 Great stay. Well equipped site.
Clean and well maintained.
10 mins walk from the village of hope which has pubs, cafes, shops and a marvellous Indian restaurant that delivers take away to camp site.
Bus stop directly outside and train station across the road.
Nice touches shop and take away van on site with breakfasts and takeaway evenings.
Bar and sheltered heated gazebo.
Fish and chip van on Saturday evening.
Lovely friendly staff
Definitely visit again
Only gripe some caravans are permanent pitches and they tend to have dogs which some appear to bark constantly.

We booked two adjacent pitches and had a folding camper and a tent. Our stay was midweek termtime, and the site seemed fairly quiet.
Laneside is lovely, and well laid out. It is perfectly placed to explore the beautiful Hope Valley.
The facilities were excellent, easily sufficient and kept clean. Two toilet blocks, so one is always open. Lots of dishwashing sinks, very hot water, and a dog washing station as well.
The on site shop is well stocked, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The site is quiet after 10. 30pm, and that was respected making this a very relaxing stay.
There is a bar and food options, but we didn't try them so can't comment.
We will definitely visit again.

The site was very clean, quiet and had plenty of facilities.
This was our first weekend away in our first caravan.
Inevitably we had forgotten a couple of essentials and the shop on site had a useful and reasonably priced range of items.
The pub was very relaxed, warm and catered well for our 2 dogs.
It was a perfect stay.

Excellent campsite, very clean and showers are great. Everything you need in one place.
3 pubs within 10 min walk with Excellent food and drink.
A mecca for walkers Mam Tor skyline across to Lose Hill and a coffee stop at Hope village.
Lots of places to visit ie castleton well known for its caves and blue john gem stone.
Whilst buxton offers a shoppers delight and famous for its opera house. We will be returning again soon. 👍

Had another great stay here. Well placed to visit Hope and castleton.
Also great for visiting Mam Tor, Winnits Pass and all the Caverns surrounding castleton.
Site was immaculate again, showers spotless and all the staff friendly.
Would definitely recommend a visit if your near.

Staff very nice and friendly
Site clean and great sized pitches
Washrooms are also very clean, plenty of pot wash sinks
Food vans on site as is a nail bar
Table tennis also provided football pitch and good dog walk space

Perfectly situated just outside Hope, this campsite is absolutely up there with the best for its facilities.
They have recently added new shower blocks and these are excellent. There are LOADS of wash-up stations and the water is consistently hot in these as well as in the showers.
They manage to be able to offer a lot of pitches but the site is well laid out so you don't have to walk too far to get to what you need.
There is a shop (didn't visit so can't really comment on that) and an information point that has washers, driers, a freezer for ice blocks, books and games as well as information on the area in abundance.
The 10:30pm noise curfew was perfect for us and there were no issues with other guests at the site making noise so this was really welcome and we both had a great night's sleep both nights.
We thought the price was about right and were happy to pay it, in fact now we have been we would say they could charge more for what they have but I guess they don't want to put potential new visitors off.
Would recommend this site as a base for those visiting the Hope Valley as we were able to see lots of the places we wanted to see within an easy drive from there.

Excellent well maintained site in the heart of the peak district, well kept shower/toilet blocks.
Staff and owner really friendly and helpful.
Small well stocked shop on site but the village is only a 5 to 10 minute amble from the site with 2 good pubs with beer gardens, numerous tearooms, spar mini market and an excellent butcher, pork pies are delicious

The site was perfectly situated for a good variety of hikes.
The facilities were top class and plentiful.
The only negative is the proximity to a busy road. If possible ask for a pitch away from the road

Fabulous Site. We've just returned from Laneside Caravan Park where we had a great time.
The position of the site is superb with the proximity to Hope Village.
The walks from the site are brilliant and being so close to castleton is a bonus. On site there are more than enough showers and they are hot and clean.
There are also some new ones which are superb. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, the shop is good and sells everything you need.
All in all one of the best sites we have been on and I am sure we will return in the future. Thanks to all the staff.

Good warm modern facilities, flat hardstanding pitches,
Small on site shop with the basics, Spar supermarket only a 5 min walk away in Hope,
Friendly and helpful staff.

Great sight, great location next to the river, pitches are large and well spaced, with new hard standings.
Toilets and showers are clean and warm, also a laundry.
Plenty to do in the area, lots of walks or a stroll into the village.
The deli is brilliant and can recommend the curry cabin eat in or take away. You can take your own wine if you eat in. Spar next door can accommodate this.
Plenty of pubs walkable who all serve food.
Overall I personally love this site.
The wardens are friendly and the sight well maintained and it improves every year.
