What a fantastic campsite. Arrived to a warm welcome from Dot & were guided to our pitch.

The campsite is absolutely beautiful. Our pitch was flat & spacious, toilets were spotless & well laid out.

Met some lovely people & thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

Only drawback for us was no tv signal but there were lots of Dvd's to borrow. Ideal campsite if your looking to get away from it all & enjoy the scenery.

We will definitely be back.

 Lovely, peaceful surroundings.

Owners & staff could not be nicer or more helpful.

They were very welcoming - just the kind of place we were looking for - so much so, that we've booked for 10 nights in July.

This is a lovely place, and the toilet block is spotless.

The showers closed at 4pm, so it is only really possible to shower in the morning, but obviously these are difficult times.

Pretty setting. Good facilities. Friendly staff.

Not good for disabled people as toilets were a long way from our pitch which was immediately in front of main entrance.

So shutters down most of the time to give privacy

We have visited the Walled Garden a few times before but not for a few years and I decided on a staycation this year with my son.

It is still a great location to visit. The facilities are kept spotless, the staff really friendly and and ideal place to spend a well earned rest.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoors, serenity and camping or caravanning. Its only a short drive to places like Troon, Ayr and even Glasgow as well as not too distant from Dumfries and the scenic west coast.

Great place will definitely be back.

This camp site was a nice quiet site with good hard standing pitches for caravans.

Due to covid 19 the toilets were restricted for social distancing so while open and clean there ware fewer facilities. This did not affect our enjoyment of the weekend. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff on arrival.

My only warning is to not follow your sat nav as it will take you down a very narrow road that has no chance of reversing if someone is coming in the opposite direction. Follow the signs for the campsite, there are plenty of them to keep you on the right road.

Found this small well organised campsite to be very quiet and relaxing.

The site is well maintained and toilets and showers very clean, just a pity the weather wasnít to good,

Definitely on my list for another visit.

This campsite really is a hidden gem. Iíll start by saying the couple who run this site have hearts of gold. My car broke down the first day of my Scotland trip. When it was finished being fixed in the garage in Girvan (10 miles away) Dot very kindly gave me and my brother a lift to the garage to collect my car. This is just showing what kind, welcoming people are running this site.

Aside from their massive hearts the campsite itself was immaculate. The showers were the nicest Iíve been to on a campsite; you can control the showers heat and it had loads of hooks to use. There are also little sink stalls with locks on to change and a good number of toilet stalls. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned every morning I was there, and thereís easy access to the fridge and freezer. Thereís also washing up facilities and laundry machines; again very very clean.

The surrounding area is the real hidden gem though, if you stay here make an effort to go for a walk around the campsites grounds. The woodlands surrounding it are honestly like stepping back in time, itís beautiful. I half expected a pterodactyl to come flying through the woods.

The campsite is surrounded by these old walls, which was obviously a walled garden at one point to the grand house thatís nearby which is super cool. Any child (big or small) staying here is going to get a feast for their imagination. Thereís also a little gate at the back of the campsite which leads to the woods, which looks so much like the entry to the secret garden it was magic.

Thereís also a little kids playground for them to explore some more.

Sorry for the length of this review but I canít recommend this site enough, itís truly lovely and my brother and I really enjoyed our time here.

Wow! A hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay at the Walled Garden. We were lucky with the weather over the Easter weekend. The site is peaceful and calming. Pitches are a great size with spacious grass areas.

The walk alongside the site into the woods is lovely. We came across 3 lambs that had escaped their field and managed to reunite them with their mum. The park and football area for kids is great and out the way so you don't have to worry about noise.

A food van visited for the night so we had fish and chips! A lovely site, near to Culzean castle, which we visited. The owners came round with Easter Eggs which was a lovely touch.

The golf area was a hit with my little one. We will be back! Loved it.

We spent three nights here while researching my wifes' Family history. On arrival we were made welcome straight away and found our hosts were very helpful and friendly as were all the residents we met. The sight is self is very well laid out and all facilities were very clean and well presented. The site is very peaceful and relaxing and the site and surrounding area is a haven for wildlife site. Would recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful clean and peaceful site
