The toilet block is the best I've ever seen, with piped music! A nice park for the kids and a playground. The only complaint is the milkman no longer comes, and there are no shops local (a 15 minute walk away)

We chose the site on the basis of other campers reviews and we were NOT disappointed. It was fantastic, excellent facilities, great play ground for kids, next to the river, great dog walking areas, plenty of walks and the village is only 10 mins away. We will be visiting again very soon

What a lovely site just spend 3 nights here, the site is very clean.  The toilet block is the best one by far I have stayed at.  The pitches are spaced out so you are not on top of one another.

The walks for dogs are very good.  Staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all a excellent site to stay at. Will be visiting again very soon.

What a lovely site! We just got back from 2 nights at Riverside and enjoyed this site very much. Quite spacious. Fantastic toilet and shower facilities. Has launderette and little library room and good sized games room for kids. Nice walks closeby. Definitely go again.

Just spent a brilliant 4 nights at this site. Fantastic, can't fault it. Toilets / Showers excellent, with free hairdryers. Campers kitchen which has a microwave, kettle and toaster all free. Laundry and information room with Internet access.

Access to river - kids can play in it. The play area wasn't in operation as they were basically doing a refurb on it, looks like it will be good when finished.

Short walk to the village (about 5 - 10 mins), with 3 pubs, Chinese (really nice), chippy, Indian, spar and co-op. Heritage walks which start from the Church opposite site entrance, 2, 5 or 9 miles - all signposted. We did the 2 mile with no problems.

Looking forward to another break there soon.

Excellant site spotlessly clean. Toilet & shower blocks brilliant. All free & water & lights work automatically very enviromentally friendly. Games room for kids which closes at 9.30pm. Village 10-15 walk away with 4 pubs(the byre & horse & farrier allow dogs inside)Late night Spar, a chinese, indian & fish & chip shop the latter closes at 8pm even at weekends & a number of other local shops to choose from. Fantastic views & walks along the river & just a couple of miles from Ingleton. You can even leave your caravan in storage for £2 per night between visits.

We went for a weekend, very nice site and the new blocks they have showers food prep, washing up are a credit to them, they have cameras on the site as well- we got a pitch by the river which was very nice, this is a first class, there is also an adventure playground for the kids, we loved it and booked for later in the year

An excellent site, all new facilities, new building this year with a laundry room (plenty of washers and driers),also a library and a computer with free internet. Family shower room. Above is the new wardens accomodation. Spacious pitches all marked out and nice and flat. Nice to see a site that is environmentally friendly and the new toilet shower block certainly is along with the recycle bins. Even has a campers kitchen for food preperation a microwave, fridge, kettle and very spacious.

Fantastic site. Good sized pitches on level ground. Book early as gets really busy. Children loved the play area and I really appreciated the luxury toilet block (even has piped music). Not much entertainment on site but only a short walk to village where there are 3 pubs.

Recommended by a friend, this site turned out to be a real gem. The facilities are top notch and modern with exceptional shower and toilet blocks.
If you don't take your own food and drink, a short walk into the village of High Bentham offers 3 pubs, various takeaways and a number of shops that should cater for most needs.
We will certainly be returning again soon and would have no reservations in recomending this site to friends.

Excellent, great for all ages of kids. This site is a credit to the owner after redevelopment. It`s not over commercial or noisy.

The new toilet block is now open - Wow! it's real state-of-the-art. Every credit to the owners it must have cost a bomb. They have also installed all new electric points to every pitch, which for those of you who need it also has a TV point including 10x channels for £1/night. They have put loads more drainage in (not that it was ever boggy) and have laid new tarmac roads and parking bays for motorhomes. There is even an area for those campers who don't need electric.
This is a quality campsite for tents, caravans and motorhomes in a superb location for a holiday or weekend break, 1/2 hour from Lakes, seaside at Morecambe, as much walking & cycling as you could ever want - we love it!

We went to this site on the receommendation of family and we were not dissappointed. It is as an earlier guest said a real suntrap and the childrens play area is excellent. However, for those not travelling with children I would advise requesting a pitch away from the playground and clubhouse as it is noisy. We would definitley go back to this site when the new toilet/shower block is opened.

Nice site on the banks of a river, but think it would be a good idea to book early and ask for a riverside pitch. No bar on site but a short walk into Bentham which has about three pubs. Toilets for women have separate little cubicles with locks with a mirror and sink which I thought was a good idea. Showers take a 20 pence piece and mine was excellent. Bit of a hike from where we were to the toilet block but a new one is in the process of being built. Good site, I would go again.
