 Excellent showers and facilities.
Very helpful staff in the well stocked shop.
Good location for exploring Suffolk and only a short pleasant walk to the local village.

We had a lovely time here at Orchard.
The facilities on the site were top notch. Very well looked after, clean and of a suitable number so that we never had to queue up for anything.
A good flow of hot water for well pressured showers definitely helped clean away the left over sand from nearby beaches (although a lot of them are pebble beaches). We chose this campsite specifically for the proximity to lots of options for days out. And they all worked out brilliantly. Beaches, river trips on a boat, crabbing, walks through forests.
It was rather busy when we turned up, with some louder, older kids running about our tent late into the night, which was a bit frustrating for us and our younger children to try and sleep. And the closeness of the main road to the campsite meant the drone of traffic from an early hour. But that is what you get with a campsite.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at The Orchard and would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay in the area.

Really loved our time at The Orchard Campsite.
The place was beautifully presented, clean and well utilised.
Staff and campers were very friendly and we would highly recommend staying here.
We look forward to our next stay.

Lovely campsite. Shower and toilets lovely and clean, lots of hot water.
Washing up area under cover and shop well stocked.
Loved the extra facilities of the fridge and freezers microwave and kettle
Access to board games and colouring sheets and bug hunts for children to do daily.
Friendly staff and very helpful.
Kindling and logs reasonably priced.
Easy access to places to visit inland and the coast

This campsite is in a beautiful setting, particularly the lower field by the river where you have weeping willow trees and a view over the neighbouring field of horses.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and the facilities are just right - good showers and a few added extras, like microwaves and a washing machine.
The campers were all very respectful. It’s close to the A12 so some traffic can be heard, but you soon get used to it and lots of kids playing meant the sound of happy campers soon drowned out the cars.
We had a brilliant time as a family with young children.

Communication was easy and quick
They were really lovely
If you need to buy wood from the on site shop and the facilities were all really clean.

We had a lovely time the campsite was very relaxing and clean.
We really want to come back and stay with the whole family for a few more nights so we can really enjoy the whole campsite and Suffolk area.

Excellent facilities, great location.
Well stocked and well priced shop on site. Staff very friendly.
Facilities very clean and easily accessible.
Pet friendly, but dogs must be on a lead at all times, which can be a tad challenging.

Nice small site in Wickham Market, interesting footpath into town centre. Site has 2 large ponds ( one for fishing) and site bordered by River Deben.
Lots of lovely trees around the site, some apple trees in blossom when we were there. Some of site quite sloped but large flat field bordered by river for tents and non electric pitches.
Site quite near to interesting Suffolk historical sites and coastline. Sutton Hoo, Framlingham castle, Orford castle and Orford coastline all within about 10 miles.
Didn’t try showers (although looked ok) but pretty cold mornings, and unheated shower block deterred us when we were there. Very useful kitchen area available for campers, large table, 3 or more microwaves, washing up sinks, fridge/freezer +
Wardens at site friendly and helpful.

Great site, welcome, facilities etc. Have camped here many times. Lovely and at quiet at beginning of season.
Cooked all the time on open fire.
Lovely walk across fields to large co-op and excellent butchers and fish and chips shop in W-M.
Loads of options for local/coastal walks & trips.
Very relaxed camp site. Would highly recommend.

We booked The Orchard for our first family camping trip with our 6 and 9 year old.
The site was clean and well laid out, being able to chose where you wanted to pitch up was great giving us the option to have shade due to the wide amount of trees around the site.
The facilities were all clean and easy to use, toilets had ample lop roll and hand soap. Showers were nice and warm and again clean. We used the fridge and freezers to store food items and cool blocks.
We really enjoyed being able to have a camp fire next to our tent. The children's activity sheets were also very good. You could buy all basic items at the site shop and the local village has a coop and primer shop.

Friendly and approachable staff on site. Available from 8 am to 10 pm daily for any questions. The on-site shop was stocked well for adult and child needs.
Kitchen facilities very good, showers were good. The only drawback was the toilets, the cubicle could be cleaned more regularly and the soup replenished daily.
Great for large groups, a bit busy for one family unit.
