Looks like a great site, pub, restaurant, games room, shop and well spaced pitches. Plenty of toilets & showers and staff very friendly on arrival. Shop on site sells drinks, ice creams and lots of foodstuffs, toys and camping gear.
The coastal path is just a few minutes walk from the pitches and is easily accessible in either direction. The views on this walk are fabulous.
Alternatively there is a bus service into Weymouth accessible after a 1km walk uphill to the bus stop.
We arrived in late September, the site was far from full so restaurant, pub and games room were not operational and the shop shut a little earlier than advertised. But the issues we had were that the temperature of the showers, washing up water and hairdryer were all too cool. The standard pitch was not at all level we had to use wedges to max height at the rear, thankfully we carry an extra step otherwise we couldn't have got into the MH via the habitation door. Disappointing.

Been coming here for decades but don't think we will be coming back again. The new owners have halved the camping shop an we couldn't get even basic items (although after we pointed this out one of the items was stocked).
This has always been a beautiful site and it still is but we have never before had such a noisy stay. Almost every other unit had a dog and whilst the larger ones were perfectly behaved the small dogs created a cacophony of barking and yapping whenever someone walked past, they saw another dog or even - it seemed - when they were bored.
In many instances the owners did nothing to stop them and in others they just picked them up and cuddled them, thereby rewarding their bad behaviour. In addition to this, the new owners seem to have the loudest grass cutting machine ever heard. It was going all day long and only packed up around 3. 15pm. Was like being next to a building site with machinery.
We had expected the usual quiet beautiful site getaway but what we got was NOISE. Never again.

Great place to stay, get a taxie to town in a few minutes.
Toilets & shower blocks always kept clean,
Shop on site sells food and lots of other things you may need for your stay the staff are very helpful, there is a pub on site you can buy meals there or in the restaurant.
You can go on walks or go down to the lagoon in a few minutes.
We go every year and we love it. You will not be disappointed when you come !
There is a play area for the kids as well.

We used to stay at East Fleet quite a lot, when it was family owned and run, so decided to try it now Away Resorts have taken it over.
Had asked to be in the Stable Field when we booked back in January and our wish was granted. This is usually a quiet area but sadly our first night was spoiled by a family with 3 generations and dogs on the loose. Thankfully some of them left the next day.
Standard hardstanding pitches didn't really feel looked after. Looks like they concentrate on the more expensive fully serviced pitches?
We like the facilities in the Stable Field, individual shower rooms with sink and toilet, however this visit they were not very clean. Literally cobwebs everywhere.
Useful indoor washing up area.
Didn't use the on site bar/restaurant so cannot comment.
Love the accessories shop though, definitely the best on site one we've come across anywhere.
Walked uphill to the Army Camp to catch the bus into Weymouth - £2 each way per adult.
We enjoyed some lovely weather here and walked to the little Fleet Chapel, the Fleet and the hill about which has great views.
Sadly this will probably our last visit to East Fleet as there are other better sites in the area now.

Loved it again, go every year at the start of the season to ensure van is all ok.
2 lovely nights.
The van is 5 miles closer to our house than the storage location when we come here and means I can go get any tools etc in a jiffy.
My only problem is dogs, there have to be areas where dogs just don't go??? The restaurant had dogs growling and barking at each other all evening, at least keep them under control please.

Excellent site staff very attentive. Very helpful with cycle and walking routes. Facilities very clean.
Grass pitches not clearly marked stones on the floor with number not visible. Nice size pitches.
The only downside is the hill you have to walk up to the bus stop.
No good for cycling up the hill you need to be very fit, but once up cycle routes all over Weymouth and Portland if you fancy a challenge.
Shop on site very good they are also very well stocked for camping needs
Will definitely use the site in the future for visiting Weymouth 👍

Great campsite. We took our son on his first camping trip here.
Showers was great the shop was great to. Perfect for families. Also a Aldi near by and fast food if you don’t fancy cooking.
The pitch was big and on flat ground.
Everyone’s silent in the night with most people with lights out at 9pm.
Will be going back when we can.

Great site with really good size pitches.
Toilet/shower block always very clean - both the old block and the new block.
Restaurant had a very limited and quite expensive menu so didn't use - shame they don't have different take away vans in the evenings like I think they used to.
Some nice walks but need a car to get to anything else - or walk the mile up the narrow lane and catch the bus.
Aldi also up the top of the narrow lane which is handy
