Great place and friendly owner who was always about with his shower tokens in his pocket, we enjoyed our stay and will be back,
Made us feel very welcome,
Site could do with a tidy up around farm buildings and rubbish bins and recycling a bit better

An oasis after the journey for winding down to realise that there is another world away from the stresses and strains of what can be considered normal life.
In the countryside on a arable farm, welcomed by Ross at reception who arranged with Odell to walk us round the site to select a generous sized pitch with electrical hookup.
Modern shower / toilet block to supplement the older toilet and shower blocks. Odell the owner would do his walk around site at night to check all was well.
As this is a rural site you have to be prepared as the village has no shop that we could find and the local pub is about one mile away.
If you have a dog, are meeting like minded friends or family and can enjoy being in the countryside this site is perfect.

What a lovely welcome we got and were given an enclosed area for our motorhome 2 caravans and 3 dogs.
Fabulous walks along mixed areas in the barley fields.
Safe to let the dogs off their leads.
New showers very smart.
Would return

Yet another fantastic weekend at Brighthouse Farm. Stayed as a family group of 19 with a mixture of tents, caravan and a courtyard B&B room for the older members of the family.
A fantastic site with lots of space to spread out. We had a dedicated area for just our group so no need to worry about upsetting fellow campers with our group antics. Odell as welcoming as ever and on hand to answer any questions and supply shower tokens! Basic but clean facilities.
A site with beautiful views across the fields and miles of cut walks around the fields. Perfect for walking the dog. Made our annual trip to
The Swan in the village for yet another great meal. Just make sure you book ahead if you’re a large group and Laura will provide menus so you can pre order.
Reluctant to leave a review as I don’t want this site to get too busy and jeopardise my future bookings!
We will be back Odell - same time, same place 😊 See you next year!

This has been our third stay at this lovely working farm. It is relaxed, friendly and the owners are so welcoming.
In total 14 of us, plus the dog, had yet another brilliant family get together.
The surroundings are beautiful with some nice walks and the facilities are just right.
Totally recommend a visit here!

Lovely, spacious and peaceful site with superb views and walks. Good for fans of dark skies as well.
Our host is an interesting and very entertaining chap and nothing is too much trouble.
Excellent facilities, with a shiny new shower block, just coming on stream while we were there.
And better still, it's barely an hour from home.
I'll be back!

Fabulous site. Very quiet, with extensive views across countryside. We normally stay at CLs, and were apprehensive about staying on a 40-pitch site, but were potentially being joined by family with tents. You're really not aware of the size, as the pitches are informally spread around different areas and shielded by trees.
If you're out walking on the farm before 7. 30, you may see up to ~70 deer roaming around.
The toilet blocks were totally adequate, although the owners have responded to previous reviews and are just finalising a new block.
It's a shame the local shop closed, but there are others within an easy drive.
We'll definitely be back, and bring more of the family with us.

Fantastic stay over Christmas
The site is very quiet and beautiful with great views over the fields with loads of places to walk,
It’s great that you can choose where you would like to pitch and great that it’s not all uniform.
The owners are really relaxed and amazingly helpful
Will definitely stay again

Proper opportunity to relax and get away from it all at this beautiful, scenic campsite. Exceptionally quiet, just the gentle sound of wildlife to wake up to, with all the necessary facilities you need to support your stay.
Set within 6 acres of woodland, next to open fields with panoramic views and big skies, this site exudes tranquility. It's part of a working farm, but you wouldn't know it (the owner Odell has worked the farm and maintained the campsite for 5 generations).
The spacious, non-regimented pitches are set amongst well kept lawns and mature trees. Many pitches have their own seating areas with wooden tables and benches. EHU comes with each pitch and there are 5 freshwater standpipes located around the site.
There are wetrooms (£1 tokens obtained from Odell) and separate shower blocks/toilets. Also an indoor washing up facility and chemical waste point. The toilet blocks and area were generally clean, but do look a bit dated and could do with a spruce up. We also tripped the electric when boiling the kettle whilst the motorhome boiler was on, so need to be conscious of overloading it.
The site has its own dedicated footpaths one of which takes you directly to the local village of Lawshall, with The Swan pub and a village shop. It's dog friendly and there is a 1. 5 mile walk directly from the camping fields which is exclusive to guests.
Access to the site is via an unattractive, rundown barn and storage area which needs some serious TLC. But don't let that put you off. The site itself is lovely. We will be staying again.

Lovely, well kept site. Great to be able to select the pitch which suited us. Owner visible and available if needed, but not at all intrusive.
Excellent choice of facilities, four wetrooms and four bathrooms. Wet room showers last plenty long enough with one token. Hairdryer in ladies wetroom.
Good walks, signposted and well kept to nearest village. No shop nearby. But eggs and veg available at nearby farmhouse road stalls as you drive in villages.
Bury is an easy drive and several other places of interest to visit, the site is well placed.

We had a fantastic stay at Bright House Farm: Odell was very welcoming and fun. The star gazing was awesome and we loved that there isn’t anything To
Do except play, bike, walk, sing around a campfire (in a pit). Also because the pitches were not split it could be very sociable as we were with friends.
We will definitely stay here and again and hopefully winter time too

Lush green site, beautiful country views, lots of space, loos and showers fine,
Walks around the farm and to pub straight from site, dog friendly, helpful owner.
Short walk to village but shop now closed. Convenient for Bury St Edmunds.

This site is in a great location, no road noise just bird song and a little farm noise in the distance.
Odell the owner is helpful, helps you choose your pitch and says park how you wish this is not a regimented site.
It has toilets, showers, electric hook ups, water and waste disposal so what more could one want from a gorgeous country site
So go visit you will not be disappointed.
