On arrival, after an uneventful journey, our car wasn’t recognised by the camera to let us in the barrier, not a good start. A very nice man said to pop into reception and the lady in there would sort it out for us. The members of staff were very friendly.
We found our pitch, No 49 which wasn’t a bad size but the roadways are so narrow, so with a twin axle van and big car it was a bit of a task getting it on there, eventually we unhitched and finished it off on the motor mover. , something we’ve never needed to do before.
The pitch was large, fully serviced 16 amp. We did a walk round and a few of the pitches seemed quite tight if you had a big outfit. The views up the top of the site were lovely. The red kites flying over were wonderful to watch.
We just managed to get set up before the heavens opened. We had booked for Sunday lunch, so trotted off to the Farm Kitchen on site. We both had roast beef which was very good, and a bread and butter pudding and apple & Cinnamon crumble which were good too.
We were a bit disappointed to find there was a 10% service charge which we thought a bit strange for a campsite restaurant, we like to tip for good service rather than it being automatically added. We did eat in there a couple of other times on the Italian night and had the fish and chips which were all very good.
The toilets /showers were clean and thankfully not push button, always had hot water although flow could have been a bit better.
The position is an easy walk into the lovely Henley which took about 10 mins where there are an abundant of places to eat. We took one of the hour cruises on the river which was a lovely experience. We went to Marlow on the bus, where the stop is literally outside the campsite.
The site was very quiet, and the grounds are all kept tidy. There is a small shop on site which stocks camping bits and bobs and a small selection of food items and meat and ready meals in the fridge and alcohol of course!
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, although the weather wasn’t very kind to us. We would come back but probably not for 7 nights.

An excellent large site with everything you'd expect.
Maybe it was the weather, but it could really have been one of those excellent French sites; dry grass, few pine trees, good sized pitches.
Well run, quiet, with quite a few well behaved kids enjoying the sun.
Beautifully clean with lots of showers and toilets and never had to wait even in August.
Even have parakeets dashing around but watch those kites if you're eating a cake sat outside; they're getting as agile as Devon gulls with your ice cream!

Fantastically friendly staff and a beautifully kept site. Loads for our grandson to do and keep him entertained, and a lovely quiet site for the older generation.
Great to have a heated swimming pool, and the booking system worked well.
Toilets and showers all modern and clean. Showers could have more water, and another bonus would be small sponges for people to clean around the sink area after use ( seen in other high level campsites) which would have kept them looking pristine.
A lot more than we would normally pay, but it's high season, Oxfordshire and an excellent site.

Lovely clean and welcoming site. The staff were very polite and helpful.
This was my first time being a CAMC member and I was not disappointed.
The walk to Henley was about 1. 2 miles along the road. The village is lovely with many little shops and pubs.
The local rugby club do breakfasts for those that don't want to make their own.

Excellent site, we used all the on site facilities and they were always immaculately clean and well kept.
All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The cafe is also very good, nice food and excellent service.
Easy walk into Henley or walks along the Thames just across the road from the site.
Highly recommend.

We had a last minute trip away, phoned the site to check availability which was confirmed but they charge £3 to book via phone so I booked on line.
Very efficient all information was e-mailed including the pitch number, arrived and went to the pitch, it was not what we like, under a large tree so very shaded with lots of fallen leaves. I phoned reception and the friendly lady quickly gave us another pitch to look at, this was much better so we quickly set up and got the deckchairs out.
The facilities block is very clean and well cared for, we used the loos, showers and washing up area all excellent.
We could only stay two nights as they were fully booked on the Saturday we had forgotten it was half term.
We enjoyed a lovely walk into Henley both days and were lucky to have some good weather.
Our dog was unwell so we did not get chance to visit the cafe area but it seemed very popular
A great site with well looked after pitches and facilities in a great location with bus stops at the entrance a pelican crossing and an easy pavement walk into the lovely town
The dog walk field is lovely
We will return but outside of the school holidays when it is not so busy

Stayed during a dry but cool weekend in June on one of the deluxe tent pitches. These pitches are large, have a table and seats and EHU.
The site is in a beautiful location in the Thames Valley around a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Henley-on-Thames, which has plenty of shops and facilities.
The shower and toilet facilities are some of the best we've seen anywhere, and are kept clean throughout the day (not just once).
There is a swimming pool, which you can book online - we went in the adults only one which is from 0830-0930. There's a large playing field at the end of the tent field.
There is an excellent cafe-bar which we used on the first night (tired after pitching tent) and the last morning for breakfast after packing up. It is really good quality, has local ales, and is used by local residents as well (the local cycling club were eating there on the Saturday, and it was recommended by regulars at Henley parkrun).
There is a station in town on the branch line to Twyford, where you can connect with Elizabeth Line/GWR trains to London and Reading. There's a bus stop outside the site, with departures to Marlow, High Wycombe and Reading.
All in all, it is a lovely site with friendly staff and we will be back.

Another great stay at Swiss Farm.
The facilities are spotless, the staff are very friendly.
I especially like the automatic number plate recognition at the barrier meaning you don’t have to go into reception when you arrive.

First visit to this site, despite the weather not being favourable we had a lovely time and will certainly return.
The facilities are very good always clean and well maintained.
Henley is just a short walk away and there are other options for walking straight from the site which suits us perfectly.
The eatery on site was absolutely excellent, we sampled main meal, breakfasts and just coffee all were of a high standard and the staff were really friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Lovely clean site with friendly and helpful staff.
Really close to Henley shops and restaurants.
We arrived late (8. 45pm) and a helpful security person came and found us and showed us to our pitch
