Lovely campsite. Staff welcoming. Facilities clean and tidy.
We would use and recommend highly!
Excellent location in relation to the local beaches-only 20-25 min walk through lovely country lanes.

Very nice site, close enough to walk into East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay.
Facilities were good, even though the showers were not available. Toilets were very clean.
Most visitors were very respectful apart for a party opposite us who decided to try out fire jumping later in the night.
I would recommend.

Gorgeous site (park so your doors open south facing up the field for sunrise). The owners were wonderfully absent- helped with everything we asked about but didn’t feel it necessary to check in on us.
Site was good- the ground was firm even after torrential rains.
Proximity to villages was great. The old railway line was great to walk to the pub (George and Falcon) on in the gloming, and even more fun to walk back on in the dark. Don’t forget some lights/ reflective clothes as there is a bit of road walking.
Water and waste easy to access.
Great little spot.

This was our 5th year of visiting Stubcroft, It is our favourite site, the facilities are second to none, extremely clean, the pitches are a good size and having a fire pit is always a bonus.
There are plenty of places nearby to visit, the nearest beach is just 20 mins walk away, as are takeaways and pubs.
The staff are very friendly and helpful they are dealing with Covid measures excellently and the shop sells a good range of basic items including local sausages and bacon perfect for a barbecue.
Would highly recommend this site so long as we can still get on it! Thanks Stubcroft.

Very good as we were tucked out of the way near reception. Not noisy and easy to be self isolated.
Did not use any facilities as we had all we needed in the van.
Well situated for nearby towns and beautiful villages.
Weather was very hot!

A very busy family site, not our usual choice, but this was extremely well run and organised. No hard standing, serviced pitches in small fields, each field divided by a hedge from the next to create the feel of a small site. Efforts being made to be environmentally friendly.
Good facilities and due to covid there was a booking system for showers which worked well. A farm site so produce was available to purchase and bbqs and braziers to hire. Strict use of bricks, also available, to avoid burning the grass. Very helpful and efficient staff and excellent info provided upfront leaflets etc.
Footpaths from the site, 20 mins to East Wittering and the beach. Plenty of places to eat.
Would like to visit again on a quiet weekend!

The 1/2 mile approach road/lane was unmade, full of potholes, uncomfortable and was the only entrance and exit. As we had bikes we could use a pedestrian entrance but we felt the lane would be particularly aggravating for motorhome owners or car owners leaving and returning to the site on a daily basis.
Having requested an EHU on grass we found our pitch to be sharing a 6 amp supply with two other units giving 2 amp per pitch if shared fairly. Alongside the hook up there was a sign saying that in the event of a powertrip we could be charged for reconnection!
All this for an expensive £39 per night in September 2020.
We won't be returning.

The sheltered but open fields. The wash and shower facilities. The campfires. The small, but well stocked shop.
The beaches and local villages.
The relaxed atmosphere and all round set up, by far the best family campsite I've been too.
The kids live it, and always ask to come back every year. May it continue! :)
