We only had one night but thought the facilities were great: hot showers and very clean.
Nice and close to shops for provisions and the van man who arrived selling cakes, bread, fresh fish etc was an added bonus!

Beautiful location, great facilities. Neat, flat space for tent, warm showers, food on site, plenty of space.
Kind, generous hosts- as yet more boring tourists on Skye we were touched by the hosts' patience and enthusiasm to share orientation to the island. They're fun and curious, great stories. Bring your self.
We loved the community center in Staffin as well, this seems like a special town. A pleasant 5-10 min walk from the campsite.

We arrived to rest for two nights after hiking the WHW.
We needed a quiet place with a bathroom, basic facilities and easy walking access to the attractions in northern Skye.
Our expectations were fully met, and we received a warm welcome.
The only minor issue was the lack of power outlets in the kitchen area or the bathroom.
via mobile
|
Management response: There is no requirement to have power points in a bathroom shower block. We supply shaver charge points, hand driers and a hair dryer, all integrated into the electrics of the building for safety. Open plugs are not suitable in that environment.
We do offer free charge points for all IT equipment, telephones or battery packs at reception.
The kitchen area hosts a kettle, microwave and fridge / freezer these are all provided free and make use of the existing sockets. |

We enjoyed the short stay at your campsite.
The area is lovely full of greenery and it is super quiet.
The facilities are all there and a hairdryer was also included in the shower section.
Since the campsite is uphill, the view is incredible and there is ample space in every side of the campsite and beyond for a lovely walk.
Isle of Skye is superb and a stop at this campsite is a must

Staffin Campground was a fantastic place to stay and perfectly situated for exploring Skye, whether hiking locally or hopping on the bus to venture farther afield.
The campground had a number of handy amenities, including laundry facilities and a small takeaway serving tasty food options.
Best of all, the owners and staff were absolutely terrific—friendly, welcoming, and a real highlight of my stay.

Lovely campsite with one of the best lawns I have slept on in a long time: very soft and draining well in spite of the rain.
A place I would be happy to stay at again.
It is very practical to be able to get a nice breakfast or food on site.
The team is very knowledgeable about the area so don’t hesitate to ask them questions.

We stayed at this campsite for two nights.
It was very good and reasonably clean.
The men's washrooms could be better, but overall, it was very decent.
We recommend booking in advance, as it gets very busy.

A wonderfully situated site with such a warm-hearted warden and his equally lovely wife. Bear loved our dog more than us ;-))
A convenient starting point for the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr.
Great site; all the facilities are showing their age a bit, but are spotlessly clean.
We’ll be back, Bear. Promise.

Versprochen

Great little campsite with basic but great facilities. Showers where hot and spacious. Good washing up area with microwave, fridge and table.
A laundry room with plenty of space to hang things, and a rack for shoes!
And a wee little takeaway place, the smell coming from it in the morning was lovely!

Excellent organised site to stay.
Evening meals and breakfast on order to take out. Sanitary unit as good as you need!
Close to the main road going northeast but no noise at all in site.

Excellent campsite, has everything you need and more. Well maintained: grass pitches for tents has soft, spongy grass, lots of space.
Excellent showers (no need for coins), with lots of hooks for clothes and towels.
Quiet, well-behaved holiday-makers. On-site cooked breakfast/dinner food options - we didn't co-ordinate with the times, so cannot review.
Simple booking; friendly and helpful owner/staff.
Great location, close to dino-prints, Quirang, Old Man of Storr, etc.
Loved it.

Great well kept campsite with a nice hard standing pitch for the van with option of electric. Plenty of tent pitches on well kept grass.
Great views & good location.
Good washing facilities, good hot showers & Elsan water disposal.
We had a nice circular to the beach hunting for dinosaur footprints

A lovely site with lots of beautifully kept grass. Decent shower block which was kept clean and a campers kitchen facility for tenters.
Very friendly staff who were helpful throughout our stay.
The reception office does burgers etc and also does bacon butties for breakfast. I cannot comment on quality as didn't use.
There is a great dog walking area from site and we walked down to the beach and back through the village.
Had lunch at Mackenzie's store, (very limited menu), which was nice and there is also a community cafe which wasn't open when we visited due to a power outage.
We paid £26 per night without EHU. Would definitely stay again if visiting Skye.

Perfect location to pitch after doing a walk round the Old Man of Storr and Storr, before heading to the Quiraing the following day.
Facilities included toilets, hot showers, and a shelter for cooking (which was ideal when the rain and wind came in).
Communication was great when booking and staff were lovely.
The tent pitches (non electric) where we were pitched were slightly angled so can be a bit of a pain if your mattress/sleeping bag don’t have grip but overall, not a huge issue for our medium sized tent.

Had a great stay at Staffin in a campervan with my dog.
There’s a great dog walk just through a gate on site, the facilities were clean and easy.
It was one of the quieter campsites I’ve been to in terms of sheltered from the wind and rain so we had such a peaceful night’s sleep, and the takeaway meals are a life saver from the little hub at reception!
