 Very friendly helpful site.
Lovely pitches serviced with picnic bench to every pitch.
Although was wet February still a pretty site.
Only thing could fault were the showers, is a shower where you have to keep your hand on the button

Super friendly welcome.
Great site in the countryside.
The ladies loos were immaculate and nicely heated.
We only had a brief stay but will definitely return.
Would be nice if they had wifi available throughout the site.

First time visiting this site, good facilities, very clean.
Each pitch has its own picnic table and BBQ which is great.
Great dog walking, large field for them to run around in.
Will be visiting again soon.

We had an enjoyable 5 night stay at the Kloofs caravan park. Stayed there from the 27th to the 1st January.
The staff there are very helpful.
Will be going back again.

Nice welcome from lady in reception.
Showed us to our pitch.
Facilities clean and well maintained.
Only gripe, we didn't have our own water tap, despite being told we would so had to use ones on vacant pitches.
Site is in a lovely area but far out from town and other areas so you really need a car, we were in the motorhome so we didn't really get away from the site.

Nice site. Pitches a good size & all have their own picnic bench & stone BBQ unit.
Maintenance on site kept up well & toilets & showers clean & good to use.
Very dog friendly & lots of dog bins around. Good position too, Bexhill is a nice area.
Good to visit the South Downs, Hastings & Eastbourne.
Des who manages the site is very friendly & helpful.
Very good value for money,
Will definitely return. Great few days away.

Very helpful staff, although due to the weather a lot of sites were closed so we ended up on a grass pitch no electric, so not ideal,
The only negative comment I would say is the lake side bar closes at 8pm which meant driving so no drinking.

A smiling face greeted us when we arrived and we were told where to find out pitch and given a map to help us. We had booked a large fully serviced pitch which was situated under the tallest oak tree's I've ever seen, thankfully they had dropped most of their acorns.
The weather was fine when we arrived and we were able to take advantage of the picnic table and enjoy our lunch, each pitch has a table and brick built bbq stand.
We had a lovely view across fields with sheep. The shower block and toilets were very good and lovely and warm, a bonus in November. Then the weather changed, two days of heavy rain and strong winds gusting 45/50mph, our pitch no 56 was fine, no flooding and the rest of the acorns fell off the tree onto the caravan roof.
The site is hilly so may not suit some people. The local roads are very narrow and bendy but even with all the rain they remained passable. We had fish and chips from the chip shop in Sidley and I have to say I've had better.
We visited Bexhill Museum which was enjoyable and the staff were lovely and very informative, they have a doll that belonged to the Queen, beautiful clothes, model railway and racing cars plus a lot more.
We also went to the De La Warr Pavillion where we had coffee and a massive slice of delicious cake. Despite the weather we had a lovely time and will return.
I would suggest you check out the site entrance on Google earth before travelling and make sure you enter the lane from the North.

Our second visit to Kloofs, this time with our friends. Kloofs were friendly & helpful as before, happily accommodating us together.
We love the fully serviced option. Torrential rain left the grass hardstanding pitch muddy but couldn't be avoided.
One minor issue was promptly dealt with. Unfortunately our circumstances changed and we had to leave early,
We will book again as it's a lovely site run by people who understand camping and caravanning,
Next time I will opt for a fully serviced gravel hardstanding.

Spent 6 nights on this site. The booking arrangements were very simple. Access to the site is fairly straightforward if you follow their directions rather than satnav. Not helped by the fact that a number of roads in the area were closed for "works" and the "diversions" tortuous - which also affected getting around the area generally.
On arrival the welcome was warm and we were shown to our pitch, which was very roomy. It came with fresh water and grey water disposal. The site is on a slope but the pitches terraced. There are two facility blocks; one at the top end of the site with comprehensive facilities and the other is unisex, but adequate.
Out and about, Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill are all within easy reach. Battle was a disappointment; apart from the abbey, there's little of interest.
The local pub, the Rose and Crown is about a mile away on roads which are not suitable for pedestrians. On the day we visited it had a problem with some kitchen equipment and thus a restricted menu. Nevertheless the welcome was warm, the choice adequate, the service prompt and the food tasty.

What a fantastic time we have had, this is the 2nd year we have been to Kloofs.
Facilities are amazing and spotlessly clean, such a safe area for the kids to run wild from the play area to the open fields.
Fully serviced pitches, I could go on and on.
The staff are amazing I have been caravanning 20 plus years and a mishap on my hitching the van was rectified within minutes by Phil and Des thank you guys got me home the 260 odd miles we had to go.
And a massive thank you to Julie in reception for everything you did to make our stay special.
Certainly back next year
I can only score 10 out of 10 wish I could give more

3 day visit, We actually arrived nearly 2 hours before the arrival time of 12 noon I should have checked the check in time before I didn’t and only the next day I realised it was a noon check in.
On arrival we were greeted with a happy smile shown the pitch within minutes. And not a word about arriving hours too early! Very impressed.
We are self reliant when camping and gather our food/drinks before we return to camp each evening.
The shop did save the day when we had a salad. The shop had salad cream which cheered the wife.
Toilets/showers, we used the lower ones on site. They were very clean and spacious, Wheelchair users would love the showers for the room they have.
Overall very pleased and made for a fantastic 3 evenings we actually were at the site, days were spent discovering the South Downs … Thank you 😊

Great site, very clean and spacious with a table and water tap on each pitch. Staff were really helpful.
Facilities are good, lovely hot showers though having to keep your hand on the button to keep the shower running is annoying.
Will definitely be back next year.

Really liked the site apart from the hairy last bit of the approach to the site. Both toilet/shower blocks are now open and the lower one now has lighting (I understand previously it did not).
A very quiet site, not much in the way of lighting at night, so great for sitting outside and watching the stars.
Shop was closed for the first week and a half and open for the last few days but was very poorly stocked, hopefully that will improve when someone has been down to the cash and carry.
Conservatory has lots of tourist information available, plus it's the only place with WiFi. Our Smarty MiFi didn't work well on site possibly due to the trees stopping the signal.
Two dog walk areas, one huge one at the bottom of the hill through the statics and a smaller one by the entrance. We had a fully serviced pitch and couldn't fault it.
Lower cabin could do with a bit of a spruce up but I believe it's a work in progress so should improve.
Lots of places in Bexhill are dog friendly, we recommend the Caffe Roma (garlic bread to die for) and the Trattoria. Hastings old town is also lovely.

Wonderful place!
The site is beautiful and situated in a very quiet, peaceful location.
We absolutely love this site.
Our children love it there, they make so many friends and memories.
