 Great campsite. Have been back many years now and returning next month for a few days.
Relaxed campsite, friendly owners, lovely area.
Some of the facilities were shut whilst we were staying (due to Coronavirus regulations) but didn’t dampen our spirits.
Would definitely recommend

Fab place to stay, easy to be there. Check in/out was simple and hassle free.
Campsite easy to find, clean facilities.
It’s a pretty big site and heading to the river to camp will give you a feeling of isolation.
Close to the main road but no problems with noise.
Felt safe and comfortable even given the current climate.

Lovely staff, really helpful and talkative,
Clean site with well looked after grounds,
Perfect location close to Ipswich and Wickham market, close to supermarkets and food shops.
Lots of footpaths surrounding the site with a river running behind.
Had a really nice stay.

We loved the relaxed approach to this site.
The camp fires were great.
The only slight issue for us was the uneven ground, although having been on the site for 24 hours, we quickly found our way around this problem. Tourers with Caravans should make sure that they have adequate wedges for levelling.
The advantages of the river running through the site, the pond, trees, wildlife etc more than make up for the uneven ground issues.
This is a lovely site and we look forward to our next visit.

Great campsite, we've been for years as a couple and loved Alan's relaxed atmosphere, fishing and reading and sitting by the campfire every night.
Now we've got a toddler and decided to "brave" the campsite and loved it just as much. Perfect place for kids, so much to do and explore.
Can't wait for next year!

Nice relaxed atmosphere,
Alan and his team have done a brilliant job of making the site Covid safe without ruining the orchard campsite.

We loved it. Kids had lots of space to run around as it’s wasn’t very busy due to re opening from COVID.
But we will definitely be returning soon!
Toilets were clean. Hand sanitizer’s dotted about & 1 family at a time in the park which I liked.

The site could do with more than two swings for the kids but this is not a criticism at all. The kids loved it!

Loved the campsite. It was so relaxed. Staff were very friendly.
Loved that you could have campfires. It has a well stocked shop on site.
Choose you own pitch too.

Very good site not too large so the children can roam safely.
Enjoyed pond dipping in the river and the relaxed atmosphere.
Definitely going again and would recommend.

A brilliant site; there’s not many sites that you can visit where there is such a relaxed atmosphere!
Proper camp fires allowed, pitch where you want with no size restrictions, decent shower bloke (got a bit grubby at the end of the day but that’s to be expected with peak season I guess), friendly staff who really engage with the kids.
They even get the kids involved with a glow stick grab on a Wednesday and Saturday night, something so simple but hearing the kids getting excited about how many glow sticks they picked up was brilliant.

Lovely friendly campsite. Enjoyed a campfire under the stars, & trees offering some shade I when needed.
Only thing I’d like to see improve was the cleanliness of the toilets.
At busy times think they need a bit more attention. Otherwise wonderful experience & would recommend.

Nice site, lively with families, teens and people wide awake until early hours. Although it’s a relaxed site, there are little boundaries.
Children playing in swings until midnight, teens around the site and wondering around your pitch causing some unsocial me behaviours. It could do with someone reminding campers of camp etiquette, or closing play areas after 10pm for the children whos parents leave their kids to fend for themselves to all hours
Litter around the place so it could do with having more bins!
Toilet and shower floors pretty dirty. I imagine it’s hard to keep up the cleanliness of the small amount of showers and toilets they have during the busy seasons as traffic flow was constant and a fair bit of waiting to use them. There is not enough of them sadly, Could do with more showers and toilets.
Only found one drinking water tap, so could do with another.
Bin area was pretty grubby and a eyesore. This could do with being fenced away.
Friendly manager.
Easy to book in.
Nice shop and seating area around the shop outside.
Nice location easy to find
Nice leafy shaded areas
Good access for our campervan
The children on the site liked the free glow sticks and had fun running around with them.
We would go back, maybe not in school holidays though!

We stayed with a group, really enjoyed ourselves, would give a 5*, however, the cleanliness of the shower, toilet blocks and washing up facilities could do with regular upkeep.
With such a busy campsite this needs to be cleaned every hour as the build up gets too much. The floors were always wet and dirty and the cubicles were covered in spider webs and spiders.
The shop is nicely stocked, although this could also do with a clean from webs etc.
As previously stated we would have rated 5* as everything else was lovely.
