Stayed here for half term, on a EHU pitch in the main field. Yes it was busy, we were expecting that, but the site coped well, no queue for showers, although did run out of hot water by 8pm.

It's a good site, slightly sloping in our field (needed levellers on the folding camper), good sized pitch. Well stocked shop, very handy location and playground for the kids.

So why not 10 stars. For reason at 10pm a campsite employee and the owner of a seasonal caravan started angle grinding a trailer - great when you have got a 5 year old to sleep.

And the following night, the same campsite employee was using a petrol powered chainsaw to chop wood.

It's all very well having rules about campers being respectful and quiet - but it should apply to the staff as well.

We also got caught out by the shop changing opening hours on the last Sunday of half term. I can see why as the campsite was virtually empty then, but we didn't get any warning so ran out of milk.

However, I put these down to one-offs and I would return for another visit

Having holidayed in the area for years this was our first visit as normally Caravan at a site a few miles away nearer the sea. Having promised to take the Grandchildren camping and to Corfe Castle, the tank museum and Monkey world we decided to go under canvas for the bank holiday weekend. Looking over Corfe Castle and within 15 miles of Monkey world and the tank museum this was a great location. Despite the site being busy it was still fairly peaceful and the toilet and shower facilities were great.

With the shop handy to the site and Corfe Castle village within walking distance it was very handy for supplies and eating out. Our younger Grandchild loved the farm animals too and the peacocks are stunning.

I don't think we will be giving up our caravan anywhen soon so will mostly be staying at our favourite site by the sea but will certainly be back again if we are taking the Grandchildren camping.

Lovely site - A great inland site for sightseeing 6 miles from the sea.

Stayed Friday to Sunday for a visit to Corfe Castle and to see the trains and this place is awesome. A working farm with a 4 field campsite. We were in main field but the Pond field had even better views so will try to go in there next time. Great shop and toilet/shower blocks. Wondeful location for the Castle and Trains to Swanage and even a on site breakfast and dinner van that looked great if you cannot be bothered to do it yourself. Do not hesitate to book it, you will not go wrong here in tent, camper, caravan or even a back packer. It is so good and we will be back in October for the Steam Train gala nearby. But that time we might add a hook up to help keep warm if chilly.

We arrived at Norden Farm on a Friday in early October as my boys had a teacher training day and we wanted to make the most of the nice early October weather forecast. This is the third time we have stayed at this campsite and can thoroughly recommend it. We booked a part serviced pitch with electric hook up and were in the quieter Donkey Field. Our previous two visits we have been in the busier Top Field, although this was now home to some sheep, due to it being low season.

The campsite was very quiet which meant no loud groups or long queues for the showers or washing up facilities. The shower facilities near the Donkey Field were probably the best campsite facilities I have used with showers that could be controlled as required, as opposed to push button controls which are normally found at campsites. The facilities were kept clean at all times.

There was a small playground for the children and as the campsite is on a working farm, there are plenty of animals on the farm which you can wander around and look at – we even had an escaped pig in the donkey field which kept the kids entertained – quite funny really.

The shop on site was good, although I think this may be operated as a farm shop locally as well as campsite provisions. It had everything we needed for the weekend and was well stocked, and the staff were friendly. There was also a mobile food van in the Pond Field which opened in the mornings and evenings, although we didn’t try this.

Local attractions included the Swanage Steam Railway and Corfe Castle, both within walking distance, which really are lovely attractions. We also visited Dancing Ledge and did a National Trust Walk called the Tramway Tramp – both free of charge and a good adventure for the children.

This is a great campsite which I would recommend, whatever the season.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very very impressed. The site was very wet in arrival and our allocated pitch was very boggy. The staff quickly allocated us a new drier pitch with no problem.

The pitches are all very large and most are flat. Ours was slightly sloping but nothing major. The site itself is a working farm but is still beautifully kept. The toilet and amenities blocks were all immaculately clean and the hot water plentiful. Little touches like motion sensor lights and a hair dryer make all the difference. The lower block have seats in the showers and also a fab family room with a small bath etc.

WiFi is available through ClubWifi which we found a little pricey being £20 for 4 days.

The site shop is well stocked and open from 8. 30-6. 00. There is also a restaurant on site and a breakfast/burger van at the weekend.

All in all I would say this is one of the best sites I have stayed on and we will definitely be back.

This was out first camping trip away as a family (2 Adults and 2 Children 6 & 3). We arrived on our first day and luckily the weather was kind to us so pitching the tent was fine, even though very hot but I'd rather this then getting soaked! We were in the pond field and had an electric hook-up. We were nice and close to the toilet block but not so close that we were interrupted by the noise of people using them. The view from our pitch was fantastic.

The campsite is about 5 - 10 minute walk from Norden station on the Swanage steam railway and about 6 miles from Swanage itself.

There was a well stocked shop on site and all the staff were helpful.

The toilet facilities were very good and for the amount of people that use them they were very clean.

The other attraction was the farm itself. Our kids loved seeing all the animals (they weren't to sure about the smell though! but I had to explain that's what farms smell like!

Overall the 2 nights we spent at the campsite were great and I wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully we look to return again in the future.

We've been here a few times and have always camped in the Top Field without hook up, (left it to late to book a hook up pitch). The site can get very busy at peak times and the field does tend to attract large groups, which can be noisy, saying that the wardens are very good at managing noise after 11pm.

If it's a bit windy then you will feel it in the field, camp at the edge and use wind breaks. If wet then it gets very muddy pack wellies. (We had a real mixture of weather despite it being Aug)

Showers get very busy in the morning and you will have to queue until mid morning, simple answer is shower later, they'd have been cleaned from the rush as well by then. Two shower blocks. The main field showers are much better, proper showers you can control. The Top field/pond field showers are push button and not much power, I found the temp too hot to.

Well stocked shop.

The walk into Corfe is about 20mins, it brings you in to join the path from the visitors centre. Lovely village. Be sure to go to the Greyhound pub. When we've been they have had beer/cider festivals on, sit in the garden and enjoy the view of the castle. Food a little expensive though.

Generally I would say this site attracts families with younger children because it's a farm. We left our 16 year old at home and just had our 12 year old with us, he was happy enough cycling around and playing in the play park.

It's a good base for exploring the local area, Swanage, etc.

Would recommend.

This is a large and professionally run site with excellent facilities. We stayed in the middle of August for a weekend and it was very busy, and with the size of many outfits there seemed to be quite a few not following the six metre rule on the main field. We attempted to park our Campervan as per the instructions but the distance to the hookup point was just too far to allow this, so perhaps that is a reason why.

I was very impressed by the shop, which contains a lot more varied produce than the average small supermarket, including a range of camping spares.

It seems to be a site which people pitch on for the whole two weeks, and it is easy to see why as there's plenty to do in the surrounding area, including the Swanage steam railway which is a short walk away: you can hear the trains tooting, and they do evening rides in summer too.

We don't normally stay on such large sites but after 11 everyone was quiet so it was peaceful enough.

This campsite never fails to deliver, it is such a beautiful spot, love the animals, the well stocked shop, the excellent toilet facilities - you can get a lovely meal at the farmhouse four nights a week, all fresh local sourced ingredients. The walk into corfe is easy and beautiful, and just outside the entrance are buses to Swanage, poole, weymouth, hourly- tents are pitched in their own field which is a good idea, all the pitches are grass so be aware this is probably a campsite for fair-weather ! we keep going back, absolutely love it

This was our first visit to this site, and we were very happy we chose it. We had a warm welcome and pitched up in the top field we were out of the way in a peaceful spot just what we wanted. Our three year old girls loved the fact it was a farm and we could walk around and see all the animals. So many attractions close by, it was easy to get anywhere.

The farm shop was well stocked the facility's were very clean and children and animals had priority here. Good play area on site overall as it is a farm the whole site is very clean and tidy.

We are looking forward to comming back.

Enjoyed the stay on this farm, but didnt get too much sleep unfortunatly, as we were placed very near the barn where the cow/cows were that had just had their calves taken away, noisy and distressfull.

We arrived at 9pm on sat had paid for a electric hook up that was placed behind another motorhome and wasnt told where this was and that we were sharing, when we did find out unfortunatly our cable wasnt long enough as the hook up was more than 4m away.

Facilities were adequate but as it was very busy by the sunday morning they could do with a clean.

The shop was well stocked and the staff very friendly expecially the young lad who had booked us in/

Within easy reach of local attractions, loved swanage great beach and plenty to do if the weather is not so good, bournemouth is great although very expensive,

It was a good stay for a couple days but this site is probably not for us.

Just came back from a 4 night break and I am so glad I chose this site.

The trip started with a lovely greeting at reception. We were allocated in the Donkey field which in my opinion is the better field as there was more space and each morning we were greeted by a family of 10 ducks and 4-6 peacocks which roam around hoping for a few bits of bread.

My daughter of 3 years old loved spending time with all the different types of animals ( Yes, this is a working farm and has lots of animals)

The on site shop opens from 8:30am to 6pm and has pretty much everything you would need.

Most of the produce is locally sourced and a treat. Dont forget to buy your free range eggs which was great.

The pitch was nice and spacious with plenty of room and EHU was a luxury.

The children's play ground is nice.

The toilets and showers was very clean and new and the water was HOT.

I paid just over £70 for 4 nights with EHU which I felt was very good value for money.

I have been a few sites and this is in my top 3.

Already thinking about going back.

Friends of ours recommended this site as they have 3 kids and were very impressed. We arrived on Easter saturday to find the site not as busy as we thought it would be. As the week went on many people moved off and at the end of our stay there were only three other units in the field.

The staff were very helpful and polite upon our arrival and placed us on a large corner pitch in the Pond Field. This was great because along the bottom fence the ground is more level whereby if you were in the middle of the field you would benefit from having levelling blocks if you were in a caravan or camper/motorhome.

Our only issue with the pitch was the electric hookup which was supplying our van and our friends and occasionally tripped out if we both had a kettle on at the same time.

The toilets and showers were clean although the showers were VERY hot. We can't comment on the washing up or laundry areas as we didn't use them.

Our pitch was a 5 minute walk from the kids playground area and the shop which was well stocked including a small plant area and farm supplies.

Access to the site was very good being on the main road to Corfe Castle. Although you could hear the road noise we didn't find it too intrusive. Anyone visiting for the first time should be able to find the site easily as as soon as you get sight of Corfe Castle heading south on the A351 the camp site is on your right hand side with a marked right turn lane.

If I was forced to make any negative comment it would be the very distressed cow in one of the fields that kept mooing all night long as if it's calf had been taken away. This lead to a fairly sleepless night but as this is a working farm you would have to be prepared for all sorts of animal noises.

All in all we would definitely stay here again as there are plenty of walks in the surrounding area and it made a great base for exploring this area of the south coast

We have been coming to campsite for over ten years and seen it develop basic facilities to the top quality facilities it has now. There is no club house as it is place to come and admire the grand views from your pitch. We came here for a quick early season break and to take advantage of the low out of season rates they offer. The site is before you get to Corfe Castle on a working farm. So expect to see animals and people working around the place.

There are three separate grass fields all of which are pretty flat with adequate marked out pitches. There is a well stocked shop with a locally sourced produce. The amenity blocks are modern and well maintained with even a pouch shower room. As this was March and we were only one of five units I cannot say how busy facilities would get.

Within walking distance you have the Purbecks and a healthy walk into Corfe Castle with its history and tea shops. Short drives away are Swanage, Wareham and Studland Bay. A little further you have Monkey World and the Tank Museum, if you were using this site as a base. There is also the option of walking over to the train and taking a trip on a steam train. We took a bike ride out of the site and over the Purbecks, a little challenging if you are not used to steep climbs, there are flat routes at Wareham Forest which is short drive away. So lots of activities to choose from.

We found the service spot on, they had been in touch before we arrived to warn us about restrictions due to rain making the ground soft. It is a working farm so you get to see the activity this obviously means there is some noise but not at a level to be disruptive.

A great friendly site sorrounded with loads to do for a short or long break.

Have always loved this site and been here a few times now as do other family members. Enjoy the working farm atmosphere and seeing the animals, lovely location, nice shop and good facilities. BUT during our stay we sadly we noticed afew negatives time. Commercial vehicles allowed to park on site outside units, not really what you want to see on holiday, kids on bikes everywhere (which is fine)BUT they were all over the roads nearly knocking people and our dog over! going really fast and totally unsupervised on bikes and trikes etc, the site rules state children and animals are priority and there are huge signs to this effect which we respect and agree with BUT there should be large signs in place stating rules for the kids regarding speeding in the roads and fields etc. Also didn't appreciate the seasonal campers thinking they were a rule unto themselves. Their dogs off leads with balls being thrown down the middle of the field, their dogs being walked off the lead, their chairs being left in the middle of the field! Please try and remedy this Norden as other than than your site is great!
